Fix-It-Freddy replaced my attic ladder for me. I had already bought one, but it turned out to be the wrong-size. So, they went to Home Depot for me, exchanged it, and finished the job in the same day. The owner was very communicative when they were stalled on a prior job, and did not keep me guessing about when they would arrive. I would hire them again.

Freddy helped us stabilize a dining table that our kids could easily tip over. He and his assistant did a great job installing the new table legs and adding extra reinforcements to make the table even more stable. He was also very patient and kind to my talkative 7-year-old who wanted to see what was happening. Thank you so much! Definitely will use him again for any handyman needs.

I called this team of professionals today as I was having new carpet installed. Upon ripping up the old carpet we discovered the sun flooring needed to be repaired. I called them stressed out and no where to turn. As I’m new to the area and no tools/equipment of my own just yet. Called Fix it Freddy and he was at my home within the hour. He explained what the problem was (toilet valve), and replaced it within a few minutes. He didn’t make a mess and left everything neat and clean. He was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him and will use him for future services.

Freddy provided excellent services and repairs very reasonable charges. Lowe’s delivery was there to install new refrigerator and ice maker. They could not turn off the ice maker valve. Thanks to Freddy he turned off the valve and turned off water to the house also installed ice maker line to water supply. Freddy stayed with us to make sure refrigerator was installed properly. Lowe’s left styrofoam and debris all over street thank you Freddy for cleaning up Lowe’s mess. Freddy is the best repairman we have used!!

Takes care of business fast and quotes fair prices. They just replaced part of the ceiling and drywall in an upstairs bedroom that was damaged from a roof leak.

We had an unusual request, but Freddy is an innovative problem solver! We foster cats, so Freddy built us custom “cat barriers” to keep cats from getting stuck underneath three large pieces of furniture. (It once took us 2 hours to free a cat who got in but couldn’t figure out how to get out!) Freddy is a total perfectionist, and is a wizard when it comes to measuring. The cat barriers fit like a glove. It’s as if they came with the furniture. As I write this review, I’m watching our present Foster Cat try repeatedly to find a way in. She finally gave up because Freddy’s balanced blend of skill, exactitude, and patience got everything just right. And since this was in our Living Room, it also had to look “invisible” to humans. So Freddy painted the barriers black (so they look like natural “shadows” under the furniture) while recessing the fronts (to prevent accidental kicks or scuff marks). So now our apartment is safe for cats, while still looking good, thanks to Freddy. And by the way, he’s also a really nice guy who is honest, ethical, extremely hardworking, and a total professional. Freddy’s main goal is to make people happy. Who could ask for more?

I had burglar bars on a rental property that needed to GO! I sent some photos for an estimate, Freddy got back with me fast, and we scheduled a date to have them removed. Freddy is very friendly yet highly professional. He worked quickly and carefully. His fee is reasonable and I would recommend anyone looking for help with anything around your home or office to give his company a try. I plan on asking for estimates for a plumbing job I also need help with. I’m a DIYer, but some things are best left to others who can do it quicker so I can work on other things on my list!

After a bad string of untrustworthy and/or untalented contractors in San Antonio, I was lucky to find Freddy. He was able to successfully find the cause of a window leak, fix it without tearing apart a wall, and make it look like new after the work was complete. He's responsive, trustworthy, fair on pricing, and most importantly... does VERY good work. I'll be going to him with any and all issues in the future.

We originally contacted Freddy to help us fix a door that wouldn’t close properly. He was very clear and transparent about the quote, and fixed everything quickly and professionally. We were so impressed, we hired him and his team to do a few other home renovations in our house, from replacing and building a new fence gate, to drywall replacement and texturing of our ceiling. All were done on time and completed with great quality.
