We had a consistently disappointing experience with CK Pools San Antonio. Over several weeks, our pool was left uncleaned despite multiple calls and promises from the office and management. We were repeatedly told a technician would come out, and each time, no one showed up. This lack of follow-through became a pattern, not a one-off issue.

One of the most alarming concerns was discovering a container of muriatic acid left unsecured by our pool—something we only noticed days later. With a toddler and two dogs in our home, that kind of negligence could have led to a tragic accident. On top of that, we found a technician's bag left in our pool. When we addressed this with the General Manager, we were assured the issues would be resolved, but nothing changed.

To make matters worse, we once overheard a technician complaining about the number of leaves in our pool and even accusing us of letting our dogs swim in it. First of all, we have trees—leaves in the pool are not some kind of outrageous issue. That’s part of pool maintenance. Second, our dogs hate the water and absolutely do not swim. And even if they did, we would expect a professional pool service in Texas, of all places, to know how to properly care for a pool that pets may use. That kind of comment was not only unprofessional—it was insulting.

We were also double-charged in March and charged again for April, even though we received no actual service. We eventually had to cancel and request a full refund, which we are still waiting to receive. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic service standards has been extremely frustrating.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend CK Pools to anyone. There are too many other pool companies out there that respect their customers’ time, safety, and property.
