I just had my chimney and dryer vent cleaned out. It’s hard to say how effective the chimney cleaning was, none the less it was cleaned. However the dryer vent cleaning was done and the technicians left a mess out side my home. I was not there but my wife was. They seemed Cavalier about the fact that the excess lent was on the ground. When my wife questioned them about the lent, they said that the wind would blow it away. Had I been there this would have been a non issue as I would have insisted they clean up after a service they provide. This being said it really puts into question the chimney service now that I think about it. For me it’s not so much the questionable service but the way they conducted themselves with my wife. It would seem that this company needs to address professional ethics when dealing with their clients. I will not use this company again. With every honest review left it may change they way this company operates.

SO CALLED technician couldn't figure out where dryer vented to after being told many times HE IS looking at the washer didn't speak any English . He cut/ damaged one of my vents and mangled another After mentioning what he had done, he put tape around it to "fix" it. He never apologized ether , then comes the owner with heavy accent he is from Israel but lies about it i looked them up they had a different company that closed i wonder why he try selling his disinfectant and mold protection i said no he was very pushy and unprofessional after being told that not interested he just walks out and sits in the van while the 2 guys were trying to clean the ducts 30 min later they tell me its done mind you my house is 6800 sf in 3 ac units 14 ducts none were cleaned pure scam i went to check and confronted them here comes the owner again he told the guy that didn't speak English to clean it ones started i noticed their cheap equipment i told him the cable is broken it might damage the duct he said i been doing this for over 20 years well first duct they damaged it i showed him he try to deny it ones took a picture he try to leave i asked for insurance so i can file a claim didn't provided i will be suing them contacted my lawyers DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMFORTABLE AIR THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

We used Comfortable Air to clean out ducts and vents. They took a look at the AC unit and suggested we do an disinfectant for mold in some of our vents. They said they would continue to clean the vents but never finished the job. We paid $700 and they didn’t clean all the vents and basically just sprayed a disinfectant. They also broke one of my outlet covers and didn’t tell me. When I asked how they tested for mold I was told “oh, we just know” the tech proceeded to wet a paper towel and wipe my vent. Very disappointed.

Nes, Ruben, Noam did an outstanding job servicing my system. They arrived on schedule, opened my unit, showed me where potential molds and mildew were building up in places I couldn't see.
Next their equipment throughly cleaned and sanitized my unit. Used a deodorizer and now my home not only smells better, I know the air is cleaner! I'm a retired Navy veteran whose capable of doing a lot to my home. I cannot recommend Comfortable Air enough because the air quality in your home makes all the difference to your wellness.

UPDATE: Gabriel was sent to the house and did an awesome follow up job. Its just too bad that it had to be done right and without stress the second time around.

Stay away from this place! Used a coupon for a dryer vent cleaning for $69. Called the lady, who I could barely understand, to make an appointment and she was able to get me a $59 price for the dryer vent cleaning.
Ruben Diaz and Jose Tunon showed up and informed me that Jose was going to go the vent on the roof and clean it out. (Showed me on his cell phone) I initially agreed. My wife then asked if they were going to go inside to the laundry room and clean the other end also. Ruben replied that they don't do that. My wife stated that they had to check both sides. Ruben agreed but complained to me that he and his partner shouldn't be doing all this for $59. Ruben then stated, "I'm wasting time and money on all this. If it aint one thing then its another." Ruben entered the house and angrily moved the dryer aside and nonchalantly cleaned the dryer vent to the dryer with a dry/wet vac. Ruben then told me that the vent was very dirty and wanted to charge me an extra $40 in which I declined. Ruben told me that all they do is the basic and anything else is extra. I doubt that the job was even done correctly as my dryer still does not dry. Worst service ever! Its very difficult to trust anybody in San Antonio to do a decent job without worrying about them trying to scam you. These guys just nailed the point home.

It was such a pleasure to have Comfortable Air clean my air ducts, heating system, sanitize, and install UV light. We can really smell the difference in the entire house. The crew is friendly, efficient and professional. I will call them yearly for preventative maintenance. They are awesome!

I hired this company for a simple duct clean . Of course they found mold. I was told installing a very very very pricey light would rid the unit of mold. They came back out 3 months later with a different technician per my request to see that the mold was erradicated. The tech then told me there was another side to my unit and that another light would need to be installed. I feel I should not have had to pay for the second light because the first technician did not inform me of the other side and the job was not done right the first time. They offered me a discount on the second light. Funny how a second light can cost 1/4 of the first light cost. I contacted the company and stated the job was not done correctly the first time and we continued to have mold grow on the other side. The company refused to compensate any further than the discounted price.

Last month I had a coupon for vent cleaning to be done. We had been having issues with our dryer not drying our clothes within the set time frame. So I contacted Comfortable Air to come out and clean the vents. A gentleman with a heavy accent and a younger gentleman came to do the job. While the younger guy was supposedly working on the dryer vent, the older gentleman with the accent went up to the attic to check things out. He told us that we had mold. My husband came home from work and went into the attic with him and yes, there was mold but not as much as the gentleman alluded to. He was pushy in trying to get us to have a treatment done. We refused the treatment. However, regarding the dryer vents, they showed me the lint that they had reportedly blown out of the vent. There was not very much there. After they left, I continued to have problems with the dryer not drying the clothes in a proper time frame. Since we had this done, we figured it was our dryer so we went out and bought a new dryer. Had it installed yesterday and sure enough, the clothes aren't drying. My husband decided to go on the roof himself to check out the vent area. It was totally clogged with thick clumps of lint being pulled out. He then went up through the vent from the inside of the house and again pulled out massive amounts of lint. If Comfortable Air had done the job correctly the first time, this would not have happened. **Please note that I did call them a few days after they had come out to tell them the dryer was still not drying things properly. They said they would try to come out but then Covid-19 happened and I called and told them not to come as I did not want them in my house. My biggest issue is that I feel they scammed me and did not complete the job fully. If they had, the issue would most likely have been resolved when they were here the first time.

I had my chimney swept with Comfortable Air. They were fast, prompt, and efficient.
I appreciated that the guys told me about their specials but did not try and hard sell me.
The technician said my flue was, “very dirty.” He and the other guy were able to get a lot of muck out of it.
Tonight I had the best fire I’ve had in years. Clearly-my flue was dangerously clogged. I’m so happy I called Comfortable Air.

I called to reschedule and was told he was going to charge me AGAIN. After explaining everything to the manager, she said she would send another person out. They sent the same guy. Before coming in, he began arguing again that my dryer didn't vent to my roof. He also told me he was going to have to charge me again. I told him I had already talked to his manager. I called her again and she called him to tell him he had to do it for free. I asked him to leave because by this time, I didn't trust him or this company. I will have to find a company that is ethical and provides better customer service. Do not use Comfortable Air!!

On August 30, 2021 Gabriel and his assistant came out for a routine duct cleaning after we moved into a new-to-us house. I knew the ducts were dirty since it was visible from every signle register. However, the pictures Gabriel took from inside the unit (I watched him take them) showed not only dirt and dust but also mold. The job ended up being much bigger, and yes more expensive, than initially planned. They were kind, professional, and most importantly thorough. For the amount of work they did, the cost was reasonable. I waited a few days to write a review to see if my 3 kids and husband's allergies were any better after the cleaning. Everyone had noticeable improvement the very next morning after the cleaning! I definitely recommend Comfortable Air Co. I only trust the health of my family to a licensed, professional, insured company.

My house was inspected prior to move in, showing pictures of lint buildup on roof vent and redline item it. I call Comfortable Air after seeing clip in coupon pack. A tag team came, sharp dresser and a sloppy dresser. The sloppy dresser went on the roof, meantime the sharp dresser started quick talking me into considering other services. I stated I was only concerned with getting my vent cleaned. He continued to insist and motioned me inside away from watching the clean out. After their shenanigans and stating the vent was already clean, I called my inspector asking why did I pay for an unnecessary service, he explain the lent buildup was at the roof opening. So I became uneasy now knowing my concerns remain. I submitted a review explaining all that occurred and was offered a do-over. I was told I would receive a call before they arrive, that did not happen. I loud knock at the door, the 1st guy insisted on coming in my house to see the dryer, merely to turn it on. This 1st guy was arrogant and argumentative. Guy 2 was neatly dressed, shirt tucked in, and on the roof with his tools. The 1st continued to question why I was concerned, I reiterated my concerns was at the roof opening, he went on the roof and proceeded to remove tons of lent buildup, he continued pulling it out, which was the images the inspector initially provided. I asked them to remove the grate covering, guy 1 insisted he would not recommend, I again for the 3rd time asked him to remove the grate. Then he stated he will not argue with me and removed it, I asked for the lent and the grate, he asked why, I stated I'm taking pictures. The both briskly whisked away. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Unprofessional workers, felt the need to come into your home when customer can turn on the dryer. The 1st group, the guy asked to use my restroom, only to get a piece of paper towel. I felt like they were casing my place, fortunately I just moved in and the place was bare.The sloppy guy began looking around the side of my house, I asked what he was looking for, he said his family member does lawn, and he was checking my area. This is an uneasy bunch of men. The women at the office seem professional, but the dispatch crew made me uneasy.

Provided excellent service. Both technicians were very knowledgeable, friendly and professionals. Explained in detail the cleaning process on the AC / Dryer vents and recommended other services. It was very easy to schedule the appointment with the customer service representative, she was awesome. Definitely will use them again.

We were recommended to this company by someone in our Neighborhood. $89 special based on the equipment we have. We called and scheduled. We had to be rescheduled twice. One was due to a truck breaking down which is understandable. It is hard to keep a 4 hour window open let alone for one day. The crew came out, showed some mold build-up in the unit. Quoted $1100 to take care of it. Pushed it two more times while on site. Was surprised they hooked up their giant vacuum to a vent- with the cover still attached and ran it for what seemed like 30 seconds. Checked my front door camera- They were there for less than an hour! Other companies give an estimate of 2-4 hours and could vary. I've contacted the company (spoke with Ana) and await to hear if there is any changes going to take place. Not satisfied with this experience so as of right now: Buyer beware.

These guys did a great job! It was fast too! We haven't had this service before and had been wanting to try it. My allergies have been really bad especially inside my house.
I feel so much better now that all the vents and ducts are clean!

This place absolutely SCAMMED me and many others as I have seen in their reviews. I hired them with a cheap coupon for air duct cleaning for $90. The entire experience was gross feeling and they totally tried to take advantage of me. The guy was asking me to tip him so that he could do a better job. They recommended that I get a really expensive UV light put in my system which I learned from another company later on was not needed. The actual cleaning is just them putting a vacuum on one duct and not actually brushing anything out. There was still tons of dust in the ducts when I had another company come and do it. Worst experience with a business I have had in a long time.

Terrible service! Originally saw them on 4/19/23, and they treated for mold, and cleaned my unit as well as cleared my dryer vents. Dryer vents needed to be redone on a separate visit because it wasn’t done correctly. When he treated for mold, and charged me a total of $1,640 he ASSURED me this would get rid of the mold and I would never have to worry about it again. I told him I was going to call him in 6 months to come back and check to make sure it was all gone, and he told me at that time if there was more mold it would be treated for free. When I’m referring to “he”…. this was the owner of the company.

On 10/14/23 I called them back out to check and make sure everything was good. They gave me a 4hr window between 8-12, and were 45 minutes late past that window. There was no call, nothing to indicate they were even still showing up. I had to actually call and find out where they were at. When he finally showed up, my son went into the attic with him, and was told we have more mold and said he would clean it for another $1,200! Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me 2x, shame on me! I came at him, and reminded him of our last conversation, and the $1,200 quickly came down to $600 for a new UV light because he said my light was not a good one although he told me originally on the first trip that the light was fine.

I’ve been reading other reviews, and hopefully they don’t respond to this one in the same manner. They say they are under “new management.”. That’s not true at this point, because in April the man that came to my house and stated he was the owner was also the same man that tried to come back this time and scam me out of more money.

Point is this: DO YOUR RESEARCH before you hire companies like this! I did not, and that’s on me, but better believe I won’t be taken like that again. Very dishonest man, don’t deal with him or his company.

I don’t normally write reviews and I don’t like when companies ask for people to write reviews but I did have a good experience. They confirmed my appointment the day before, called when they were on their way, asked if it was okay to park in my driveway for easy access to their equipment. They were very cautious when moving ladders and stuff around to get to vents. We were having trouble with our AC so I asked if the tune up could possible fix it. The guy had me demonstrate what was our issue and looked at everything, showed me pictures of the issues he found. He did find mold (which seems to be a common theme in the reviews?- so could be a scam like taking your car for an oil change and how much they over charge you for an air filter). I don’t know pricing of stuff like this but seemed reasonable for all what was being done. They were nice and professional during all interactions. They even notified me saying they forgot to leave the invoice and would email it to me immediately
