HVAC reviews in San Antonio, Texas

This company was contacted by our home warranty company. The day we called them they returned our call as soon as they could that same day, set appointment for the next day. Ordered the required part, set appointment came and installed as promised. Highly recommend Pinnacle Aire for your needs related to heating and AC.

I would like to say thank you to Richard, Trevino, and Pinnacle Aire, they came out to my house and serviced my air conditioner while it was so hot outside, it needed a new part and it needed to be cleaned up and they did a great job. it’s working just fine! These are the guys to call when you need anything for your air conditioner! They are the best!

Richard was honest, efficient and informative. He was on vacation but still helped us understand the process. He sent one of his crew to inspect the issues on Saturday and installed our unit right after his vacation. I think he even came back early to order the parts. He gave us a military discount and offered to submit our warranty for us. Highly recommend.

My A.C. went out the hottest weekend of the year and required replacement due to leaks and the use of outdated refrigerant. I did my due diligence and received quotes from several competing companies. Not only was Pinnacle one of the most affordable, they were very professional and were able to get the job done within hours. We're very appreciative for their service and family-centered business attitude. You can't go wrong these guys!

Our A/C stopped cooling late last night and I went into a panic of course lol. Richard, the owner, reached out immediately and came right over. He diagnosed the problem quickly and swapped out the part. He took the time to explain everything that was going on and why. Richard was very honest, easy going, and professional. It's so difficult now days to feel comfortable and as if you're not going to be ripped off. He put our mind at ease and that was refreshing! We will definitely use Richard for all future A/C work or maintenance and we highly recommend him!

I was put in contact with Pinnacle through my Home Warranty. Initially he was responsive during the work assessment phase but then didn't answer my calls, texts, or voicemails after I called to clarify work that he was going to charge me. He ultimately dropped the work order and didn't even notify me, eventhough he accepted the job. It has been two weeks and I still have no AC and now I have to wait for another company to do the work that he assessed. Completely un professional! A simple text letting me know could of saved me some time.

End of December 2022, our 26 year old heating and AC system decided to call it quits. Luckily we had a home warranty and 99% of the cost was covered. Home Warranty contracted Pinnacle Air to do the removal and installation of the new unit. Richard and the team at Pinnacle Air out performed to say the least. They kept us informed as to the progress of getting the parts/unit ordered through the home warranty. They contacted us as soon as the equipment was ready and set up a time to come install. Installation was smooth with no issues, they even fixed the decking the attic unit was supposed to be mounted (old unit was just on the joists) and they cleared out the drip line.
During the installation, they also installed a UV light and cleaned our ducts (additional out of pocket cost). Cost to clean the air ducts was more than reasonable, we were quoted from a "big name" HVAC company in the area for over $2K!
Needless to say, we will be utilizing their services going forward. -
Richard was outstanding! He called as soon as possible to schedule appointment and arrived on time even though the weather was terrible. He was friendly, professional and listened to all my concerns. He completed the repair and had me up in running in record time. Richard even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working well! You don’t receive customer service like this very often. I highly recommend Pinnacle Air, They will be my first call for all of my future HVAC needs.

Richard and his team were absolutely amazing. They helped me with my home warranty company and together, we solved our large AC problem just in time for this coming hot weekend. Richard went above and beyond!
Many thanks Pinnacle Aire! You're our AC company of
choice from now on. -
I am incredibly thankful that I found this company. It was a ridiculous full week without AC and two other companies had come to my condo prior to Pinnacle. They did not know what they were doing and made it seem like I had an unfixable problem. Richard from Pinnacle and his sidekick arrived and had the issue fixed in less than 15 minutes. And they made duly sure that the unit was working and functioning properly before they left (which the other two companies did not do). I am a first time homeowner and I had no idea it was this difficult to find trustworthy service. Richard patiently and knowledgably answered all my questions. I will go straight to Pinnacle going forward.

Richard is super rude. Why would you argue with a customer when they call you because you're late to your scheduled appointment? You sent an appointment reminder text in the morning during a heat wave when our AC is broken. You don't show up, and when called, you argue and say you're not coming because you haven't gotten a service fee from the landlord? Don't work with these clowns.

RichardandJessica Trevino, owner of the AC repair compnay is rude, unorganized and does not keep his word.
Let me break it down for y'all, you know transperancy.
WED - 6/18 | AC Drain line is clogged, I cleaned out the P-trap at the bathroom sink and couldn't dislodge the clog somewhere in the line from the Attic to bathroom sink. No prob, let the pro's handle it. I call and request service through our home warranty company (Fidelity National Home Warranty Co) at 2135 hrs. Within 15 mins, I received a text message from the warranty compnay letting me know Pinnacle Aire has been assigned the service request and that they would contact us within 24hrs to schedule service.
THURS - 6/19 | No contact from the company.
FRI - 6/20 | I called and made first contact with Richard Trevino at 1545 hrs, ref this service request and job. He said he was on a job currently and that he would call later that night once in front of his schedule in order to get us officially scheduled. He said he would fit us in tomorrow, Saturday based on the problem/description of the repair. Never received a call or text that night as promised.
SAT - 6/21 | Waited most the morning to hear from Richard, decided to call him back at 1043 hrs. He proceeded to give excuses for why he couldn't call the night before, something about not ending work until 2130. I told him I was 100% available for him 24/7 and don't sweat calling/texting late (Most of you know I am on call 24/7 and my phone is always on.... and I actually answer all hours.) He then states, he wouldn't be availble to complete our service request until this coming Tues 6/24 (Another 3 days to wait!). He became rude and cut me off when I was trying to explain my frustration with the constant kicking the can and "setting me up for failure..." with the family that is. He states he will right back after checking the schedule.
SUN - 6/22 | No contact/or hard schedule
MON - 6/23 | I called Richard at 2009 hrs to inquire about our scheduled time for the next day, Tues., you know, so we can be available and ready to provide access for him to perform service. UGH. Richard started immediately with the flow of excuses as to why he can't call back when he says he will, can't give us an actual date/time to repair our system and now, oh "I can't get to your place until Thursday this week!" Obviously the frustrated me came out and I had to cut him off. Mentioned I was tired of the unprofessional scheduling, constantly punting of our job and me having to track him down the entire time. He ended with "I wont be able to make you happy, I am cancelling this job." Hung up and within 5 mins we had a cacellation text from the Home warranty co.
TUES - 6/24 | At 0900, I called to let Fidelity National Home Warranty know about the cancellation, failed service request, rude behavior and the need for our system to still be repaired. The company appologized on behalf of their service provider and said they would assign a different company to respond. Received a text message at 0910 hrs assigning Thermal Concepts AC, as our new service provided. Rick with Thermal Concepts sent a text at 0946 hrs asking if Noon-1400 today would work for the service call. Of course we responded with a resounding YES and Rick kept his word, honored his scheduled window and had the drain unclogged by 1210 hrs after ariving at 1202 hrs.
An 8 min job. THANK YOU Rick with Thermal Concepts AC!! -
I needed a new AC system to replace my 23 year old system. After getting a high quote from my AC servicing company, I contacted Richard at Pinnacle Aire for another quote. He had been referred to me last year by my home warranty company to inspect my old system. He gave me a very competitive bid that the other company could not match. After the system was installed, there were some minor issues. Richard responded to my calls the same day and quickly took care of the issues. He is very professional, he listens and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend Pinacle Aire for anyone who needs to purchase a new AC system, or needs servicing on their existing system.

I was dispatched to Pinnacle Aire through my home warranty company. Scheduling was an issue from the start—the vendor exceeded the 24-hour window allowed by the warranty terms to contact me.
When a technician finally came out, they were courteous and diagnosed the problem, informing me that a part was needed and the repair would proceed once approved by the warranty company.
However, a few days later I learned from my warranty provider that Pinnacle Aire had closed the service request without notifying me. They submitted a second opinion request without any communication or explanation, leaving us without AC for over a week.
This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend Pinnacle Aire to anyone. -
If I could give them no stars, I would. After multiple delays, he cancelled 15 mins before the appointment.
Does not return phone calls or texts. We have been without heat for almost a week and this is the second time he has cancelled. Fidelity Home Warranty should not be using them!! THE WORST people I have ever dealt with!!! DON'T USE THEM!!! -
I called them on Sunday evening and explained the issue with my AC. The next morning they arrive at 8am, found the issue extremely quick and informed me what it would cost to fix. I recommend Guajillo Heating & AC for any issue's / Air Conditioning, very reasonable price and fast professional service. Strongly recommend!!
-
Curteous, fast to respond, on time, and thorough. What more can I ask for when I'm sweating without AC in this heat. This is the second time I've used their service and I'll definitely use them again if I have any future needs.
-
Definitely recommend.💯
I always have peace of mind knowing that these guys do their best and honest work . And always patient in answering all my questions and concerns -
Isaac was here for our heater check up before winter weather & as always he was so nice & professional. He also explained that our carbon monoxide detectors should be near floor for quickest leak detection.
-
Your technician was efficient and respectful. He also found a contactor that was going bad and saved me the cost of a future trip.

Always pleasant having Urgent Air Care LLC service our HVac system. They are always professional and knowledgeable of what they do and explaine everything they do and why they do it. Definitely highly recommend their services.
