Our experience working with Zakariah Contreras on the design and with Chris and the landscaping crew, our project came out better than expected.

They were able to start our project early, it was completed on time and within budget. The 3D drawings from the design team compared to the actual finished project came out better than expected. During construction the jobsite was left neat and clean.

Would definitely use them again for any lanscape projects in the future.

I hired Saylee Greer for a complete landscaping renovation including mature plantings, new raised beds, a hilltop patio with stone stair well, raised garden bed area with pergola etc. Chris is the owner, he has been in the industry a long time and knows what he is talking about. He helped solve drainage issues, they also installed a 40 zone irrigation system and complete landscape lighting. We had some HOA concerns as well which Chris personally took care of rapidly. We are still in process with a hopeful job completion date of June, but as we keep adding new things to the job, we may as well build a guesthouse for their workers to live here! . Attached is a pic of the raised garden beds. Once the job is done I will post completed pics.

Chris and Laura were great to work with! He understood my requirements and created a design that exceeded our expectations! His crew was prompt, professional and left the property super clean. I cannot wait to start Phase 2 of my project with Chris and Saylee Greer!

Overall Saylee Greer is a thorough and very professionally run company. From conception and design by Angelina to execution headed up by Scott, they performed extremely well and met our expectations. They were responsive to our wishes, showed up when promised and during our entire long project respected our home and privacy.

Their crew was always pleasant and wonderfully indulgent of our dogs. The foreman Adrian deserves an extra shout-out. He is awesome. You couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, wonderfully pleasant or thoroughly professional individual to head up a complex project such as ours. We would recommend SG without reservation.

Chris Greer came to my residential property that has a difficult sloping backyard and needed a stone fence plus design for a pool and functional yard area. Saylee Greer just finished installing a beautiful cover for our back patio. Chris and Cedar are both great to work with, and they're true professionals. The design Chris came up with was fantastic, and we really got a lot for our money. I'm also very picky about workmanship and quality, and couldn't be more pleased with the finished product.

Honestly can’t say enough good things about this company. I bought an older home with a very large lot and all I knew was I wanted a super cool pool Miami or Vegas style. Chris came out and blew me away with his design! Not only is my backyard now the absolute best in my neighborhood it’s like the pool came right out of a luxury hotel! I love having my friends and family over now all the time. I get so many compliments on my pool and my whole yard. Saylee Greer also did a fantastic job on my double patio as well as my privacy fencing. Would’ve never of come up with such great design on my own. They were so professional. So impressed that once they started my job they were out everyday from the start to the finish, minus a couple rain days which is to be expected. Cedar In the office was always on top of my project and always answered every question. She kept me up to date with what was happening and when things were due. Extremely professional. I’ve never experienced such professionalism from a construction or landscape firm In the past, and I’ve owned 3 homes that have all needed work this was my 3rd pool I e had built. I will now never go with another company. I had They also did my irrigation flawlessly. They did have to come back to adjust a couple heads in my pool island so that every plant gets water but they came back out and fixed the heads. Now it’s been 2 years since my first project was completed everything is still perfect. My plants are growing in wonderfully and my grass is so lush and gorgeous(tip from Chris: hand water new plants the first few weeks even with irrigation to make sure they take well! IT WORKED) I can’t wait to add on to my yard with the second half of the design Chris came up with.

Not what was discussed and agreed on with owner! I waited weeks to get my project started because he had a bigger job that yielded more money I received replacement trees because he couldn't get what I wanted or what was promised. I'm not a landscaper so 10, 30, or 40 gallon plants mean nothing to me. I expected the owner to live up to his promises, but he failed to deliver and sent his employees to deal with me and my questions. My project looks so so, but it's not the "oasis" they promised to deliver. In the end, what I got was silence after he got my check! Not happy and I don't recommend this company at all. It's unfortunate because I'm an easy going person and he took advantage of my niceness!

We have a smallish backyard with many mature trees, as well as two big dogs who like to run and wrestle. This means our current outdoor space is a full on dust bowl because we can't keep grass growing with all the shade and wear and tear from the dogs.

Chris came out to help us figure out what we could do to make this space more enjoyable for everyone (people and puppies). Chris was absolutely fantastic with creative ideas. He was super patient as we talked through and discussed various options. He was upfront about why certain ideas were not being included, and seemed very focused on providing a good balance between form, function, and financials. We are excited to begin this process and can't wait to review the plans!

(4 stars right now is simply due to the fact we've only had our initial meeting thus far. We fully expect our rating to increase as work on this project proceeds, and will edit accordingly at that time.)

We love the transformation of our front yard. The staff did an amazing job, from the design to the implementation. It was well worth the wait.
They came up with an incredible design, listening to & incorporating our thoughts & desires into a plan. We could not visualize it the way they do, so as the project progressed, we became more and more convinced that Chris and his firm were the best choice we could have made. They made every effort to answer our questions, multiple explanations of the plants & their care, keep us apprised of the timetables and make modifications when we requested them. We truly love the overall design and can’t wait for everything to fill in.

The crew was exceptional. They were very respectful of us and our property. The yard was cleaned every afternoon, all demo debris loaded up & hauled away, no trash, plastic bottles, cigarette butts, etc. left lying around. They worked hard the entire time they were here and finished the job in minimal time. The construction supervisor, Adrian is the best. Super knowledgeable. He answered every question we posed to him about the plants, was able to come up with great solutions for a couple of situations (the choice of rock for the walkway around the bed next to the driveway and the addition of the rock bed next to the walkway to help with the erosion) and went out of his way to find a few plants in the original design that were initially thought unavailable (he actually found the Pride of Barbados a few days after telling us they were unavailable, one of the plants we were most excited about having). He came up with the design for the steps at the end of the walkway which looks amazing. And he followed up with a watering schedule and again several weeks after the job was completed to see how the plants were doing.

Communication with everybody was excellent. Very quick response to questions or concerns.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Chris Greer and the entire Saylee Greer team. Our project was finishing off around a pool that we had built this summer where Saylee Greer add a huge garden, fixed our irrigation, leveled the yard and repaired the grass damage from the pool build. The team also arranged some larger rocks that came out of the pool excavation site to add some character to the yard. Communication was great throughout and I cannot say enough about their onsite team. Even when we had a couple of hiccups, Saylee Greer did right by us. Would highly recommend.

We had this gentleman do lighting for us, terrible never did work, gutters also bad, leaked, got at home and garden show. Not good one of his favorite sayings is easypeezi, well not for him. Go else where I urge you. Plenty of people out there.

Great experience with Chris, Angelina & Zac on the design team. The crew that did the project was fantastic! Everyone is professional and respectful. I’ve remodeled several houses and you can always trust that the best build quality from Saylee Greer is the very best. People that work there really take pride in the work; including their office manager, Rebecca! Some things even changed during the build process and the job foreman was astute enough to make suggestions that came out great! We can’t say enough good things about this company! We were even so excited to see the news article written about them in San Antonio Express News during our project! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely use them for services in the future when we get to our next phase in the backyard!

I have just met and had a design consultation with Chris Greer. All I can say is this meeting far exceeded any expectations I had for our introduction.

Chris is engaging and a terrific listener, indulged my own design attempt, and was ready with ideas and a can-do perspective.

Mr. Chris Greer with Saylee Greer was wonderful to work with. From the design to implementation, he and his company were insightful and efficient. I personally enjoy working on my yard and yet knew I needed a professional to help with plant selection and design. Many factors had to be considered from tree trimming to how much sun in the summer the yard would receive. Chris even provided suggestions based upon other homes in the neighborhood in an effort to provide something unique and yet conform to our community. Once the work began, the crews were efficient and hardworking. Their work bordered on my neighbors yard and they were careful to NOT damage any of our neighbors plants or grass. No easy feat when a great deal of 20 year old plants and trees had to be removed. Chris was also very available to meet with me after my work hours to do several walk throughs as the project progressed. Subtle changes were made and handled without a problem. The work done to update my landscape with fresh mulch and decomposed granite was excellent. The crew arrived on time and finished the job on the same day. Everything was left beautiful and clean.
