Although the TruGreen tech was very professional & I have no complaints about him, the Company itself is Terrible at honoring their customers wishes/ preferences that are in their account & have been voiced numerous times. They are at best Disappointing…

The TruGreen techs who come to service my yards are always on time, and work quickly and unobtrusively. They always announce their arrival before they start the job. I appreciate that.
I’ve been pleased with the results.

Last year TruGreen performed an aeration and seeding at my residence. Problem is, they did it during the drought which began in June of 2024 and was officially declared in November of the same year. Although I realize TruGreen has no control over rainfall, they are able to lookout for their customers best interest. After having a conversation with TG management, they made it right and performed the service again, free of charge and they did an excellent job. Everybody wants things done right the first time but at least TruGreen will keep coming back as many times as it takes until the customer is satisfied. Thanks Ben!

Excellent results. My lawn was awful but Tru Green has made it one of the best in the neighborhood. Adan has done great service , he is an awesome person.

I had left an unfavorable review after my last service, and within a week I received a free assessment visit to further address my concerns and offer solutions. The technician provided the missing details needed and now I know what needs to be done go forward. I appreciated the quick follow up to make it better!

Purchased and paid for a lawn aeration from the door knocking salesman. He said it could be done next week Wednesday and that there is over communication about the service. On Wednesday I didn’t hear anything. Thursday afternoon I called and they said it’s scheduled for another 2 weeks. I cancelled and waiting for a refund. The salesman was a great talker, but as presumed before ordering, they are a savvy sales company with an incompetent production department. I thought I would give them a try but I will continue to do my own lawn care. I will not do business with Tru Green in the future.

Our technician, Andrew, was great today. He took care to make sure he locked the gate to our backyard so our pets would not get out. This is very important to us. Andrew is very courteous and always able to answer my questions. We are very happy with True Green and their employees.

I always have a great experience with true green, alway on time good representation great work and fast and it really works I have NO weeds!

My wife and I were with tru green for for over 8 years we had an issue where they damaged our lawn with their chemicals, they refuse to take ownership it took 5 calls to reach somebody to finally come out to our house, when they did they threw brown clumps of fertilizer and a small amount of mulch on the burnt spot, almost a month later my yard still has not grown back, we fired trugreen and we will never go back. Horrible customer service if you ever have an issue. Go local!

Ramiro is a wonderful service tech. We really like him, and appreciate him so much.
No one from Trugreen contacted us to tell us we had a service scheduled today. We were very frustrated about that or we would’ve had the lawn mowed. We are paying way too much money to waste a treatment on something as simple as mowing the grass. Why didn’t anyone contact us or text us and let us know today was our next service? Ramiro is wonderful, but your office staff is not. You always make sure to call us to upsell us on something, but not to let us know when our next treatment is going to happen. Ramiro is giving us half off this treatment, and I am glad.

My grass is looking much better. It greener and I really don't see any weeds growing. I really appreciate the great job that your service providers are doing. They're very professional and reliable and listen to my concerns. Thank you! And please keep up the great work.

This is the first year using TruGreen. At first they were so on point. Then it was to good to be true. Our yard has never looked worse. The technicans we had before were well trained & personable. But this last tech was literally at my home 5 minutes, paperwork & all. He seemed irritated & rushed. I even offered him a water. We told him where the weeds were and he actually killed the grass !! We paid a pretty good chunk for this service & I have also asked the office manager to call me with no avail. Idk wth is going on but this is so concerning I was hoping with my husband's cancer having this service would alleviate him doing it. I have no words except shame on you TruGreen. Ik a few of my neighbors are also extremely disappointed as well. Such a waste of hard earned money.

Despite my own lack of lawn care sometimes, after a year of service they've pulled my poor lawn back from the brink of death. My lawn was installed on the hottest day of the year in 2023 guaranteeing I had no chance of bringing it back on my own. Even with my own neglect, my lawn still looks pretty good. Photos are before and after roughly a year later.

I hate writing bad reviews but after 7 months of treatment my lawn looks the same if not worse than when they started doing treatment. I hired TruGreen to take care of my lawn and so I wouldn't have to but after spending about $90 a month and seeing a bunch of dead patches and brown spots on my yard I had to leave this review. They came out and did an assessment and my last service for free which was nice. But what was frustrating was they said grubs were causing the patches and dead spots yet none of the technicians treated for it even though it was included with my plan. Simply put they should have had this under control before it got out of hand and they dropped the ball. So I canceled my service and will be going back to taking care of my lawn myself again. I will attach photos soon.

The applicator man was professional, thorough and friendly. He came to our door and requested that our dog be taken inside for its safety. We prefer that no advertising signs are placed in our yard. Our 9 month old dog chews them up.

TruGreen’s activity report sent to us indicates that 80,000 + square feet were treated with 2 gallons of chemical. Only the immediate area around our home was treated. 80,000 + square feet seems an excessive amount.

I can’t say enough about the incredible service Mr. Joseph Sanchez provided today. He came to apply fertilizer to my yard, and what he delivered was far beyond what was expected. Every part of the process was done with such precision, care, and respect—you could tell immediately that this wasn’t just a job to him, it was a craft.

Joseph treated my lawn like it was his own, taking time to make sure every inch was covered properly. He explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and left the yard looking refreshed and beautifully cared for. His professionalism, friendly attitude, and genuine pride in his work really stood out.

This wasn’t just lawn care—it was service at its finest. Mr. Sanchez went above and beyond the call of duty, and I’m incredibly grateful. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about doing things right, he’s the one to call.

I have used their service for 3 years, and the quality of service got worse and worse. Several points of complaints:
1. Very poor customer service over the phone. Usually you have to be on hold for at least 1 hour before you can talk to a rep.
2. Representatives usually have no idea about their services.
3. One rep even told me that we cancelled two service appointments which we did not.
4. Weeds are everywhere, and the health of our lawn got worse and worse.
5. One rep asked me to talk to the service technician, so I asked them to call me before the tech comes out. They never called.
6. I left a feedback on my account expecting someone to respond, but as expected, no one responded.

more update
1. someone from trugreen responded to this review and asked me to email them so that they will contact me. I did and still no one contacted me.
2. I eventually went online again and chatted with a lady, and she called me to ensure me that a local manager will call me within 24-48 hours to address my issues. Again, in 3 days, no one called, as expected.
3. So I went online to chat with another rep again, and asked why. He then said an evaluation appointment had been already set up the next day (without notifying me!!), and he also said the local manager will call me the same day. You know what?? No one called and no one showed up for this so-called "appointment"!!!
