Since my last review, Maldonado Nursery has gone above and beyond service. My problem was taken care of in reasonable time. I would recommend Maldonado Nursery anytime.

The rudest lady who answers the phone! I called to ask a simple question about purchasing an item and she cut me off and wouldn't even let me complete my sentence! I tried TWO TIMES to ask my question and she rudely interrupted me each time. Obviously customer service isn't important to them if they have their first point of contact treating customers so poorly!

One of your employees came to my home in Alamo Ranch Summit III. He looked around and told me he couldn't find the master valve and that the water pressure was low which could be caused by a leak

From the first call I made to there office i knew this was the company to go with, very friendly and professional. Thank You Damian for supervising the job and making sure that everything was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this Company!

Landscape crew damaged my car windshield as I was driving by. The stated that they conducted a thorough investigation and determined that they did not cause it and if they did, my windshield would have shattered. I’ve had othe rock dings and it eve shattered I filed a police report. They accuse me of causing the damage myself and trying to pin it on them. I am a retired AF member currently working for DoD. I can pay for the repair, it’s the principle of it. They refuse to take responsibility for damage caused by their staff. This tells me what type of company they are.

I called to have them come out to give me an estimate on my yard. I called them 2X & left message they didn't call me back. I tried a 3rd time and made an appointment 4 them to come out. They never showed or even called. I called to see when they were I left a voice mail - and they didn't call me back. I tried about 1/2 hour later (close to noon) and the person that answered didn't know where the agent was. I told her never mind since I had been waiting 4 hours.

Oh Maldonado Landscaping...they don't return your calls, they take forever and day to complete their projects and when they finally do it's a half ass job, at a ridiculous price. They will mess up your irrigation system and cause you to pay the water company hundreds of dollars...they will own up to it in writing but never offer to repair it and still expect you to pay them. Don't waste your energy and money with this company.

Henry Camacho came out to take a look at our yard and the work we wanted done and said he should have an estimate to us by the end of the week. Friday came and went with no estimate. I followed up with an unanswered phone call the next week, and still no estimate. After a month with multiple attempts to contact Henry and get an update, I have yet to hear anything or see an estimate. In the meantime, I have decided to move forward with a more responsive company that has actually answered the phone and given me an estimate.

Their strength is design and customer courtesy. The finished affect is WOW. So glad I had the front and back yards redesigned for our Texas weather conditions. Thank you for creating and installing a beautiful landscape that complements my home.

Really disappointed in the landscape sales service. We had a quote to add some grade, fix sprinklers and add grass. Agreed to price and signed a contract. The salesman Ron came out a few days later and wanted to add more sprinkler work for $650 dollars just to raise or replace some sprinkler heads. When my husband said he can fix the sprinklers himself, Ron said he wouldn't do the job then. When asked why those sprinklers needed to be done when they were outside of the original work area, all Ron could say was they were essential but could not tell us why they were essential. The salesmanship was deplorable and the sales practice was all about lining their pocket. Now you've lost a $1300 dollar job all because Ron wanted $650 more! We won't make any further purchases here and I suggest you think twice before doing business with them. Sometimes businesses get so big they forget its the community that got them there.

Just had my front yard landscaped and couldn’t be happier. Daniel’s vision (landscape designer), Damian’s overview and purchasing of the plants and Adrian’s direct supervision of the guys makes this a well oiled team. Any issues along the way or changes were dealt with head on and quickly rectified! How can you go wrong with a company that guarantees their plants for 1 year! No other quotes I received would place that in their contract.....not even Maldonado’s New Braunfels! Just remember.....you get what you pay for and with this company, I got more! I will make sure I call you fro my next project gentleman!

Ms. Miller was very quick and helpful in make the appointment for 8am and that is where the positive review ends. Daniel called the night before and left a message, I called him back one minute later and left a message, no return call back. Our appointment was for 8 am, Daniel was a no call, no show. I had to call him at 9:20am asked if he was going to show up, he said he knew he had appointment at 8 am, but wasn't going to make it and he might be able to squeeze us in. How do you squeeze us in, you missed your appointment.

I hired Maldonado to completely re-work my front yard and the results are amazing! The whole process was super easy from design to completion. I highly recommend them!

We have been using Maldonado Landscaping for over 3 years and it has been a great experience. Our homeowners are always very please with their designs and the attention to detail they receive during the process.

Do not use the young female family member "designer". Not only did she create multiple problems for the hard working crew, I had Bermuda grass come up in my rocked landscape that the company had to come back and treat. Now I have nutsedge popping up all over. This should NOT be happening!

Maldonado Nursery and Landscaping did a superb job on my yard. They even drew a plan for me and showed me a picture of what the results would look like. I am very satisfied with everything about this company including excellent customer service. I hope to use again for my backyard.

Daniel Firova and Damian Penny were amazing to work with. Daniel came out to consult with me on a project for my backyard, which was sloped and needed to be re-worked. The sprinkler system drained near my porch creating mold and water hazards. The original grass was a Bermuda that was dead and spotty in a lot of areas.

Daniel put together a great concept that Damian and his team brought to life in less than two weeks. Their team built a retainer wall that drained rainwater into the newly installed St. Augustine. They created natural and artificial drainage systems along with a beautiful landscape that included lots of trees of different colors and hedges. All this at a reasonable price compared to their competitors. Highly recommend this team for all of your landscaping needs.

Working with landscape designer Daniel Firova was both an enjoyable and enlightening experience. His knowledge and insights resulted in the landscape environment we were hoping for. Daniel was very attentive and responsive to our input. We have recommended Daniel to several friends looking for an excellent landscape designer.

This is a commentary on the Chili Cheese Fries. A temp dish. I ordered the medium size with fries "crispy" it came at $4.89.

The dish was hot, the manager brought it to me and recommended I not use any condiments and eat this "as served".

It was delicious. Hot chili made with real ground beef..noticeably meaty chunks in the Chili with two kinds of cheese. Cheddar and Pepper Jack (shredded) covered the top. The first bite was a delight.. I loved this dish.

Please order and eat "as served" no condiments or onions.. just enjoy.

Maldonado has done a fantastic job at our home. We had a complete irrigation system installed and have had minor landscaping. Not just in the physical work rendered but as a whole Maldonado has surpassed and exemplified thorough communication. Every single question or concern was meticulously answered. There was a minor error in a job and Damian made a vast effort in not only correcting the job but he made sure it was also corrected at an accelerated pace. Maldonado has been a textbook example of a job well done.
