Giving 2 stars because they did get my ac working (for a while). August 23, 2024 needed the fan motor for compressor replaced. My regular company could not come till the next week and a second company didn’t show up the previous day. SM Air came out diagnosed that it was the motor and they could replace it for $1055, but they would have to find a motor for it. expressed that I thought that was a lot more than I thought it was going to be, but if they could find a motor, I would go ahead and sign for the repair. An hour or two later, they returned with another motor, not an exact motor a cheaper equivalent. Price stayed the same. approximately 10 months later, the end of May 2025 I have the same problem. This time I called my regular company and waited for them. As usual for them they just came out. Did the repair and left. They did state that they normally like to replace with equivalent motors, but in my case, they put a better motor because they didn’t want to put that cheap of a motor in. A couple of days later I received a bill from them for $342. Did not have to sign stating that I would pay them before they even had the Parts to do the work. SM Air Charged over three times more and it only lasted 10 months.I cannot recommend them after overcharging me and using cheap replacement parts. Sticking with GC out of NB from now on.

Very impressed with SM Air and their service and even more impressed with James Vaughn the technician who serviced my AC. After a thorough checkup he found what was causing my issue. It was very obvious his over 20 years experience came into play and had my unit running in under a hour. I highly recommend sm air and I highly recommend James Vaughn. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again and id recommend SM Air 10 out of 10 times.

Very professional. They show up when they say they are. After dealing with a crappy dealership that installed our unit that was still under warranty for over 6 weeks with no resolution, we had to find another dealer and reached out to SM Air A/C & Heating. They immediately stepped up and got the job done. They are the best.
