We recently had an after hours plumbing emergency that brought Jonathan to our house. He was the best! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, he made sure our issues were solved, and offered advice and how to avoid these types of issues in the future. We will definitely use Jonathan/Able for future plumbing needs.

I called this company at 8 am as we had a waste water clog in our home. They set up a appointment for 12 - 2 pm they arrived an hour late and told me that they would have to add a clean out tap to our system to do the work. I said fine please do so they said then didn't have enough time or parts on the truck todo the job and explained they had other appointments latter that day and would
Have to come back 3 days later to do the work. I said you take appointments knowing you are
So over scheduled as to not do the work. So I called Mr Rooter not only
Did they find the Clean out plug in our system they fixed the problem in 15 minutes. The Able personal are incompetent and apparently don't want to do a job even when I offer to pay to have the work done. I also spoke to the boss Billy and he reiterated what the technician said. It appears this company is just plain lazy and not competent. Thanks Mr Rooter for a job well done. No thanks to Able who made me wait around the house all day for them to give me a bunch of lip service.

Nate and his son did an awesome job repairing a burst pipe in my shop. They showed up when they said they would and figured out where the issue was (hiding in a wall), and repaired it timely with minimal sheetrock cutting. I HIGHLY recommend Able Plumbing! Thank you, thank you!!

Jonathan Theadore arrived at the time Able office advised us to expect him. Our plumbing issues were more complex once my husband & I began explaining various issues with not only the one toilet emergency we called about, but also issues with three other toilets in our home. Jonathan looked at each issue with us and offered suggestions of various ways each situation could be handled. My husband & I decided on a course of action and Jonathan wrote up a reasonable plan of service for us. As Jonathan proceeded through the the components, he advised us of what was taking place. A coworker arrived with needed parts and took away the toilets to be replaced.
We found Jonathan efficient in his work and pleasant to work with throughout the process. This was our first visit by plumber Jonathan T. We appreciate the job training and customer service excellence Able provides their workforce. It is nice to expect and receive quality work.

I don't quite know how to post this. The review buzz keeps directing me to Able Plumbing in Seabrook TX. This is not who helped me . The people at Able Plumbing & Electrical in Chico CA is who the review is for. I worked with Bryan B. He is so professional and friendly. I felt very much at ease with him and his ability to do the job needed, which was to replace my garbage disposal. He showed me all the options and explained ever step along the way of what he was doing. Will definitely use Able Plumbing & Electrical again. If it is plumbing I will ask personally for Brian B. as I did before.

Had a leak in a PEX line in my attic, causing water to drip from the ceiling into my kitchen. Justin arrived timely, took about five minutes to find the leak and made the necessary repairs quickly. After waiting a time to make sure the fix had worked, he departed, making sure that any "mess" he had made was cleaned up. Very pleasant man who helped us avert a real potential problem!

We had used them years ago, for a toilet replacement, which went well. So today , when I discovered water seeping up through the garage floor, I called them this AM and gave them the details of what we were experiencing. They gave me an appt. The tech arrived early, but was only here about 10 minutes. Then he told me that the leak was indeed from under the slab, but they can't do leak detection. Confused? Why did they make an appt for a service they cannot provide? I'd explained that the water was coming up through the foundation this AM.

I was charged $120.00 for them to tell me that I have to call someone else to perform a service they could not provide? The company is calling back now, so may edit my review.

Edit: The company called back, and offered to reduce the service charge by half.

What we thought of $100-150 repair of the simple valve replacement came with a price tag of $540!! We should have done this ourselves. They charged for two workers, charged for time to go back to the shop to get the parts they should have, changed for 1 hour for the glue to dry. Not going back.

Justin M. was here to install a new toilet. We had purchased it on our own, and I would normally do it myself but I have a knee injury. I decided to call "the pros" and luckily we got Justin. He is a true craftsman, and a remarkable young man, very competent, knowledgeable and had a great personality. He was not offended at all by me looking over his shoulder! If Able hires young men like Justin, we will continue to use their service and will recommend them (Able) to others to use their services. We have used Able before and have always had great technicians and service.

Will not use Able Plumbing again. Charged $480 in labor for a simple valve replacement and pipe repair.

Charged for two men when only one was required. Charged for the time driving back to their shop to get a part they should've had. Charged for one hour of letting PVC glue dry. Really.

Was expecting a professional plumber, got a con artist. Paid Able $450 for a job that had to be TOTALLY REDONE by an actual skilled tradesman (non con artist). Nothing like getting ripped off by someone who comes into your own home. Spoke to supervisor "Billy", who had nothing to say. Sad. Stay away from "Hardly Able Plumbing" unless you have lots of money to give away.

I had a problem with my garbage disposal; it had stopped working. I knew it was really old and probably needed replacing. Bryan came to my house and basically agreed with me, but he explained why it had stopped. He explained to me all of my options with equipment and the pricing.
He also showed me how to reset it if necessary and also how to use the disposal properly. He was a very personable and knowledgeable person. I couldn't recommend him and Able Plumbing more highly. In fact they have been my go to company for the last 14years.

Juan came out to fix a leak at our bathroom sink where copper and galvanized met and galvanized was corroding. Did a fantastic job! Very nice and professional. Kept it as clean as possible. 60-day warranty in case of any leaks. Cost less than we expected. We have used Able Plumbing in the past and will call them whenever we need a plumber. Thanks, Able!

Able plumbing provides excellent customer service. We have worked with them twice in the past few months. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to schedule service quickly after the recent winter storm. Friendly, responsive, and thorough. Make them your next call for plumbing services.

This company provides five star service. I have used them to replace a water heater in my house, provide general plumbing services in my parent's house and perform an extensive external drain repair most recently at my residence. Nate is the best. I also met the owner and he wanted my feedback on the quality of the work and expects only the best from his crew and it all goes with a fair price.

Required service was not very in-depth. Plumber seemed knowledgeable and rates were good.

Only 2 stars because the plumber accidentally broke a light fixture in my home. The company would not pay for a replacement and left it to me to fix it. Would not recommend for future work based on how they handled this instance.

I originally enlisted the services of Able Plumbing last week 12-1-21 because of a shower leak in my 2nd bathroom. I didn't have the greatest experience with the 1st plumber. I will not disclose his name; they are aware of the situation. I reported my concerns about this plumber Monday 12-6-21 because the 1st plumber made me pay for an incomplete service and did not follow-up with me as he communicated to complete my project. I spoke with a project manager named Joseph, and he went into action with service recovery efforts. I had the greatest experience with the 2nd plumber named Jimmy. Jimmy assessed my shower stems and valve initially thinking I would need a complete valve replacement which would've been a bigger repair job. Jimmy then stated he would see if their supplier had knobs to fit the stems the 1st plumber installed in order to prevent a valve replacement. Jimmy located the parts he thought would be the appropriate solution to my problem without breaking the bank. Jimmy was honest about the cost of the parts and gave a timeline of when he would have them in stock to come back and perform the repair. Jimmy was spot on with the solution to the leaky faucet in my shower without having to do a complete valve replacement; which could've been the original valve. Jimmy is a great asset to Able Plumbing. I would recommend customers that have a bad experience with one person from a company; this is no reflection of the company as a whole. Notify companies of any valid issues or you are having with someone, and give them a chance to make it right. Able Plumbing made sure they rectified a wrong, and now have the opportunity to address the individual who wasn't as efficient. Companies will not know a particular individual is a problem if we as customers do not inform them and give them a chance to make it right. I knew I didn't need to go to another company because I used Able Plumbing for a toilet repair about 4 years ago, and the plumber providing service at the time was good. Jimmy proved that there are good plumbers existing in these companies who truly look out for the best interest of the customer. I Pray the 1st plumber receives appropriate education. We never know what these plumbers are going through, and this Pandemic in addition to a Winter Storm earlier this year didn't make their jobs any easier. Tried to get warranty service to address a broken pipe. Warranty company assigned Able Plumbing to do the work. Had no water and had an emergency order through them. 72 hours later, no change, and they wouldn't answer the phone. Warranty company couldn't reach them and their other methods were also unsuccessful to get them to do the work. Fortunately, my son's friend's father knew how to fix pipes and it was fixed in 30 minutes, which included the trip to get the right fitting. Not a fan of how long the wait was to get them to provide service.

Was having issues with the toilet. Continued "running". Called several plumbers to get estimate. All of the plumbers, EXCEPT ABLE, told me I would need to replace nearly all of the inside parts. Able plumber was courteous and honest and said I only needed one piece replaced. Worked quickly and my restroom was clean when he finished. I was very impressed. Thanks Able Plumbing!

Amazing, prompt and friendly service. Kevin was courteous and very professional. We just moved into our home and did not have hot water. I called Able and Kevin was here within an hour. He needed to replace the Thermo-couple on my water heater. Shortly after we had hot water. He even gave me some tips to keep my water heater running in the future. Thanks! Will definitely give them my business again!

Bryan diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. He suggested an option that was not the most expensive and fixed the problem. He was curious, friendly and explained what he was doing and why. I was comfortable having him in my home. Before he left he checked my water heater and advised me on how to service it at no extra expense. I am very pleased and should the need arise, I will use the services of Able Plumbing.
