Kyle was timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He gave me six options to help me decide whether to repair or replace my aging kitchen faucet. This is about the fifth time Able Plumbing & Electrical has done various repairs for us. We have been consistently satisfied with their service and products.

They came in significantly lower than Weeks plumbing and were very good on communicating and scheduling with me. I have had them do other work for me and they have always been outstanding. Juan and Ben are both GREAT guys

I don't normally post reviews but felt obligated after my latest service from Able Plumbing. I have already told Able Plumbing by phone that the are lucky to have someone as dedicated and hard working as Bryan Bocks. Bryan went above and beyond on my latest service call to try and fix the problem I was having at my rental property. Aging lines on a my home built in 1929 was the culprit and Bryan did everything humanly possible to fix the situation. His knowledge is unsurpassed and he cared about keeping my cost at a minimum while keeping me informed on the next steps needed at my property. He also just happens to be a great guy.

We had Sewer backup issue Friday night and called all over Galveston looking for an ER plumber. Everybody didn't have a Tech avail. Finally,a company responded and sent a couple of guys. They began the snake,but it broke. They packed up their snake and left!
This morning, we called plumbers off the island, Able plumbers turned out to be the one we will use in the future and refer to everyone.

Time of service was very good as we called Able early morning and they had Bryan to us by noon. Bryan was very courteous, friendly and professional and did an excellent job in taking care of our drain problem. I especially liked his positive attitude and helpful nature. Do not use these people they are scam artists. We called them to have a plumbing issue fixed. They never said there was going to be a fee up front. And when the guy got there, he didn't even know what he was supposed to be doing. Didn't know what we asked for. Didn't even fix the job. Didn't say anything if it was a problem or what we should do. Just considered the job done and left. They just scam to get fees And now they threaten to lein your property right away for something that they were too incompetent to fix and for a consultation that wasn't even done. To have a consultation fee, don't you think you should actually consult with your client about the problem?. Buyer beware with this company.

I have been using Able Plumbing for all of my plumbing uses at the apartment complexes I manage. They have always been available when I need them most and get their work done quickly and efficiently. Cacey has been out more than a couple of times and is very knowledgeable about his trade. He and his helper have dug for hours in the heat to find a leak for us as well as service our residents repair needs with the utmost display of pleasant kindness and education about what he is doing. Cacey is outstanding at keeping me informed of the situation while moving everything forward and will always be who I ask for.

Can't speak highly enough about our experience with Able so far. We first went to them when we had a sewage pipe back-up, which of course was on the weekend. Able was responsive, diagnosed the problem quickly, and we were cleaned out and up and running within a few hours. We just recently called them again to replace our outdated and leaking external taps, upgrading the old faucet hardware. Both regular and after-hours service was expedient, fairly priced, and well done.

Personal shoutout to our service technician Cacey, who we've been lucky enough to have for both jobs. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and he was more than happy to teach me about how the issues were caused, how he was fixing it, and what to look out for in the future. Will definitely be requesting him again for any future jobs! Thanks again Cacey!

We were having issues with our tankless water heater, and we were first impressed that we could get a same-day service call. Bryan A was very personable, knowledgeable and professional, and we were thinking we might need to replace the unit, but after performing a few routine service points and "rebooting" the unit, it not only works fine once again, but we now get hot water to the faucets faster than before! The service call fee was reasonable, infinitely cheaper than a new unit, and I will certainly be asking for Bryan in the future -and recommending him to others!

Fast service to diagnose and repair a solder leak in the attic. Then had them come out again to double check another issue I had with tub and tile caulking

Able Plumbing replaced our hot water heater on July 25 and we are very pleased with the service! Ron called us to tell us they were on their way. They arrived within 10 minutes of schedule time. The price was reasonable and as quoted – no surprise extra costs. The installation time was under estimate. We are very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of Able Plumbing and highly recommend them!

I manage an apartment complex and I've been using Able Plumbing at my property for 2 weeks now. So far they have exceeded my expectations! I have a lot of galvanized piping that needs to be replaced, and leaks that happen without warning. When I contact the office or the project manager, Joseph Linkey, they send out a plumber almost immediately. They give me a fair estimate, and then schedule the work normally within 24 hours. Today, I called them for an emergency, within 20 minutes the plumbers were here, and within an hour the emergency was fixed! Thank you Able Plumbing, you have gained a life long customer!

Excellent small business in the Seabrook area. Had a hose big break off on our main water line going into house. They came out at 8 pm and got the problem fixed quick and for a great price.

Moved into a new home here in La Marque and already experiencing low water pressure and found Able on Nextdoor. Called Able Plumbing for pricing... unbeatable!! They came out the same day and got me taken care of. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber. Thank you Justin for all your help!

I appreciate the fact that they came out the same day to fix a problem but I’m not happy that they charged me so much. The problem was caused from a repair they had done a couple of years ago when we had that big freeze in February that caused a lot of pipes to burst .

At that time, they replaced my old galvanized pipes with pex pipes but they left the old fitting which leaked slowly and caused major ceiling and Sheetrock damage over time. It wasn’t noticeable until recently. I discovered water pooling on my floors and a corner in my bathroom ceiling was wet and so were the walls. I touched it and it started crumbling so I called them out. It’s a half bathroom in the mudroom of my home I never even use.

They were here for an hour and a half to replace a $5 part and charged me $315 in labor. Mind you, I still have to replace all the water damage the leak caused. I believe if they had repaired the issue properly the first time, including using the proper fitting, then it would have prevented this damage.

I have been a customer for over 10 years and this isn’t right. I tried calling the office and they had the afterhours answering machine on at 3pm. I feel slighted. I have no one to talk to to try to get any resolution. I don't expect free service, but I don't expect to be taken advantage of. There should be some warranty on work that has been done.

Anyway, I planned on getting my entire home re-piped next month, and I will now have to reconsider who to give my money to for the work.

Able plumbers have helped us for years and have addressed all of our plumbing issues, including rerouting lines and repiping, with expertise, quickly and very good prices. I trust them and I highly recommend them.

Update: Today Able Plumbers replaced our water heater and an ancient toilet. Did a great job on repairs and cleanup!

Able Plumbing came out to help us and replace a failed water heater last week. Their pricing was a good value compared other plumbers in our area. Their staff is professional, knowledgeable, and respectful - it was a muddy day outside and they were very careful, and we are happy to have hot water again.
