Five new smoke detectors installed, fast and professional. Would recommend! Will be calling Daniel Electric for other jobs later :)

Update: Had the guys come back out a few weeks later to install some outdoor lighting, and again, fast and professional! Highly recommend Daniel Electric for any project! :)

Cody and Christian were great. Their work was neat, professional and they did exactly what we needed done. I have used Daniel Electric 2 or 3 times and highly recommend them.

Great experience. They were the second company I called out and they were able to fix my issue that same day for a fraction of the work and price. Another company wanted to tear into walls and run more wires. Daniel Electric was able to utilize my current set up with a few minor changes. I highly recommend Daniel Electric and they will now be my first call. My Techs (Cody and sorry forgot the other techs name) were communicative, professional and knowledgeable.

Dylan brought his apprentice right on time and they got to work promptly. They were efficient, professional, and explained clearly everything I asked about. This particular project was a main circuit panel replacement and they finished it with a green tag from the inspector before the end of the business day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you need some electrical work done, you’d help yourself by at least asking Daniel Electric for a quote.

Had a Level 2 hardwired charger installed for my IONIQ 5 and these guys did a good job. Super clean work, no fuss. They put in a new breaker, and the charger works perfectly. The whole thing took about an hour and a half. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend Daniel Electric!

We asked Daniel Electric to install a new 50-amp circuit for our kitchen range and to relocate a junction box for our hood into the attic (Job #6055319).

Before they came out, I decided to run a 6/3 cable across the attic and down into the kitchen myself to make the job easier. I also fished a 12/2 wire down into the kitchen for the hood. I secured the 6/3 cable according to code, and the electricians even commented that I did a good job. I left the 12/2 cable unsecured since I wasn’t sure where they wanted to place the new junction box. The electricians mentioned this made the job a lot easier, but we were still charged the full quoted price. I understand that we had approved the estimate, but I expected at least some adjustment since part of the attic work they were supposed to do was already complete.

Since they were here, we’ve found multiple issues with their work. When we had our attic insulation replaced, I discovered that the Romex cables in the attic were never stapled or secured, not every 4.5 feet as required by code, nor within 12 inches of the new junction box. They also left the excess 50-foot 12/2 wire coiled up instead of trimming it to the appropriate length, creating a trip hazard. When I opened the junction box to correct these issues before the insulators came back the next morning, I found that one of the ground wires wasn’t connected with the wire nut. Whether it came loose or was never connected in the first place, the wires should have been pre-twisted to ensure a secure and safe connection.

After we recently had to move our range to replace the gas line, we noticed that the plug wouldn’t sit flush in the receptacle they had installed. We had another electrician come out, who confirmed the receptacle was bent and replaced it.

When the city inspector came out to inspect the unrelated gas line repairs, I mentioned these issues and was told that Daniel Electric should have pulled a permit for the new circuit. They never mentioned that a permit was required, and no inspection was done. We specifically hired a licensed electrician expecting the work to be up to code and compliant with local regulations.

Update: Daniel Electric replied to our review claiming that all work was up to code and documented at the time. We contacted them asking for that documentation but never received a response. Their decision not to pull the required permit meant no inspection ever verified the work. Only a city inspector can determine if work meets code, not the electricians themselves. Daniel Electric chose to bypass the permitting process entirely.

Very pleased with the job these guys did installing a pool light. They were patient and were able to work through one small issue we had with how the light was manufactured. Matt and Mario were fantastic. Punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. A great experience all around.

Great experience. Joe came out to replace some GFI plugs in my garage. Work was performed quickly and plugs are working now.

Joe Veloz was amazing. We called TLC the night prior on an emergency. The garage outlets wouldn't work and our box was running hot. He broke everything down super simple for us and helped us save money along the way. I wouldn’t recommend another emergency service. He even came back out the following day and got the EV charger hooked up 2 weeks quicker than we were quoted by another company and saved us money. Will definitely be using Joe and TLC again in the future.
