Cutting Edge Landscaping did an absolutely amazing job transforming my backyard. From the initial design phase to the final walkthrough, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. They truly brought my vision to life.

The custom water feature is the centerpiece of the yard and was executed flawlessly. The flow, sound, and placement feel very natural and add a peaceful, high-end resort feel to the space. The stone masonry work is equally impressive — every stone was carefully placed, the craftsmanship is top-tier, and the finished product looks both beautiful and built to last.

scheduled an appointment at lunch to get an estimate, drove home from work...no one arrived. I called and was told the gentleman who was supposed to come out was sick. I asked if someone could give me an estimate and was assured some one would be out and would email me the estimate. I didn't receive anything and called back at 5:30pm to see what happened. I was told the person who stopped by my house just arrived and would write it up and send it to me in 30min. needless to say, it's 9:30pm and I haven't heard back. I almost felt like I was begging to give them my business...no thanks.

Follow-up:
The company followed up immediately after my review and said they had made a typo on my email address and sent me the proposal. They were very competitive, unfortunately I'd already signed a contract with another provider. Since then they have responded to a few additional questions I've had and shown excellent customer service. I'm confident my initial experience was a break down in their process and not the norm, I will definitely consider them in the future.

I have been a customer of Highland Landscaping for years. I use them for all of my yard's needs. Whenever I call the office they are polite, helpful, and positive. My yard always looks great! I'm going to continue to use them!

I have heard great things about highland landscaping but I can't get anyone to call me back! I have been on their list to talk to a sales representative since 10.13 and have called 6 times... every time I am told that they will contact me shortly and every time I hear nothing.
I am looking to do a large $15k project so it is their loss in the end but very disappointing when every one raves about their work. Find a new sales team Highland! Or don't promise a customer they will get a call back when you can't handle the volume.

We've been using Highland for at least 15 years now and this is my first time to write a review. Obviously, if we've been clients fo 15 years we have been pleased with the service we have received!
I LOVE my plants, and sometimes I forge ahead and put some things in that do not do well, wasting time and money. When I ask Ian for advice, the things he suggests always work out well and thrive. So I have come to trust Ian and take advantage of his knowledge.
Recently we had a big improvement project done in our back yard and it turned out AWESOME! Ian listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Jason and Leigh are great on-site managers, and the crew that came was friendly and approachable, and did their work quickly and efficiently. The plants that were used were very good quality. Little touches, such as turning a bench a different way and placement of boulders make such a difference!
We will enjoy this new area for years to come and I eagerly await the maturation of the plants and for the area to look even better as things fill in. Thanks Highland!

Highland presented a great design and a detailed estimate. They then came out on time per the schedule and completely ripped the old garden out and built a new garden per the design that looks fantastic. We contracted with Highland to design and install an incredible landscape project in Southlake. We have over 6 acres that they have made look absolutely amazing. The project took a couple weeks to install. They were so professional and helpful throughout the entire job. From start to finish they were eager to make sure we were completely happy with everything. As we all know, new construction can be frustrating at times, but I can honestly say Highland is a reputable company to work with and we wont hesitate to use them again.

It's tough these days to find good people that you can trust. It's even tougher to find them all working in one place. Highland not only made the process easy, but they delivered on everything they promised. They were able to supply us with a stunning design that held up over the harsh Texas winters we've been having lately. A few select plants didn't make it through the winter, and they went ahead and replaced them. Solid knowledge with good, salt of the earth people. Highly recommend.
