I had scheduled a AC TuneUp via Home Depot. Initially, I thought it was $29. But it was $29 per Unit for AC and $29 per Heating Unit. This was not explained by Home Depot or Berkeys. The Service technicain explained it before the start of service. So, a good brownie for him.
Service Technician also gave lot of good education and knowledge. Another brownie point for him.
He probably stepped lightly or accidentally happened to touch the gas pipe in the attic. Something all technicains need to avoid. No damage done but it should be avoided. The technician was otherwise very professional and very informative. The only thing for Berkeys to do is to inform and educate their customers at the time of scheduling that the cost for tuneup will be $29 per AC unit, $29 per Heating Unit. I mean they are the same Unit. Why would Berkeys charge twice and if you do, please set proper expectations with Resident home owners. They don't know until the day of service.

As usual our experience with Berkeys was a 10!

Our rep Gustavo was professional and friendly and certainly competent, enjoyed talking w him.

I dod reference the charge was what I thought a little high, to cut a bolt and take off an old toilet seat and replace w new one.

Again Gustavo was excellent, we just thought the job should have been well under the $200+ charge.

Randy Sitto (plumbing) did just an amazing job! Helped us diagnose a huge leak in an interior wall, repaired it and collected us with the water restoration company. Five star service and support. Will request him again for all our plumbing needs!

We truly appreciated the service quality Jonah provided to us this weekend. Our heater hasn’t been able to keep up with the cold and we did a free quote with Home Depot for Installation to see if that was the problem. Jonah went above and beyond to show us a full scope of our needs to get our heat working. He was honest, transparent, and spent extra time helping above what we expected with the appointment. We now know what our problem is and we aren’t putting money in the wrong places to fix our issue because of his transparency. It’s not easy to find people with his level of “people first” mentality in business. Thanks for hiring a gem!

Our water turned colder on Monday, Berkey’s was out the same day to inspect, and was able to install a new water heater on Tuesday. Great communication and great service.

Chris Kohr from Berkeys did a great job, correctly analyzed the source of the problem and replaced an electric vehicle charger plug that had been installed upside down and had a receptor designed for an electric dryer instead of an electric car which was not rated to handle the 240V and 38 amp electrical requirements of the EV charger and so this wrong plug type was causing the circuit breaker to trip periodically and often enough that I thought the breaker was bad and needed to be replaced. As it turned out, it did not need to be replaced and because Chris accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem right the first time, this circuit breaker we had has been working fine ever since and we have been able to recharge our EV at home without any problems. A less trustworthy electrician might have replaced our circuit breaker when that was not needed so we appreciate and value both Chris's talent and expertise as an electrician but we also value his honesty and moral character. We will be calling Berkey's and asking to have Chris serve us for our electrical needs from now on. We liked his professionalism so much we decided to do a whole refresh of our old circuit breakers in our electrical box because the old one's that remain are over 30 years old and based on what Chris suggested and what we verified on the internet, we can expect these to start causing problems and instead of waiting and reacting and doing them piecemeal one at a time we will choose to have all of the old circuit breakers replaced at once to take advantage of the volume pricing which is about half of what it would be if we do them as they fail. If you have an old house with old circuit breakers you may want to consider taking this proactive step to avoid the problems of an old circuit breaker going bad at the least opportune time. We would not want to have a breaker trip and stop working and not be able to reset it and keep powering our home and HVAC in the middle of the summer or winter. We would not want our oven not working while cooking a meal either like when we have family over during the holidays and birthday or anniversary celebrations. Life happens while we have other plans so we have decided to be proactive instead of reactive. We hope you have the same experience we have had with Chris and Berkeys.

We called Berkey’s for a strange smell and potential plumbing issues with our main drain. Dispatch was quick and detailed setting up our same day appointment, the day before Thanksgiving and Derrick Olwalia was absolutely fantastic in every regard. He respected our home, and us with a completely customer first attitude - and was such a smart person full of solutions and an awesome attention to detail, and not pushy in selling anything to us - we are very impressed with Berkey’s. Oh, the pricing was fair as well - in 2025 THIS MATTERS! This is our first time using them and it certainly won’t be our last if this is any indication…

Last week the shower/tub was combined . That changed to a steady stream of warm water 2 days ago. I have been using Berkeys services for years. They were able to respond the next day. The technician Alex, reviewed the plmg issues, provided an estimate. I also was interested in the new yearly maintenance agreement for combined Plmg/Elec/AC services.
Added a new valve and lever for the shower/ bath, water heater, and replaced the damaged laundry sink.

Just finished winter time check up on my system; Alex was great. Very thorough and answered all my questions. He noticed a minor issue with my air purifier control unit from a previous install (by them) and committed to follow through and get it remedied at their next visit if not sooner. Very satisfied having Berkey's taking care of my HVAC.

Matthew was amazing during his time here. We were originally set up with another company but weren’t getting the issue resolved. We called Berkeys and were able to get help the same day, which gave us great peace of mind. We should have gone with Berkeys from the start, and we look forward to their help and service for years to come.

I initially contacted a tech to come out that was recommended from the manufacturers website. I was quoted for repair of both the motor and capacitor + $80 trip fee. I then reached out Berkeys and my guy Noel immediately told my me it wasn't the motor. He even tested it out before I even agreed to the repair. Long story less long, I should have called Berkeys first. The top notch customer service from the booking process to the follow up text and phone call informing me of the techs arrival, all the way to the super personable (and knowledgeable) energy from Noel was second to none. Proud to say I'm a member of the Berkeys family. You've got a customer for life! [Not to mention saved me $500 on the RIGHT repair]

Berkey called before the technician arrived, which I appreciated. Randy Sitto came out to do my annual water heater flush and was super professional and easy to work with. He even checked all the plumbing in my house without me asking, which I didn’t expect at all, and I really respected that he stayed honest and didn’t take advantage of the situation.

The whole experience was smooth and pleasant, and unlike a lot of other companies, he didn’t try to upsell or push extra services on me. Just good, straightforward service. I’d definitely recommend Berkey and Randy!

I have a great experience with this company and the technician Luis V. that came out to help with our electrical needs. Setting up an appointment was easy and fast. They were transparent with the pricing and offered discounts as well. Setup a work plan from beginning to the end. Once work was completed, Luis dealt with working with the city on inspection approval and with our electricity provider on turning the power back on. He has provided great service and without us having to lift a finger. Truly appreciated his work on this.

Berkeys came out and replaced two of my three units and did a wonderful job not only did they replace the units they fixed my older unit using parts from one of the units that were throwing away. And then about five months later I had them come out and do an annual inspection of the units and it was one of the most thorough inspections I’ve ever had done. And the gentleman they sent out was very professional and took his time explaining everything. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

I had a stopped up tub and bathroom sink. I have use them before for a breaker box issue and they were reasonable, so I thought the service would be good this time too. Boy was I wrong!! A different guy came and this time even though the guy was very kind and friendly, he quoted me close to $2000 which I knew right away that wasn’t logical. It doesn’t take $2000 to unclog a tub and a bathroom sink. So I bought a tool off of Amazon for $10 and fixed it myself. Just goes to show businesses say anything to make money. Again this has nothing to do with the guy that came out, I’m sure he just does what he is told. However, I appreciate the first guy because he was honest and put honesty above everything!

I had a completely new Lennox system put in summer 2025. I had gotten 4 bids for the same system and install. Berkeys had the best price for me and did a great job on the install. I had more insulation blown in and an attic stair installed at the same time. Great, fast work. The system has no trouble keeping my home at 66 degrees even when 100+ outside. Wife is freezing me to death as she likes year round winter inside ha ha

I have always been skeptical about having things fixed around our home but I have to say that Randy with Berkey’s done an excellent job. It didn’t take him very long to install our new thermostat. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I also feel like I know more about the a/c we have than I ever had. I would highly recommend them and would definitely be using them in the future. Thank you Randy @ Berkey’s!

Berkeys came out to help w our AC and exceeded our expectations. Christian Lopez did a fantastic job and was incredibly helpful and kind. You can tell he truly cares about doing quality work. We will definitely be using them again.

Charles was extremely professional and very helpful. He researched my issue and was able to fix it for me in this visit. He also discuss several things with me that I may want to do in the future using Berkeys services to keep my home in tiptop shape. I highly recommend Charles and will use him for all my future plumbing needs!
