Plumbing reviews in Southlake, Texas

I'm so disappointed with this company. They've been out 3 times now and out toilet is still leaking water all over the bathroom. The 4 different plumbers we've seen have each claimed to "fix" the issue, and it lasts a few weeks. Their customer service on the phone is pretty terrible, and they don't seem to care that they can't solve the problem. I would not recommend them at all.

Great team!! Justin and his partner Sergey were amazing. They quickly reviewed the situation, gave options to fix the problems and a realistic time line and price. Surprisingly they finished in under the time frame and under budget! Wow, you can't beat these guys!

Big thank you for not only prompt service but appreciate a company that lays out all the options. Big plumbing jobs are costly and no one looks forward to those repairs. So glad I had Don to advise us. Best experience I've had with a plumbing service ever!

Ben Franklin Plumbing is my go-to when I have plumbing issues. Our house is older, built in the '60s. BF always has that camera to look for the problem, plus they've never failed to have the supplies to fix the problem.

I noticed an outdoor faucet drip when I was putting on faucet covers for the expected freeze this afternoon. In a panic, I called my plumber Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They were here to repair the leak within 30 minutes. The leak would have been disastrous with the coming weather.

Plumber arrived early (they called beforehand to make sure this was OK), diagnosed the problem quickly, accepted CC as payment and was gone in less than an hour, which meant he left just before the original appt time. Overall, quick and painless.

Over $700 to clear a clog. This included $200 just to take his equipment out of the truck. $280 for a new toilet ring. $70 just for them to arrive on scene and attempt to shaft us. I called Master Plumber Rob and got it all done for $175. Beware!

I thought the plumbers were great. Both Justin and Sergey were professional and courteous. I was disappointed however in the equipment they were using to locate my below ground water. After digging 9 feet under my home, no water leak was found. The plumbers however did isolate the line where the leak was coming from. I approved their plan to reroute this line by digging a 15 ft trench along my foundation. Benjamin Franklin needs to provide their plumbers with better, more up to date technology. I was charged $583.00 for "Leak Detection" and no leak was found! I will request a refund of this $583.

Ben Franklin Plumbing was great, removed and installed a toilet quickly, on same day I called to have it done, and the repairman was very professional and did a very clean and complete job. Pleasant to work with. Would use them again for this type of job.

Justin was prompt and courteous. I was able to catch him wrapping up another call near by and he was at my house within the hour. Maby just lucky but I will take it. He was able to diagnose the issue in minutes and communicated the fee to repair before starting any work. The fee was reasonable...when I call a plumber i expect to pay a fee. He even fixed my leaky toilet in the MB for only the cost of a flapper and that was as a courtesy because the real work was upstairs. He even pointed out that there are occassionally coupons on-line and if i pulled it up i could save a few bucks. The bill ended up less than half what i was expecting so i got a few extra business cards to stick on the refrigerator. I will call again.

My water heater started malfunctioning on a weekend so my normal plumbers were in available. I figured I'd try Ben Franklin. Technically it was a great company to work with, they have great perks and the scheduling admin was extremely helpful and courteous. The plumber arrived on time, but when he did, he hardly acknowledged my presence. Very unprofessional. He barely looked at my water heater and said it was broken and needed to be replaced. I am ignorant to water heater issues so I trusted him. He then shows me a pamphlet with 5 options of what I can buy--all of which are extremely over priced. He didn't explain what any of the options were so I had to ask LOTS of questions. Once I signed the paperwork, he was much more friendly.
In the end, it seems like a great company but I think I was stuck with a sub par plumber. Hopefully you'll have a better experience should you get a different plumber with Ben Franklin. -
Water Heater replacement in my attic in Flower Mound. Installers pushed up my roof vent cap and stuck me with leaking roof and $250 bill from roofing company to go on my roof and push the cap down. I called BF and they didn't care, i won't work with them again.

Justin came at scheduled time. He and his assistant evaluated the problematic toilets, then discussed options of repair along with final price. He was very professional, polite, and detail-oriented. It was suggested to delay service on one of the toilets, as the intermittent odor was not present. We were asked to call the next time it is present as it would be the best way to diagnose it properly. I trust his judgment and would recommend this plumber to anyone who needs plumbing issues dealt with.

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing practice! Not only is Dr. Martin one of the most caring and thoughtful doctors I've ever worked with, his staff are full-on amazing and we've never had a bad experience with them. My husband and I are expecting our first and all the anxiety and fear that comes with being a new parent and going through pregnancy is completely silenced when walking through that door. Dr. Martin will sit with you and answer any and all questions you have and you can tell he genuinely cares. His staff are the exact same way, always kind and caring, they're genuinely happy for you.

My water heater thermostat broke and I called Benjamin Franklin for a technician to fix it. They were responsive and quick to show up, but unfortunately they sent a "technician" that was more interested in pushing the sale of a new water heater than repairing mine. They also charge you a visit fee regardless, so thanks for taking my 80 bucks and not helping me at all. Their repair and new heater quotes were way off of market. I ended up replacing the heater for half the price BF quoted (same brand and warranty) with Home Depot.

I chose Ben Franklin Plumbing as the top BBB-rated plumber in my area, and first impressions did not disappoint. Kasey showed me the options for my kitchen repairs without any up-sell sales pressure. Now their company is tops on my list, and I'll be calling them for my other plumbing repairs later.

I woke up to no hot water and called Rockwater Plumbing. They sent a plumber out right away and provided several options. They replaced my water heater and got me up and running the same day! 10/10 would recommend!
