Excellent service, technician Paul called us 20 minutes before his arrival and came on time. He did a great job performing fall service , changed filters, and did the entire service in a professional manner.
-
Fast and friendly service, but charging $400 for a simple 15 minute capacitor swap is outrageous. This company is no different than the rest in terms of price gouging.

Technician was very friendly, thoughtful and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our furnace and gave us a solution. I will always call Hal Watson for all air/furnace needs.

Hal Watson HVAC has been in the Woodlands at least since as long as we have (34 years). They are an honest, reliable, dependable, quickly available, and knowledgeable HVAC company. We always use them for cooling/heating issues and are always satisfied with their service. If you have an HVAC issue, I would definitely recommend them. Found out recently that they offer a HVAC maintenance agreement to keep your units serviced and in top shape.

We have been using Hal Watson for over 20 years. They are efficient and fix problems in a timely way. Justin is excellent. Diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it. Highly recommend them.

We have been using Hal Watson for years. Just had our annual heater checkup.. technician arrived on time and did a very professional job. Changed our air filters and we should be set until spring. We would definitely recommend them for any of your heating and AC needs.

Fast response time. Excellent communication throughout the process. Saved us in the mid-Summer heat.
Hal Watson AC installed our units and they have remained my Service Provider for almost two decades now. -
They have done all our AC and heating service for years. Recently replaced one of our systems. The explanation of our options was excellent. The install was promptly scheduled and completed in less time than was scheduled. Crew was friendly and appeared competent. They cleaned up nicely. We had a problem with the thermostat, but they dispatched a guy to fix the issue quickly.

Avoid at all costs. We were charged around $360 for 2.5lbs of coolant. About a week later, our A/C started going out. Had another company come out and were told we were in need of more coolant. The new company added 7.5lbs for around $360. Hal Watson had no issues charging 3 times the price. When I called to voice my complaint, I was told that it’s because they are a larger company so they have to charge more due to their overhead. Guess we will be sticking with the smaller companies if that’s the case. Horrible customer service.

Hal Watson has serviced us very well through the years. We have replaced both of our units in the past few years. They have been very responsive to our needs and their technicians are very qualified.

Justin was very professional in his presentation and his actions were very thorough and well thought out. I felt like he checked out everything thoroughly and explained everything to me so that I understood it so that I could make a good decision. He did not pressure me and is allowing me time to make a decision. I am older and it would have been easy to take advantage of me but he was very kind and thoughtful.

Hal Watson is always great. Called at 11am, they were here by 2:30, and had a new fan blower motor installed in a little under an hour. Amazing on a day when the feels like temp is 111*.

The technician came promptly on an urgent call picked by their answering service when our unit stopped working. Keith was very professional, friendly and effective. Always a great experience with Hal Watson.

The Hal Watson Technician (George Kizer) was professional, competent, answered my questions patiently, and did an outstanding job. When he left, my air conditioner was working perfectly, he performed a check to make sure everything was working without problems and he also installed a small unit that will protect my unit from power surges. I appreciate having the opportunity to write this review of his performance.

Always fair, always friendly. We’ve been Hal Watson customers for about 35 years.
Always important to get their preventative service check ups. This visit, Thomas was extremely helpful and informative. -
Hal Watson has been our HVAC service provider since 2009. We have always received prompt and professional heating and air conditioning check ups and services. Very dependable!

This morning started off with our Ox and cart both in the ditch. A 10 HP water chiller for our #1 Dry Clean Machine was not working. A desperate call to Hal Watson and by 9:30 Jason was on our roof with covers off diagnosing our problems. By 10:00 our chiller was back on line and everything on schedule. A BIG thanks to Vicky and Jason for a job well done today. We appreciate the quick, professional 5 Star response to our call for help. Paul @ Andy's Cleaners & Alterations.

We are extremely pleased with the service and attitude we have received for the many years of service (probably 30 years). The last service periods we have had Nick as our technician. This has provided not only great service but also a strong quality of service. Any operating procedure has been handled perfectly.

Very pleased with the professional service, quality equipment and pricing. Purchased a complete Trane system as well as duct replacement and emergency repair. Workers were conscientious, polite and knowledgeable. Everyone I’ve dealt with from sales, repair service, scheduling and installation were very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Hal Watson was the HVAC company my builder insisted on using 7 years ago when my house was built. There are 3 Trane a/c units. The evaporative coil on my 3.5 ton Trane unit just went out. Upon researching, the evaporative coil installed for the 3.5 ton condenser had part of the model number marked out and “3-1/2 ton” written on the label. Guess what? It’s a 3 ton evaporative coil. Very deceptive. I was never advised to register the evaporative coils. This is the second evaporative coil to go bad, and because I was never provided with the model number and serial numbers to the evaporative coils, there is no warranty on them. Had I registered them, there WOULD have been a parts warranty for 10 years! Instead, I’m out the entire cost of parts and labor on two units!
Another unit has a leak that cannot be detected using a leak trace. This has been an ongoing problem since we moved into the house 7 years ago. I have an estimate from a reputable a/c company to run a new line set. Cost? $2,300. I’m putting it off; but the cost of R410a refrigerant to top up that system is not cheap!
