Tom and his team were great to work with. He completely redesigned our front and back landscaping, installed outdoor lighting and repaired our sprinkler system. He went above and beyond - was extremely responsive, had fair pricing, helped us decide what would look good in our space and which plants/trees would be best, and stayed on budget. Would absolutely hire him again in the future and would highly recommend to others!

Tom did drainage work installing pipes and drain boxes due to some flooding issues I had in the backyard when it rained. I also had him lay Bullrock in all the flowerbeds and I love it! Working with Tom with easy, no pressure whatsoever, friendly, but professional, and very cost affordable. I would highly recommend Tom’s Custom Landscaping to anyone who needs any type of outside work whatsoever done. I will be reaching out to him for more work in the future!

Tom did a great job on our back yard! It went from having drainage issues and a lot of bare spots due to debris removal to a beautiful, tree-lined back yard. Beyond the end product, Tom deserves 5 stars for his communication and project management skills. He managed our expectations from day 1 with regard to budget and schedule, and was able to deliver in line with what we expected. He happily answered questions along the way and ensured he left us knowledgeable on how to maintain our yard after the project 🤩 will definitely work with Tom again on any future yard projects

Exceptional Backyard and Pool Remodel: Exceeded Expectations and Stayed on Budget!

We recently had our backyard and pool remodeled, and the experience was exceptional. The project exceeded our expectations and stayed on budget, with any additional costs only for optional upgrades we chose. Tom, the project manager, was outstanding. He responded quickly, provided a quote the same day, and started the project the following week. Tom managed everything seamlessly, coordinating with other contractors as needed. He ensured we were involved in decision-making and conducted a thorough final walkthrough to ensure our satisfaction.

Despite initial hesitations about undertaking such a large project, Tom brought our vision to life and more. Throughout the process, we added features like in-ground umbrella mounts, perimeter lighting, and exterior outlets. Tom handled these requests efficiently through his online system, allowing us to approve changes easily. These additions were within budget since they were optional and not unforeseen costs. We highly recommend Tom and will definitely use his services for future projects.

Tom and his crew were professional and prompt. The retaining stone wall, they built is outstanding. Tom is an incredible designer and helped us implement the perfect mini retreat for our hot tub. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him in the future for other landscaping endeavors!

They only want to service Gleannloch Farm. I live less than 10 minutes from the subdivision and they said that was too far for them.

We have a regular schedule for them to come. But they never return your calls if something goes wrong. And if you need further assistance on anything else forget it. I am wondering do they really want our business. I geuss they have plenty of customers and don't care.

Created a covered patio area. Beautiful, more than we could have hoped for. Wes is a great landscape architect with a vivid imagination. We have and continue to recommend.

I LOVED using Native Texas Landscape. Not only did they totally do a beautiful job on my backyard, but included a fountain and garden lights. I love to look at my special backyard which is so inviting!!

Avoid this company as they do not follow through. It cost us over $1000 to replace three brand new ceiling fans/lights b/c they did not use an electrician and wired them wrong and ended up blowing all the motors on the fans. So, $650 for three new fans plus $400 for an electrician. The guys who restained and resealed the concrete used the wrong color and did something very wrong b/c it was covered in air bubbles that subsequently popped leaving pock marks all over the concrete. They were supposed to reinstall the gutters and then have a spout going over the new pergola but apparently forgot about this detail (despite it being in the drawings) and two gutter companies said it is impossible to install now b/c they did not leave ample room. Then today, when this storm blew it, part of our fence completely blew over b/c they did not attach it correctly with the rest of the fence. Communication was non-existent and the building crew got some white cement all over our wrought iron patio furniture. One of the absolute worst contractors we have ever had.

Wes and the guys at Native Texas are the best, i came to them with a rough design and they turned it into a masterpiece. The project had many different aspects to it, new trees, palms, bushes, and flowers, sprinkler system redesign, and a stone paver outdoor shower. Since then we use them for everything, Charlie is a true professional, very knowledgable and always smiling. My dad and brother-in-law had the same experience, I recommend these guys to everyone!

Was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had with a landscaper. I waited a month to get some kind of sketch from Wes and that was after several phone calls to find out where it was. Then when he faxed it, not delivered it to me, it was so faint you could hardly read it. I asked for another copy and to make some changes to it and never heard from them again. I called several times trying to find out when he could come back and discuss changes. Never ever heard from him again. He happily took my check for $100 to draw up a plan on our initial meeting , but could not be bothered to do what he promised thereafter. Needless to say I would never recommend them.

We met with Wes, and given an estimate. We were satisfied and prepared to go ahead to have the work done. For 2 weeks I called, left messages with both staff & voicemail, roughly a half dozen but NEVER received a callback from anyone! In this day and age, this behavior is inexcusable and a reflection on the business.

I had high hopes for Wes and his crew. He missed the initial meeting by an hour, but I know we can all get busy, so I wasnt that upset. After seeing his plan for my landscaping and agreeing on the price, I was happy to hire him. They were scheduled to come out on a Saturday, by 3pm I texted Wes to see why they were a no show. He said “oops sorry” and forgot to call me. Then said he was available the following weekend. I agreed the next weekend would be fine. Well.... guess what... Wes didn’t show up again... I texted him at 1pm and at 3pm .. with no response at all. Must be nice to ignore a $5000 landscape job.. I will find someone else willing to keep a schedule and help me with my landscaping. Please read these reviews... this seems to be a reoccurring theme with these guys..

We have done several projects with Native Texas Landscape and have been very pleased with all facets of their work. Wes, is a true landscape artist and is very creative with what can be done reasonably for your property.

I lost a ton of time and money on less expensive vendors and paid the price! Wes and his team came in and knocked out several projects I had already paid for and received no service. I would recommend Native to any and all which I actually did. I referred them to my neighbor and my daughter!

The landscaping crew and the work they did was good. Every single person at the office is incredibly unresponsive though. They will happily answer and say they will call you back and then never call. Every single time. Once they do attempt to schedule something, they might just show up at a different time or a different day. They showed up to do our landscaping while we were on vacation. We had clearly told them about it too. It's honestly baffling. I would recommend any other company that actually takes the time to do scheduling and customer service the right way.
