Landscaping reviews in Spring, Texas

I hired Native Texas Landscapes to update my front and back yards. They even installed a waterfall! Their crews were polite, efficient, knowledgeable and cleaned up every day leaving the job site spotless. This company completed the tasks at a remarkable pace and I highly recommend the services that they offer. I couldn’t be happier with their responsiveness and professionalism.

Everyone at Native Texas Landscape has been amazing to work with from start to finish. They hold themselves to the highest standards and make sure everything is to our utmost satisfaction. Wes and Sammy, along with all the employees have been very professional and accommodating. Wes’s design of the yard was beautiful and they were able to get our entire yard done in a short period of time. They are very fast at scheduling/completing the work and the finish product was immaculate. We have used them on 3 separate projects and will use them for any of our landscaping needs.

Wes and his crew have been out to my property twice. The first time, they cleaned out a ditch that allows for water to drain from my yard to the retention basin at the back of my neighborhood and replaced a rotted bridge that spanned it. Everything turned out great! They were on time, and very professional, and finished in record time. . I was especially impressed with how Wes handles and talked to his crew. There is a reason they have all worked with him for so long.
Several months later, I had them return to tear out some flower beds and replace them with sod. (One of Wes’ recommendations to me.) Not only did they get it done quickly, but also moved some of the bushes that were removed and replanted them in the front where some had died. They then proceeded to work on my sprinkler system that seems to have failed, so that the sod could be watered. Turns out I needed a new controller, which they took care of, as well.
I will be calling Wes at Native Texas Landscape for any other needs I have in the future and have also recommended him to all my friends!

I called to get an estimate for my front and back yards and Paul responded in less than a day. We set a time to go over what I wanted to do and he was completely open and helpful on what the costs would be and why. Within that framework, he gave me a better education about how to approach my Texas lawn than I had received from anyone else. Generous with his time and his broad experience, passionate about the work he does and the quality he stands for, he’s the kind of professional one rarely meets. I highly recommend him and his approach.

Highly recommend this company. Project completed on time and Waaaayyyy better than we imagined! Our backyard is truly a paradise now!!

Native Texas replaced our whole lawn and built a walkway for us. 100% transformation. We greatly appreciate their work!

Wes and his team have consistently provided great service and plantings around our home. Their outdoor tile work is perfect.
I highly recommend them to anyone who wants worry free landscaping services.

Native Texas Landscape did a fantastic job on my yard. From start to finish, very professional, cleaned up every day after work, and easy to work with. They did so well, that I always recommend them to anyone I know looking for landscaping. They installed an irrigation system, flower beds, trees and a paver patio extension. Later I had them install French drains from my backyard to the front. Works like magic! I will definitely be using them again in the future for more landscaping. You will not be disappointed.

Native Texas Landscapes came to my rescue after receiving no help from numerous other “dead end streets” I had contacted regarding a logistics problem I had with mold/moisture build up due to water retention on the outside of my home. After retirement, I purchased a home only a few streets off the beach of El Jardin Del Mar and the Gulf. Water retention and flooding had been such a frequent irritation over the years that the house had been treated for termites TWICE, as learned during disclosure, even before I had purchased it! As soon as I called Native Texas Landscapes, Wes Hackney, paid me a visit and made a quick assessment of the problem. What he first noticed was, that I had a slight decline grade in my backyard, causing water to be trapped up against the concrete patio right outside the backdoor. When he showed me the decline he exclaimed: “The patio is acting like a dam since it was poured directly up against the backwall of the house.” The diagnosis was as follows: 1. dig out the concrete against the wall of the house creating a “nonconcrete” section between the house and the remainder of the patio; lay decorative flagstones to highlight a short path to the rest of the patio. The flagstones were situated in such a way to enable drainage. 2. Create a French drain (dry moat) engineered to run the length of the backwall of the home, topped with gravel funneling water to a vacant gully outside of the fenced backyard area. 3. Outfit overhead gutters on the back eaves. These “commonsense” measures (which had been completely overlooked by every other company I’d called), only took his entire crew two full days to complete. Best of all, I have NEVER had water retention/flooding/or moisture build up in my house or yard since…and that INCLUDES HURRICANE HARVEY! Remarkable considering that numerous houses in my area DID suffer flooding! Lynn Woods, Ph.D.

I had two blue agave plants and what seemed like hundreds of pups that had spread in our yard and beyond our fence. The crew was very professional. They did an awesome job of removing every single agave plant, including the ones on the other side of the fence. They did a great job of cleaning up as well. Thank you guys. We’re looking forward to our next project with you.

The folks at Native Texas Landscape did an outstanding job on our patio build and our outdoor kitchen and pavilion. The attention to detail from Sam’s crew was outstanding. I would highly recommend then for your outdoor needs and paver install. I’d give them a five star rating.

Wes and his crew did a very good job. Completely designed and installed a new backyard landscape with paths and tropic feel all around my pool. Also addressed some drainage. Crew was hard working and friendly. Follow up from the very first call was excellent and work done in a timely fashion. Would recommend.

These guys did a fantastic job on my front yard. They were all very nice and professional. Took care of everything I needed. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs you may have.

Amazing experience! I interviewed multiple landscape designers. Wes really listened to me, and was able to put together a landscape design based on my ‘wish list ‘ ( I don’t want to see fence, privacy screen from neighbors, low maintenance, evergreen etc.. ). I was extremely impressed that I received the quote on the spot. After reviewing options we chose Wes. His crew (shout out to Sammy) was amazing - my little tweaks accommodated with open arms. We put in a mini putting green and when my husband decided he wanted “Amen Corner” flags the crew came out and made it happen. I have received sooo many compliments from others, t most importantly I am happy. It highly recommend!!!

From start to finish Native Texas was responsive and professional and went above and beyond my expectations. Quality of work was exceptional for each stage of this large project. Will certainly recommend and plan to use them again for another project in near future...

Terrific work! The crew showed up on time and finished the job the same day, even though it was hot (but then, that's Houston!). The before and after photos are amazing! My front walk is now a thing of beauty, not a trip hazard!

Wes and Sammy and team are very likable people. They do excellent and beautiful work at reasonable prices compared to others who do the same work . The only thing is sometimes there’s a delay in follow-up as I have had some plants that have died from the most recent work they’ve done and I’m still waiting for the corrections they promised if you have a situation where some plants die.

Wes, Rett, Sammy and team were all exceptional. From the initial design to the final installation (plants, trees, rocks, lighting, tile work, sprinklers) the team was excellent with fair, upfront pricing! I highly recommend this team!

Wes, Sammy, and team transformed our yard into a beautiful, relaxing space. Wes’s drawings and bids were very detailed. Welcome of the trees arrived I decided I wanted to make a change and Wes was happy to accommodate me. He listen to what I wanted and made my vision into a reality. I highly recommend Wes and team!

Very happy with Antonio’s work from start to finish. He transformed my front and backyard after a pool build.
