JR and his team are outstanding! They've done multiple projects at our house over the past few years and I will continue to call them back out whenever I need anything built.

I had Custom Scapes build an outdoor kitchen on my 4th floor balcony. JR and his team did a great job! JR provided his cell phone and kept me updated throughout the process. The finished product can put amazing! I am very happy with the work and would highly recommend JR and Custom Scapes!

My patio kitchen area & cabinetry, which was not fireproof nor very sturdy was demolished and rebuilt. The new construction is superb and it all looks great. Owner JR is very hands-on and an excellent communicator. 6 stars!

I had the best experience with JR and the entire team from Custom Scapes. He came in and finished our patio space and back entry exactly how I wanted and it blended beautifully with the rest of our existing yard. He was patient, accommodating and got the job done in a timely manner. I will definitely use them for future projects!

Excellent Experience with Our Pool Remodel & Landscaping Project!

We recently worked with Custom Scapes on our pool remodel and landscaping, and the entire experience was outstanding. From start to finish, JR Madrid was professional, communicative, and incredibly responsive. He kept us updated throughout the process, answered every question promptly, and made sure we were comfortable with each step.

The quality of the work is fantastic — our backyard looks completely transformed. It’s rare to find someone this reliable and detail-oriented in this industry. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would absolutely recommend Custom Scapes to anyone considering a pool renovation or landscaping project.

The crew was very professional and extremely helpful in making sure our existing sprinkler system was properly set. They arrived on-time and in one day installed the drainage system to solve our standing water problem. Excellent!

I have been a client since May 2013 and did extensive research before selecting this company to install not only landscaping but a sprinkler system as well. I will have to say, that you when you make an appointment for a certain day and time... surprise.... this company will show up and be on time! I have been pleased with their quality of work and the promises that were made to me for outstanding customer service. Also, I like their extended warranty on the sprinklers they install. Well worth the extra annual fee (very reasonable) to be able to repair and have a worry free system. Nice people to do business with...

I've been with this company for 13 years. Today we had to replace the controller. I continue to renew the available annual service contract. Daniel was prompt and solved the problem in no time (as usual) Thanks for all of your service over the years

Daniel came and made my day! However, had I known what to do, he could have same time, fuel and a trip. My drips weren’t watering because they were closed and all that needed to happen was they be turned on. 😞

Thank you for the Excellent Service! Yesterday was the second time I've called Smarter Sprinklers out in the past 3 or 4 years. They showed up within minutes of when they said and repaired a valve and adjusted a few heads. Their charges were very reasonable. And not having to deal with hassle I've experienced with other contractors I've used makes me really appreciate them. Thank you for doing what you say!

We had our system installed and have maintained the warranty for the past 8 years. However, in recent years, I have not been receiving my warranty renewal via mail and have had to reach out to request to pay my warranty to keep it in good standing. In the past, I have been able to renew my warranty when a service tech has come out to do needed repairs. When I called to schedule a repair for this morning, the office staff was hesitant to renew my warranty as it has been expired for a few months. Again, we NEVER received a renewal in the mail. They agreed to come and look at the problem and revisit the warranty issue upon arrival to our home. We were told that we had to pay $450+ to get our system repaired, and only then would they allow us to pay the additional $239 to re-activate our warranty. Upon further digging on my end, I pulled my renewals from 2015 and 2016 only to find that they had the address wrong on file. Miraculously, we received our renewals for a few years despite the wrong street number; however, this explains why we haven't received a bill...due to their repeated clerical error. When I spoke to Chris this morning, explained the mistake that had occurred on their end, and asked again to happily pay my warranty renewal to cover the repairs, he absolutely refused. In a weak attempt to transfer the burden of responsibility to the customer, he compared my annual sprinkler warranty renewal to my car note or my house payment, saying that I wouldn't forget to pay those and would be held responsible even if no bill arrived. I had to remind the man that my house payment and my annual sprinkler warranty renewal are two very different situations. He also went so far as to say that since Covid, some people just "decide not to pay their bills to save money." I had to, again, inform him that I can't pay a bill that I've never received, and would have paid it had his company had my correct address on file. All in all, the work is adequate at best, the receptionist is friendly and tried to resolve the problem but it was beyond her control, and Chris is one of the most unprofessional men I've ever worked with. Stay clear of this company and save yourself the time, money, and headache. They're not worth it.

Smarter Sprinklers always does a great job. We had their crew out on April 1st for a repair on my mom's house did great, we are happy with the service. Especially Melanie she was attentive with us and make sure we were happy!!!! Would definitely recommend.

Manager Rob and CBS just restored my faith in businesses excelling in customer service! They worked on our entire sprinkler system for leak and pipe repairs and replaced rotary heads and spray heads everywhere. They were thorough and fast and very polite and their prices are very fair! I very highly recommend them and thank them for a job well done!

Really nice job! They made modifications to our original sprinkler system. The work was done well and at a very fair price, and they did a great job of cleanup afterward. You would never have known the yard had been disturbed!
