I received a gift card from my family so I could replace the tree in my front yard that didn’t make it. I had done a lot of research for the tree I wanted and they had it in stock.

The process of looking at trees was pretty simple, since they have so many types and sizes in stock. The sales guy was a little pushy, knowing my max budget he still kept trying to show me tree sizes I couldn’t afford. I ended up spending way more than my already very generous gift card. (Delivery fees, warranties, added treatments)

The scheduling (at the time) for delivery and install was over a month out. Gave me time to prep. The install crew was nice. The supervisor explained everything to me and went into detail about how to use the moon juice they gave me.

I gave three stars primarily because of the following:
1. There was no follow up after my service. Even with the freeze coming (which I was told if I texted they would be happy to help) they responded too late.
2. The watering brochure that was emailed to me was for a palm tree. And when I requested the proper care for my tree I never got an answer.
3. After a year of the tree being installed I received an email asking me to renew my warranty. But again no follow up from the sales staff.
4. They were supposed to (my understanding) come back and check the stakes and tie back. Never happened.

My tree is now 16 months old and the wood stakes and tie backs are failing but she’s still not large enough (trunk) to grow on her own. I’ve been to several stores to find the replacement line that has snapped trying to ensure that she has the support she needs.

While they have a huge selection of trees and Forestry plants I wouldn’t go back if the need arises. The feeling of “taking your money and running” is very present with this location. Customer service and the way you leave your customers is very vital to return customers. They lack the initiative to make the customer feel appreciated.

We stumbled upon Moon Valley Nurseries, such a nice place with a great variety of plants and gardening products. Westin was incredibly helpful, he took the time to help us choose the right plant and gave us excellent advice on how to care for it. Outstanding service and a wonderful experience overall!

We first visited Moon Valley's Spring location in late March. We wanted to update our 3 front flower beds. The Manager of the location facilitated getting everything done quickly from initial site visit, clearing of previous trees & large shrubs, to planting day within about 2.5 wks (during busy season). They have a vast selection and our kids enjoyed selecting/ tagging our new trees. DANIEL with Moon Valley designed and executed the flower beds of my dreams. Daniel was thorough in understanding our vision and presented a detailed design to us within a few days of meeting him. It has been about 1.5 months since planting day and our new plants and trees are flourishing.

Daniel Martinez is very knowledgeable about the plants and trees that we were buying. He recommended the best plants and trees for our location. The package we bought included everything from planting, to fertilizers and a warranty that's unbeatable. I have peace of mind that our plants and trees will have the best chance of thriving and we'll enjoy them for years. Their manager even threw in free shrubs as a bonus. We are definitely happy with our purchase from Moon Nursery.

Wes and his crew at Moon Valley Nursery did a great job getting our new magnolia tree planted just a few days after we picked it out. Very easy process plus they will come out and check up on it every few months.

Jason is very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided great information on what trees would look good in our yard. He also gave educational lessons and advice on trees we already had. We really like that he is up front with what we should or should not buy. And he explains why. We appreciate the truthfulness. We are happy with how the new trees look in our yard!

Wes, and his crew, did an amazing job in planning, suggesting ideas, and giving us great advice for putting trees in our back yard. Job well done, and we are very pleased with Moon Valley Nursery and would definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend them.

Had an awesome experience today at Moon Valley with Troy. My sister in law lost several trees in a recent storm. He birthday is coming up and we thought a new tree would make a great gift! Troy greeted us in the lot and took us to tree I was looking for!! It happened to be the last one of this specific variety (yay!!!) I’m so happy we stopped in today! They have an awesome variety available and some seriously beautiful inventory!! Do yourself a favor, plant your trees in the fall and they will look amazing by the Spring. Newly planted trees struggle in the Houston summer heat. Plus, everything is on sale now. You’re welcome! ;)

We were in the process to buy palms for our newly built pool and thought that Houston Garden center was the place, but not satisfied with the limited selection, small palms and quality my wife mentioned seeing ad for Moon Nurseries in Spring. Wow... the difference was immediate in the selection and quality that Moon maintains the plants. Elena was awesome, professional and patient. We told her our idea of the pool and vision as she walked us through the various palms best for our region, designs and shaped our vision. With the recent freeze I was concerned with upcoming planting date and Elena called to say they would be postponing the planting so that the palms and plants were not impacted by the upcoming freeze and I really appreciated it because we had a reasonable investment. On Planting day Elena managed the design layout, Guz and his team executed a perfectly to the right spots and planting. The team cleaned up and left like nobody had been there. I am grateful that we selected with Moon and the level of attention and communication provided ensures that customer in investing in quality and a relationship with a reputable business.

The money trees and pothos I got from Moon Valley have started to settle in to their new home and they elevate the space beautifully. The best part was that the customer service at Moon Valley Spring was exceptional. I went to 3 nurseries on the day I made that purchase and was quite jaded at the poor experience and/or poor selection elsewhere. When I arrived at Moon Valley, I was greeted right away by Elena and got thoughtful guidance through the whole process. Now I go out of my way to go back there.

Wow! Wes did a fantastic job helping me select & plant this beautiful Mediterranean fan palm! Not many places have the huge selection of larger palms that Moon Valley does, and although palms are pricey, the value is worth it- you get what you pay for. Wes was so wonderful to work with too- super helpful when I initially called, friendly, great attitude, knowledgeable & got an appointment set up right away. When I arrived 20 minutes early, he dropped what we was doing & started showing me the palms they had. He explained the whole process, was upfront with the pricing/fees, gave his opinions about size/shape/type that would work, but ultimately left the decision to me. Bought the tree, set up delivery- he was so efficient & engaged the whole time & you can tell he really loves his job, which is so pleasant to see nowadays, especially with younger folks! He’s mature beyond his years & very professional but fun & friendly also! And I received 5 star service from Fernando & Crew who delivered & planted my palm! They contacted me ahead of time to let me know they’re on the way, worked hard & quickly & they were also super friendly & a lot of fun, teasing eachother while they worked. Fernando does an excellent job managing his crew & you can tell they’re like a family & really enjoy working together. They got the palm exactly how I wanted it, mulched, moon-juiced, watered & cleaned up afterwards, all with smiles on their faces. I will definitely use Moon Valley for all my landscaping needs & will highly recommend Wes & Fernando & team specifically to all my friends & family! 😁 Thanks so much, guys!

Does outstanding work at a fair price and they leave the place the way they found it, they clean up real good after themselves top-notch!

Excellent job done of taking down a large oak tree, grinding the stump and removing all debris. A limb fell and damaged a sprinkler head but Isaias did come back and repair it a few days later so we're happy with Oak Branches Tree Services.

8 business cards were thrown on the ground at my door. Please work on your networking and or advertising if that’s what you want to call littering. Please tell Isaias one card works just fine

These people have never came to do work on my trees but they have came to do work for my neighbors and whenever they do and it’s been multiple times, they leave their trash everywhere in my yard. The last time they were here they had lunch on my lawn and left multiple glass bottles on the lawn. Mind you they are not hired by me but they never fail to make a mess. I always dread seeing when they come by because I already know I have to pick up after them.

Bill Beal's removed a very large, dead pine tree quickly and for a great price. Highly recommend them and know I will get the best service at the best price in future! Thanks again
