Worse company ever i regret doing business with them.
I cancelled with them last year because i moved but the kept coming twice even after i cancelled than i called and explained it was their mistake and the guy i talked too said it shows in their system that i cancelled and it was the technician fault coming out and i though i am done but i still receive calls and msg and emails from them to pay i called again explained but still gets calls this is so annoying i advice any one to think before starting with them they will never leave you after that i asked them to take my number and email off their list and they don’t.

I scheduled TruGreen to treat the weeds in my yard. However, they only spent about 5 minutes fertilizing the lawn and left without addressing the weeds. When I inquired, they couldn’t provide a satisfactory explanation. I recommend avoiding TruGreen and choosing a different company or using a product like Roundup to handle it yourself.

Update:
After contacting TruGreen again, they returned to treat the weeds. While they did address one type of weed, they ignored the crabgrass, which I had specifically mentioned in every conversation. Additionally, they performed an extra service during the same week as the initial visit, which I initially appreciated until I received an unexpected $100 invoice for it. This service was supposedly part of their monthly offerings but was scheduled during the same week as my first appointment. After another call, they agreed to come back to treat the crabgrass as originally requested so we will see what happens in the coming week. If you decide to use TruGreen, be sure to verify what services were performed and watch out for unexpected charges.

Update 2: Javid came out to help me and give advice for the yard. He explained that the crabgrass was treated. It seems the customer service centers may just not know what the different chemicals are for treatments. The weed treatment was done correctly once Javid was servicing my yard and I can already see weeds starting to die.

The Technician provided great advice on how to maintain health of the St. Augustine grass.

Bernadette Green from TruGreen did a great job today and has been doing it also in past on our yard.

The gentleman that came out was super nice very helpful listened and looked at my concerns and address them. These folks have done an amazing job for me and I am super happy with the results.

Tommy provided excellent information to further improve our yard’s appearance. Thank you for your service.

Carlos was our technician for today. His demeanor was very friendly and professional. He provided good advice on how we should maintain our grass. He also assured us he would do everything possible to ensure our grass is healthy and beautiful.

Trugreen does a wonderful job for your lawn. Good results are showing on my lawn already. They have a good feedback mechanism in place and your requests are promptly attended.

Look forward to a yard free of weeds, chinch bugs and fungus. Most of our yard is in good shape. But there are four areas I realized I needed professional help. In that the chinch bugs were winning.
Demarkeus was very informative.
Gave me insights of proper watering.
Can’t wait to see our lawn in several months.

Service was great. Carlos was very helpful and took time to explain what he was doing. Grass is looking great. He will recommend what we need to do now for maintainance and upkeep

Back yard lawn continues to deteriorate despite you seeing it previously

Joel did a great job on our 13/4 acre property. He treated the ditch area outside of our fence. Explained everything he was going to do and made sure all the gates were secured when he left. He also let me know when he was finished and when it would be okay to let my dogs out… very professional

I’m really disappointed with my experience using TruGreen. When they came out for pest control, the technician told me they were only treating the front yard—which makes zero sense considering I paid for full coverage around my home. Then, when they came for lawn treatment, the technician said they wouldn’t treat the front yard because “it would look tacky.” That was shocking—aren’t I the one paying for this service? I signed up expecting complete, professional care, but instead I’ve received partial service and confusing justifications. Definitely not what I expected.

Excellent service always provided, take very good care of our lawn year round.

I ended up canceling my account after only a few months, as like someone else had already said, the technicians do not do the entire job that you've paid for.

I had paid for lawn care, tree and shrub and fire ant treatments - the front yard looks great but in the back yard, the fire ants are still there (I watched the guy spread only the outside of the lawn but not the center), the trees and shrubs in the back haven't been touched by TruGreen (again I was home when this service was performed).

On calling to cancel, they did offer a free remedy and followed up a couple of days later offering a discount however my trust in TruGreen is no longer there and went with someone else

update: since writing this review I find that TruGreen were at my home to do a free fire ant treatment. 1 star to 2

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you have an issue, they will make it their mission to not fix it but do everything they can to keep you on the service and make you waste call after call. Noone from the branch will ever call you back. It's hilarious that they respond to these reviews and act like they plan to do something different given half the negative reviews are about how people cancelled after months of non-responsiveness. I'm sure that if you send a private message though, they are truly concerned and will do something different. Definition of insanity.

The people they send out are a never ending train of brand new employees who don't know anything about grass or weeds or the products they are putting down. The last one that was here told me that everyone else on his route had the same complaints - noone from the branch calls them back, ruined lawns, etc. He actually said that it's probably the product.

I had a nice lawn when I started this service a year and a half ago, it's now the worst in the neighborhood, by far. Shame on me for listening to the customer service agents tell me over and over again how they were committed to making it right and would have the GM of the branch get back to me right away. This is a joke. There is ZERO accountability from this business.

Interesting how there are a number of 5 star reviews on Google but they are rated 1 star on Yelp with consistent reviews to back that up...that's not suspicious at all.

Trugreen has restored my grass that died from the freeze that never recovered. It was mostly a dirt yard. But now it is covered in grass and with the monthly treatments of Nitrogen, Fertilizer, Aeration, and Weed treatments, my yard is free of weeds (especially Nutsedge) sure most of this can be done yourself but I don’t want to be messaging with chemicals. I am happy the service and experience of TruGreen.

Our tech is really nice and professional. Greet me with a handshake and briefly explained what he would be doing today. I highly recommend him in this company. This is my second lawn treatment, in the yard already looks a lot better after the first treatment about six weeks ago.

So very happy with the service provided by TruGreen! I thought I would try it and see what would happen, but these guys are true professionals and I always learn more about my part in having the most beautiful lawn ever with their assistance. Kenneth Miller is so knowledgeable and his advice to me regarding watering probably saved my lawn so that it will look amazing over the hot Houston Summer. Thank you!!

Not worth it.

Never treated my whole yard, failed to address the weeds, pests and fungus. I made the mistake of paying for the year. Had to ask for a refund after multiple attempts to get them to rectify and being promised that issues would be addressed.

Someone finally came out after I fired them, he tried to convince me to pay for more of the same.

Super disappointed. Have had better service from them in the past. But this year, it was a complete dupe. Will never go back.

Great service great communication skills! I love it. They understand any situation just as long as there is communication on both ends and that what we have. Im glad I switched to them
