Called for a routine service call. AC worked fine prior to their routine service. After their routine service, AC froze and wouldn't cool. Charged me an additional $90 to "clean the coils" to fix it. AC still frozen the next day. Called a different company and they determined in 5 minutes the unit was in need of Freon and were able to add 2lbs and fix the issue. Spent approximately $300 with them for them to BREAK my AC and try to upsell me a $10k replacement system.

I first started using Dave's Heat and Air a while ago. The reason why I picked them in the first place is that the actually answered the phone. Since then, they were always friendly and professional. Unfortunately, my system needed to be replaced several years ago, but I couldn't afford it. Instead, I got window units. Each summer was horrible, and this year my wife broke down and said we need to get the central AC replaced. I called Dave's back up and wouldn't you know it, they STILL answer the phone... They still had the pics that were taken, still knew exactly what I needed. They offered me a great price, and a week later I have my new AC. And like before, the guys were friendly and professional.

I highly recommend Dave's for installation and ongoing service for all your HVAC needs. They tell you straight up what is needed and don't play games with prices or try to "upsell" products and services. Honest company with honest service. What a novel concept.

Outstanding customer service!!! They go above and beyond! Which is hard to find these days. I will never use any other company as long as I own a home. This is a sweet and CARING family company. Anyone of them who come out to service or do maintenance on the system is extremely professional and yet feels like my own family. Our ac went out thanks to the storms, and with a small child and adult with health problems in the house we couldn’t wait for relief. Thankfully because of Dave’s amazing customer service and care we were up and running in no time!! From answering the phones the first ring to getting someone out the same day! I have never received such top notched service from ANY other company ever! This is not a company that’s all about the dollar. They genuinely care about their customers and are the best in the business! If u want a company that is extremely knowledgeable, you can depend on in Texas heat, and will treat as good as they would their own loved ones don’t waste time or money with anyone else. Call Dave’s!! ..Oh and get the maintenance plan it’s well worth it! They will come out twice a year and check everything so u don’t have to worry about it.

We had gotten an outrageous quote for a new system from one of the big name HVAC places (rhymes with Dillard's), because they had told us the coil was cracked and such and such regulation changes, blah blah blah.

I wasn't going to sign up for that without doing my due diligence, so I had Dave's come out for a second opinion. Not only was my coil not cracked, my levels were fine and I didn't need anything at this point. I was simultaneously relieved that I didn't need to replace the system and furious that there's a company out there preying on people with high pressure sales and scare tactics.

Dave's is the only place I'll trust to call from now on, and the only one I'll recommend to others.

Woke up to no heat on the coldes weekend of the season so far. Called Dave’s and they arrived within the hour. Our technician diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it and was out of there within no time. Fair price and great service.

Our AC/Heat unit was not responding to our thermostat, we were totally lost after checking everything we knew to check. Cameron to the rescue!! Within two hours of our call to Dave's Heat and Air, Cameron was here to assess and correct the problem. I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone! Thank you Cameron and Dave's H/A!!

Called this morning for AC unit repair and Cameron was able to fix it by noon. Thankfully he was able to come sooner than expected! Very happy with the service he provided. Highly recommend!

I have used Dave's twice and been extremely impressed both times. Everyone from making the appointment to the technicians are skilled, very professional and nice. They will be my AC/Heating Professional from this point on.

I have used Dave’s for several years. They installed a Heat Pump in my parents house, have had four or five service calls over the years and they have been a good resource. I needed my condensation lines blown open . I have had it done several times in the past. Different company. They charged me $100 once and $150 a second time when both lines needing cleaning. This included servicing the units. Today I paid $322 for a tech to blow open both lines. It took less than 30 minutes. No further services, just blowing open the lines. I won’t be calling Dave’s again. So much for customer loyalty or customer appreciation. They were quick to get there and the job is completed so there’s that. I just feel $322 for 30 minutes is a little steep.

I can't recommend any company more than I can recommend Dave's Heat & Air. Their service department went above and beyond to fix, and help me fix, our furnace during the coldest week of the year. Cameron and Tyler were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them in the future without hesitation and will recommend them to any and everyone.

So I did change my rating from a 1 star to 4... I did call on Easter and they DID answer and they DID REMIND me of that at every turn.. as if this was a some kind of a favor... You decided to answer calls on Easter so you treat it like any other day of the week. You did not do me any favors, period. I had a cheaper quote by more than $2K to install my new system but I decided to go with them because they're somewhat local company and I like to support small businesses. I must honestly say that Cameron was best to deal with because you Rhonda and David have a somewhat argumentative approach and no paying customer likes to be lectured. Cameron was a deciding factor for me here and I doubt I'd feel same way meeting the owners. I have been in a customer service oriented businesses for the past 35 years and I find it problematic.. Just saying..

I called at 6:30pm Thursday and they were able to fit me in on Friday. The tech arrived at 9:30am and had my ac up and running within 30 minutes. We are so happy with their courtesy and promptness. Their communication was great and they were reasonably priced. We will definitely use them again and I recommend to everyone! Thanks for the great service and experience. Dewey
