I want to let y'all know about the amazing customer service/support I received from Tyson (Jonathan). I was ready to leave the company, but have no reason to now that he checked out all my equipment and fixed all my issues. Now I don't have any problems with any blue science technicians. Thank goodness for Jonathan Tyson taking care of us and making me feel more confident about my service. Thank you so much!!!

Blue Science has been cleaning my pool for over a year now, and Jordan D is my fantastic pool tech. He always texts when he's on his way, and does a great job cleaning and maintaining the pool.
The field manager and repair crew have always been quick to take care of emergency situations that arise as well. Highly recommend.

The pool cleaning service here in The Colony is fantastic. I’ve had my pool for a while, and the technician comes by every week without missing a visit. Everything is always spotless, and whenever I have a question, I get a quick response. I wish every company offered customer service as good as this.

This pool service should be named "Green Science" - both for the state my pool was left in, and the additional charges they are quick to add for any repair call.

I paid for full service with this company, and they left my pool green for over four weeks in a row. Within the past four weeks, their techs left the pool green the three times that they showed up. Their tech did not show up at all for fourth week. It takes them weeks to recognize if repairs need to be made, notify you, and offer to repair it at a high price.

The "free additional algae treatments" are a lie - I have never seen them come for additional treatments despite claiming they will.

The repair charges often tack in additional surcharges like a $49 "purchasing and delivery fee" for the materials they need to perform the repairs, as well as separately charging labor costs for every individual repair actions.

I urge anyone considering Blue Science to find another, more reliable service instead. They've already cost me a month of summer pool time this year due to their terrible care in addition to the money I've paid them. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Save your time and money and go elsewhere. My husband and I called this company because we needed to get our pool treated and also get a filter clean.We call this company and the sales guy is trying to sell how wonderful this company is and how long they've been in business and asks us immediately for our credit card without having done any services yet. He tells us someone will be out the next day to clean our pool. Get our filter clean and get us going. What he doesn't tell us is that he's going to charge us that same day without getting any work done. The next day no one shows up and my husband calls at 5pm and the guy is telling him your next im coming over at 5pm. After given specific instructions to call us or let us know what time they were coming so he can meet with them and talk to them. Save your money don't hassle with this company.

i've been using blue science for pool service for over two years and i'm really glad i found them. the technician is very honest, reliable, and always shows up when scheduled. when i first reached out, my pool water was green and i'd tried a few other companies with no luck, but this technician got it looking clear in no time and for a fair price. you can really tell they have lots of experience, especially with bigger pools. every week, i get a text after the service is done, so i always know when the pool was cleaned. if there's ever an issue, like the filter needs cleaning or something needs fixing, the technician lets me know in advance and always gives a reasonable quote to repair it. on top of that, when my family was going through something tough, they checked in to see if we needed anything extra. i definitely recommend this pool service if you want someone dependable who does a great job.

Just got onboarded with Blue Science Pool Services and Sam was really helpful. I'm doing the weekly cleaning service with them, and Jeremy is our guy. Very oriented to detail and our pool is perfect blue. So worth it to let the professionals take care of the pool and Blue Science as a whole is great. I'm lucky I was referred to them.

Blue Science is always quick to respond whenever there’s an issue with my pool equipment. If something breaks, a technician comes out right away to fix it. Their pool cleaning service is excellent too. If I’m ever not completely satisfied with a cleaning, they’re happy to send someone back to make sure everything is perfect. Great service overall!

we were in a difficult situation when our last pool contractor left us hanging in the middle of our pool remodel. remodeling a pool can be stressful, especially in the hot summers here in The Colony, but luckily we found chris and his team. chris stepped in, communicated clearly with us every step of the way, and took control of the project. the crew worked quickly and efficiently, kept the area tidy, and installed beautiful sky blue plaster that really makes our pool stand out. chris also explained potential future issues so we could be prepared. after waiting to swim, we noticed a small problem with one of the pool tiles not being grouted properly. we sent chris a photo, and he came back right away to fix it and made sure everything was perfect. really appreciate the great service and attention to detail.

I’ve have been using Blue Science for general pool cleaning and some other work, and honestly, they did a decent job at that. But when I decided to have them replace three small pool lights—which cost me around $3,000—I was really disappointed. They told me these new lights would be better than my old ones, but after installation, they turned out a lot dimmer and barely lit anything. Worse still, when I called them to ask if there was any way to adjust the brightness or fix the problem, they never bothered to call me back. So unfortunately, I can’t recommend them for anything beyond basic

the technician did an amazing job with draining the pool and cleaning the tile and rocks. everything was finished right on time, and the clean up was super thorough. i'll definitely be telling my pool friends in The Colony about the great service from Blue Science. really happy with how it all turned out!

As first-time pool owners, we hired Blue Science Pools in May 2023 for weekly maintenance and quarterly filter cleaning. While service started strong, it became inconsistent over time—we had seven different techs, with only one (Angel from Oak Cliff) providing thorough care. Others rushed through visits, some staying under 10 minutes.

When our pump failed during a February 2025 week-long freeze, BSP quoted $1,200 for a motor replacement. I bought the same motor online for $338, o-rings, seal kit and everything and installed it myself in under an hour—saving over $900. After nearly two years and $6,800 spent, we’ve learned pool care isn’t hard if you’re willing to learn.

I've cleaned our D.E. filter and it takes me 45 minutes to thoroughly rinse the elements. I don't understand how BSP can clean the filter in 20 minutes or less during each visit. Forget about soaking/spraying the elements with muriatic acid as they claim!

New pool owners: Get yourself a Taylor pool test kit, then check out Swim University, Inyo Pools, or Trouble Free Pools before signing up for pricey services. If you hire out, get multiple quotes and read the fine print.

I have been using Blue Science for years and they have done a great job maintaining my pool. The company is seamless with billing and regular services. If there are any issues my technician Nick Reinhardt is always on top of it and really communicates with me to get it taken care of. He is very friendly and knowledgeable.
