My refrigerator stopped working, I called GIR and they came within 30 minutes of my call! The repair was quick and now it’s working great! The repairman was courteous and explained the repair needed.

Dimitri took care of our needs promptly and gave a complete assessment with great recommendations and options for our dishwasher leaking. He was also able to quickly resolve a lighting problem with our built in microwave. GRI will be our first call for any home appliances in need of maintenance.

Derek was skilled and efficient. He diagnosed our Thermador refrigerator door problem quickly, gave an estimate by text and returned the next day with parts to repair. He also cleaned inside the fridge motor box for free! And also fixed our sink disposal button at the same time. Great job! Highly recommend and ask for Derek.

Dmitry did a great job repairing our Viking refrigerator. He first came same day that I called. Accurately diagnosed the problem and after ordering parts came next day to do the repair so we are now getting our refrigerator back quickly. Derrick was wonderful! Although it was the evening before Thanksgiving, he patiently explained our options for repair and also spent time to advise us on how to maintain all of our other appliances. His number will definitely be saved for future repairs if needed.

Dmitri did a fantastic job on fixing our refrigerator that was not cooling on the low end, electric stove that had issues with the switch and dryer that had issue on heat pump and line clogged.

Derek was great! He really knows what he’s doing and, more importantly, he’s honest. He took the time to explain what was wrong with our washer, what parts he’d be changing, and even encouraged me to look things up myself so I could feel comfortable with what I was paying for. I really appreciated how transparent he was about everything.
While he was here, he also offered to diagnose another appliance (included in his visit) and even cleaned our dryer vent for a very reasonable price. He showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and was super easy to talk to.

GIR Appliance dispatched a very professional technician named Dimitri to repair my stove. He was very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. He answered all my questions direct and showed me what the problem was. He had to go purchase a part, gave a frame of how long it would take for him to return and was very punctual. GIR Appliance Repair was excellent. Derek arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly and easily. He even helped with a small extra fix that wasn’t part of the original repair. Great service all around.
I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Derek agreed to look at my coffee machine even though it was not a brand that he worked on. He diagnosed the problem, and was able to find a suitable replacement part. However the cost for the part was fairly expensive, so he recommended not doing the repair, which is what we were leaning toward. I really appreciated the assessment and his honesty in not trying to force us to make an overly expensive repair. Very honest service.

I called them to check my washer & dryer, because they were making noise. The young man was very professional. He particularly took the whole dryer apart to find the issue. He kept me updated and we discussed different options. I know my w&d are up in years, so the best option would be to get a new set.
