Larry Parcell was very professional and thorough with my roof inspection . I discovered a water leak on a ceiling in a bedroom and called to have my roof inspected for damage. He and his assistant not only examined the location of the water leak in the room, but investigated further, to determine if there was a leak in my attic. To my great relief, it turns out that some tile was lifted around a roof vent which was most likely the issue. The lifted tile was secured down with already existing nails which hopefully solved the problem. Time and being watchful will tell. He was so helpful and professional, there is no doubt in my mind that should another issue arise regarding roof damage or need for replacement, I will definitely be calling Home Team Roofing.

Mike and his team were excellent from start to finish. They helped me through the insurance process. The day of installation, they showed up on time and got to work covering plants and my pool. After completion, they swept up the nails from around my property and the street. I would highly recommend this local family operation

PSps. Making the review in my phone after sitting in the yard and staring at my new roof like a dufus, and having a couple beverages throughout the day. Apologies for any typing errors.

Used the recommendation and the website to set an appointment for monday morning. I had noted the insurance adjuster was coming Sunday at 10 Am, so was happy and surprised to get a call Maverick gave up his weekend to meet me.

This was very important during the eval because insurance was going to initially deny the claim until he climbed up there with the adjuster to point out some things, which resulted in a new roof. (I didn't have trees fall through it, but shingles were ripped off, some 'zippering' all over, and such.

Had it scheduled for three weeks later (could have been a little earlier but had to send the insurance check to my mortgage company to cosign).

Maverick kept me in the loop the whole time, always responding to my OCD planning texts within a few minutes. He said they would be there, starting by 6am on 9/7/24; on the day I had to hurry out of my pj's as the crew was here at 5:30 (saw them, they didn't knock early).

Anywho, the important stuff

The crew did awesome.

Tarps around every part of the house, as well as completely over the pool.

Very careful not to damage my extensive landscaping when they ripped off the old shingles.

Hammer checked every square inch of the decking, and would cut out a 24x24 square and replace if they found the smallest soft spot.

Put on the new shingles to where my overly critical eyes couldn't find an error.

Installed ridge vents, which they didn't have to, but will save on cooling.

Painted every roof pipe and bit of flashing to blend in; vs my old ugly aluminum flashing.

I should note now, Maverick stopped in several times to check on the progress, make sure all was well, and even ran to pick up an new roof/attic vent when one I had was kinda sketchy.

They finished around 7, but spent another couple hours picking up every scrap, nail, or miniscule piece of trash. I had a roof done before, and probably picked up a coffee can worth of nails the next day. I'll be sure to post a pic of the 'huge pile' (sarcasm) I found after walking the house for 45 minutes today. Will post a pic what couldn't even fill one hand.

To finish it off, Maverick showed the next day (again adjusted his schedule to come in the afternoon) to do a quality check. I made sure to get more of his business cards since a couple neighbors have already asked.

I guess their/ or his / policy is to also come by 30 days after just to make sure nothing is wrong.

Okay, that's about it. If you read this far you can see I'm a fan, but will note I have zero relationship or interest to the company. Just very happy that I'm going on about how great it was, and not worried about trying to get some other cut rate contractor to fix things for the next few months.

My decision to engage The Home Team Roofing was as a result of a neighbor's very positive experience. They had been denied a replacement after filing a claim following a major Cypress storm. The Home Team presented them with the fact that the insurance denial was not the end of their options. My neighbor moved to the appraisal process and the independent appraisers found their roof to be a total loss.
As it turned out, my roof took a hit from a later storm so I too called The Home Team Roofing. Almost the exact same story took place. I went through the insurance company's denial, and The Home Team was outstanding in presenting insurance with all the subsequent damage assessments. The Home Team knew from experience that my roof would require a full replacement. Just like my neighbor, I took my claim through appraisal and received a new roof. I knew from the start that this was going to take many months to play out, and my Project Manager, Victoria, was such a terrific help along the way. I cannot recommend Victoria enough for all her persistence as she worked tirelessly on my behalf.

We had an amazing experience start to finish. Kim helped us schedule and Chris followed through and made sure everything was smooth sailing from then on from insurance meetings until post clean up follow up. We will definitely use them for all future roofing needs!
