The staff was very helpful. Their knowledge about the product helped me in my decision on what to purchase.

Top-notch service, hands down. Very easy to work with, fair pricing, and prompt responses. Happy customer here!

Mitch was excellent. He knows the equipment like the back of his hand.

Great customer service and prices! I use them for all my pool needs. Chemicals and parts. They have it all!

Unbelievable service! I went in with a technical question about a product. I was having a hard time finding in the ladies there dug in and got me the answers. I have been to three or four different pool stores and nobody could find me the answers I needed. It’s about a 30 minute drive for me to use the store but totally worth it!!!

Used their service for a rental house, there were many times they didn't show up but still charged me. Never vacuumed the pool. They cleaned the filter and pored the DE in the front of the house which caused the front curb to stain white. They also forgot to add more DE to the filter after they cleaned it. Spoke to the owner , she said all the pool guys were new and inexperienced. Don't use them, look elsewhere.

Shows little regard for the interest of pool owners, putting personal gain ahead of customer needs. Disappointing experience with clear lack of accountability and service integrity.

INSURANCE SCAMMERS, Avoid this pool service by all means we are a business owner as well, so here’s the scoop, we had a shaft, seal go out on our pump, we called our insurance company. It goes to a portal and then gets picked up by a company, our luck. It was picked up by champion pool services, they came out in a timely manner.. however, the shaft seal continue to leak, but not by a lot after only a couple of days we figured that could just be residual water well after 60 days, the shaft seal failed, so I contacted Champion pool services, and instead of backing up their work, they want us to file another claim with our insurance company and pay the deductible, I asked them why they don’t back up their work, and they said if we would have been a retail customer, they would back their services for three years, but since I went through my insurance company, they only back up their work for 30 days. How does this make sense? That if I did not go through my insurance company, they would warranty this shaft, seal for three years, but going through my insurance company they said only 30 days, I spoke with the office manager her name is Jen.. I repeatedly asked her just to do the right thing I said, it’s not fair that you would back up this job for three years. If I did not go through insurance, how does that work? And I said why do you need to get paid again for doing a job just two months ago that failed? It means your technician did not do the job properly, and it should be covered, we proceeded to argue for the next 15, 20 minutes over this, this company does not know how to do the right thing or to handle the situation, and they obviously have technicians that Bumble their way through jobs, and if it’s through an insurance company, judging by this job, they have figured out how to take advantage because they said they get hundreds of jobs per week, I wonder who’s pockets are getting lined.

Removed my former review because there is another company called Champion Pool Service, but they are based out of Plano. Champions PoolRepair & Service in Spring is a different company entirely. I mistakenly left a horrible review for the one in Spring by mistake, but am now correcting this error. Be sure to not mistake the two if you are leaving a review. The one in Plano is HORRIBLE, as evidenced by their reviews, and Champions Pool Repair and Service is not to be mistaken for them. It seems this mix up happens often. Apologies to Champions Pool Repair & Service in Spring!

Great service! Saved us thousands after 3 other companies quoted us total replacement of our heater. They fixed it for way less and it qualified through our home warranty! Highly recommend.

We had services with this pool company for 10 years. Today I was told they would not be back out because I called and complained too much. Our new pool service tech was coming out for 5 or 10 minutes and not brushing or vacuuming. I'm home most of the time watching or our security cameras verified this. The pool tech said our pool grids were broken and that's why our pool was so dirty. We took them up to the pool store to have them inspected and verfied none of them had damage that would cause this debris in our pool. The pool chemicals were rarely balanced, and this time were 40% balanced. Me and my small children have a severe chlorine allergy and it was too much work for them to keep it low for us this summer. That's what Amanda said to me today when I called. We paid them $220 a month for their monthly pool maintenence services and had every right to call them when there was a problem. Which was a huge problem for them today. I called when their service techs weren't doing their job. As a business owner I would appreciate my customers letting me know if my employees were being dishonest or not doing their job. I'm insulted to say the least that their opinion is, I'm the problem and too picky. We paid for them to clean, balance chemicals, and maintain our pool. We expected our service tech to come out and do a thorough job and he wasn't. This pool company was great for many years but they have sharply declined.

We've had so many fixes and spent tens of thousands of dollars employing this company. It's so insulting to have a service quit because they can't get it right and therefore we're the problem. We've given them every opportunity to make it right, to be honest, to be accountable, and this is how they repay our loyalty when we stuck with them through every mistake.

If you're looking for a pool company for maintenance this is not it! Keep shopping. If you need repairs. Buy your own parts because they will charge you double. I'm sorry, they won't install the exact same parts bought from pool stores. Be prepared to pay hundreds more than what the parts actually cost. They are greedy, lazy, and ungrateful!

Thank you for ending our services Champion Pools and Amanda who is awful at customer service and defensive! Juan you should have your own company because you are the only employee who is honest and does a good job! You and Jim really helped us throughout the years and I'm sorry your other employees are not up to your standards.

We wish you the best and pray you find competent employees in the future.

Stay away from them. This company is not trustworthy. They inspected a pipe that is 25 years old and told my warranty company that its deterioration was not normal wear and tear and the warranty company denied the claim. At the site the tech told me it was normal wear and tear. 15 years and done with them so clear it is normal wear and tear and they say it is not. That pipe has been there for 25 years and has never failed but just broke due to wear and tear so why would they disapprove it?

Absolute scammers. I trusted you Jim. You all did not clean the pool per the false invoices you all sent. I am working on getting an attorney now. This is absolutely wrong.

The receptionist is also very rude. I would stay away from this company.

You not sorry. You are wrong for what you have done and it still doesn’t account for the massive amount of stress your company has put me through that was unwarranted. Stop with the generic responses and tell the truth!

The Work was not performed and you all also took money from the person that sold the home and the heater is not operational, you left it there and took over 1500.00 from me. The receptionist is rude. Your supervisor Juan stated you all lie and say you perform services and do not. That is what you all did to me. I watched your pool guy sit in his truck for over 30 mins, left and reported he performed services. You also left buckets of chemicals and bleached my patio in several areas. I had to pay someone to dispose of the mess you all left. You all are absolute crooks!!!!! God does not like ugly. He will repay you all for your evil deeds.

4th of July RUINED by poor maintenance. Photo shows the green pool on the 4th of July plus their "maintenance" tags. Clearly someone was not doing their job. Since their techs are coming out and charging for visits and leaving the pool in this state, no one should hire this company EVER.

I bought the chemicals from them and I cleaned my pool on my own, I hired them for the full service during the summer, it is worth mentioning that the guy who gave me the service was very kind but when I questioned him because they had double charged me in the second month he told me that I should talk to the office.

I was attended by an employee who said was the manager, she told me that they had cleaned my filter, I explained to her that nobody had notified me that this service was going to be carried out because I had already bought new filters (not installed) since they were broken.

She showed me a photo of her phone that was supposed to be my filters (dirty) but I don't recognize the place as my house, nor did she show me a photo of them clean and she told me very angry and arrogant that the service had already been done and although it was her fault for not having sent me a previous email as they do with everyone, and she stated that they would no longer provide me with the service, I told her that I wanted to talk to the owner and she only limited herself to say that the owner didn't have a personal email were I could contact her directly, only the general email of the company that is the one that she manages.

Definitely, if the owner is not aware of this, they will end her business with a terrible reputation, because it is not possible for them to deceive you and kick you out!

Stay away from these people while they are still running that business!

We have used Champion Pools for over 15 years and have always been thrilled with their service. When there is an issue with the equipment they provide quick cost effective solutions. The pool is always sparkling and with the salt chlorinator we are thankful they monitor the salt for us. If I could I would give them 10 stars :)

These guys have been taking care of our pool for years, and recently we decided to get the pool replastered, as it was 20+ years old and needed it. Jim and his crew came out promptly and within a few days we had a freshly replastered pool that looks way better than it did originally. These guys were fast, on time and efficient. Good price too. Definitely recommend.

I originally contacted Pinch A Penny in Tomball/The Woodlands area to upgrade my equipment to the IntelliCenter due that they are an authorized dealer for Pentair. I had spoken with several other companies who were not nearly as informative as the owner (Diego Izarra) of Pinch A Penny. Diego is an engineer and possesses significant knowledge of the intricate components of pool equipment. Diego was able to trouble shoot several problems which will help my equipment to run better in the long run. I now use Pinch A Penny to monitor my equipment electronically and I use them for my weekly pool service. They are very professional and provide immediate response. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Diego helped troubleshoot my pool heater and had the parts needed to fix it. I would recommend this location to anybody. Go see them for pool parts, chemicals, and service!
