I was recommended Pinch a Penny from a friend for monthly pool services and they have been absolutely amazing. They have always been professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Any time I have needed a repair they took the time to explain the repairs needed, answered all of my questions honestly, and completed the work quickly. My pool looks and runs better than ever, and I will definitely continue using them for future service and repairs. Highly recommend!

9:20 am on Saturday and they are not open, despite the sign in the window that says they open at 9:00 am on Saturday. Oh well, off to Leslie’s.

Mr JC is the owner of the franchise: a fine gentleman. We had some major structural faults with our vinyl pool liner, it was leaking badly and the pool became unusable. We despaired, and the pool fell into green-slime mode. I didn't have the money for a major repair, but Mr. JC called me up with an idea for a solution. He hired out a worker to take a concrete saw to the cement skirt around our pool. They found and repaired the leak, and Mr. JC set up payment terms for me. Pool looks great now--- highest marks.

I went to Pinch A Penny to see if they had any Pentair Inteliflo 3hp pumps for sale since there were no other vendor that had any in stock or would even take an order. JC and Janeth were so helpful and incredibly were able to secure a pump at a good price. I am grateful for their efforts and also to the technician who installed the pump. Very professional team so now I am buying all my pool supplies from them. Thank you for becoming the new neighborhood pool store.

Same experience as Zack. Sign says opens at 9 … it’s 9:10 and no one is here. Update your hours so we don’t waste time driving down when it’s not open.

I came in to see if they had a replacement part for my Polaris. Associate went on and on about how I should purchase a new cleaner. She made zero effort in helping me find it or even offer to order it, being they are an authorized dealer. At least do what your website advertises you service. I was apparent I was not going to be assisted after I made it clear that I was not interested in purchasing a new cleaner. I will not be returning to this store

I have been to the store a few times and have always been greated with a smile. As someone with a background in chemistry, I can say that the owner is very knowledgeable about his products and makes solid recommendations to correct and maintain pool water chemical balance. When I needed to replace my 15 year old pump, he came up with a great option that I am very happy with. He also threw in a heavy dose of liquid chlorine to keep the algae at bay while we waiting for the pump to be delivered. The installation went very smoothly. I will definitely be purchasing my pool supplies here in the future.

Made appointment. They never came for quote or called. Tried again on line and no one has called when they advertise they will contact you within 48 hours. Would not recommend them. Would be very hard to trust them.

Very attentive and always professionals!

I went into the store with the intention of buying a new vacuum. I was the only one in the store and none of the three employees in the store could even acknowledge I was there, let alone help with buying a vacuum.

I turned around and left and drove a little further down Kuykendahl to Leslies, where they quickly helped me out with a new vacuum and ironically at much cheaper price than this place.

The owner and his wife are knowledgeable and trustworthy. They personally rescued our pool after a different pool guy I hired stop showing up and we had algae in our new pool!

I brought a water sample from my pool and Juan Carlos tested it and taught me what everything meant (for free). He is a great teacher. Once he saw how bad our pool had gotten, he personally came to my house that same evening and started the process of shocking and restoring the levels to what they needed to be.

Over the next several days either he or his wife personally came out after hours and treated our pool at no additional cost. I just signed up for a weekly cleaning (at a reasonable price) and they did the rest.

Thank you both! We are back on track now.

The weekly service is also excellent with an email sent to me every time with a picture of my pool and details of what was completed that day. Wish we had come here sooner!

Very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a client for 9 months and love this place. They analyze my water and only tell me which chemicals I really need and my pool looks great. The owner, JC, is a great guy.
