This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They sometimes answer the phone and if you are lucky to reach someone they will lie. They also owe me money. I am looking into getting a lawyer. Do not do business with these people.

They didn’t apply for the HOA approval before installing. And now I have to apply for the approval and pay the fines. Worst of all, I can’t get any help from filing the HOA application, they are not responding to my emails at all
Update: after a few weeks they gave me the files. However, the panels are not installed according to the site design. Not sure why this happened, either the workers didn’t follow the design or they give wrong design to the workers.

Great company to work with, my electric bill was reduced to nothing, for two years I have only received a bill 4 months and am now receiving a complimentary panel washing.

"He straight up lied to you." This was the reaction from a lawyer when I briefly explained my situation and read her an email exchange with the salesman.

Over my interactions with ASRA, I've been ghosted, belittled, maligned, and baffled. I've been lied to multiple times and told I don't understand the meaning of phrases like "all required hardware", "no additional hardware", and "plug and play".

They are currently back in ghosting mode. I've texted, emailed, called, and even sent letters without the slightest acknowledgement.

Avoid at all costs.

I got a new roof and solar panels through affordable solar. The system is great and they got the roof replaced and solar panels installed within a month. It can take take awhile for the govt to complete their inspections and issue it's permit but affordable solar had the system up and running within 2 days of getting the permit

Scammers. System produces 48% of what they told me it would. They employed a combination of misleading sales tactics and outright lies/fraud. I have been reaching out and calling them for a year asking them to give me what I paid for and they continually ignore me or tell me they are working on it.

After looong search and multiple meetings i decided to go with Affordable solar to get my PV system. If solar makes sense enywhere it should be in Texas. First i connected with Tommy. Very knowlegable guy. He was patient enough to answer all my questions and go through numerous scenarios. I ennded up puting 35 panels and two enphase batteries. After few weeks i got a phonecall from Justin, that they were ready. Next day pannela were delivered and installed the day after. The whole process went so smooth. Cody, Justin and Chad - big shout for them. The system was energized three day after and till then it is producing like crazy. On top of my loan, my next projected bill is $5-6, so at least so far everything works as expected. The batteries make huge difference. I have an ev so i opted for free nights plan. The Affordable offered the most competitive price, installation and connection went very smooth so if you are on the marke tfor pv system give them an honest consideration, From my perspective they are definitely worth it! And did i mention enphase app? Very intuitive and user friendly!!!!

I’m a current customer for Affordable solar. I’m so happy with all the post sale attention, that Raul the technician and Justin have given me. These are the type of personnel that make a difference between a bad company and good company. I extremely recommend Affordable for your next solar project as they never leave you in the dark about anything and are there to help you at any time. This amount of care is exactly what we need as customers.

BUYER BEWARE!
The install went smoothly and the panels seem to be working fine BUT they promised to make my first 6 payments. My 4th payment is due shortly and I have yet to receive any money from them despite multiple text, emails and phone calls to the salesman (Jose) and the office manager - BUYER BEWARE

Update: It's now 3 days after last contacting the office and was told I would have a tracking number for the replacement check "within the hour". Still no tracking number and still no check.
I did receive a series of texts from the salesman whining about the 1 star review. ATTENTION MANAGEMENT- The job is not done until ALL of the promises are kept!

Now 12 days since the "office manager" told me I would get a FedEx tracking number "within the hour".. Today I was told it has to be approved by Jose (salesman) and of Jonathan (his boss?) AND they are both out of town at a "leadership conference". (LOL) and would be back next Monday. Pathetic, BUYER BEWARE!

I am just very unhappy with this company right now! Definitely think twice before you decide on them. I have read some other reviews and they just rave about them! Boy why did we get the short end of the stick! We have everything installed and only produced power for a few days . But cannot run a/c less than 75 degrees. Cannot use my dryer. They come out do something and now no production! We call and they have too many other installs that they come first. So in the mean time we are using electricity and we will be getting a solar bill in a month. Just definitely not happy!

Overall, I’m happy with choosing affordable Solar to put up my panels. When I have called them, they respond quickly and dispatched someone same day. Project manager and field have been communicating with me step by step in the process. Justin and Cody thank you for your help!

Affordable Solar has done a great job installing my panel. The whole process has been a breeze. Their pricing is very reasonable and affordable just like their name. Our sales rep., Anthony is professional and knowledgeable. He made the process seem easy for us. And Carlos went above and beyond by making it to my house at 7PM to startup my system so I can start earning energy credits ASAP. I would definitely recommend these guys.

I’ve had panels with this company for over a year now, Once they get your money, they stop responding. Was told by two of their own technicians that they incorrectly installed my panels because they hired the wrong people to work on my house and had my panels fail several times. My panels were not operating for over four months last year and I had to repeatedly beg them to come out and fix my system. I’ve been trying to contact them for two months now about getting reimbursed and they refused to pick up my call or call me back. I’ve been calling them every single week since December.

Absolute worst company I've had to deal with. 2 month job took over 6 months to complete. Roofing job is mediocre, and not sealed around vents. Electrical cuts off randomly at certain parts of the house. They changed the solar panel layout while installing, then promised to install 2 extra panel to compensate, but 3 months with no reply. One of the breaker boxes installed on the house is not sealed and had INCHES of water sitting in so that all needs replaced. Avoid this company at all costs because the customer service is the worst I've ever seen.

Constant power outages and they said they’re busy and can get to me after the holidays.
Enphase came by to replace a part and said Affordable Solar Air LEFT PARTS OUT! My system is literally missing parts and has not been commission for the almost year it’s been running.
5+ panels either not prior icing or produce less that half of the rest.
Even at full production we’re not getting near what they promised.
Avoid at all costs.

We recently installed a solar system from Affordable Solar, Roof, & Air and are satisfied with everything. Everybody from start to finish were awesome. I wasn’t a big fan of solar until Dave educated me on the net-zero concept of locking in the electrical costs of our all electric house. It made sense because I have little confidence in our power grid and future energy generation. The cost of electricity will definitely go up. Blake turned our system on and bang it was producing electricity. I was impressed by his knowledge of the system installed and he took the time to explain every aspect of it. He knew the business top to bottom. It’s too early to know the financial benefits of the system but ASRA guarantee the results. It has been a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend Affordable Solar, Roof, & Air.
