Constraction reviews in White Settlement, Texas

SR1 replaced our roof, reset our fence including replacing posts, re-stained our shutters, replaced our gutters and downspouts, and painted a side of our house. All the work was done professionally and quickly. SR1 was patient and understanding when there were check endorsement issues, and helped us through the process at every step. Highly recommend!

Cody Miser and his team at SRI Roofing did an outstanding job with the new roof and all the miscellaneous damage from the hail storm. They replaced the gutters, window screens, outside lighting, repaired and stained the portico. They even painted the fixtures on the roof when I requested. Cody went the extra mile to find the color of shingles we chose. It was a relief that SRI Roofing handled the scheduling of all the repairman involved in getting the job done.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with SR1 Roofing! They replaced our roof, installed new gutters, stripped and re-stained our fence, and replaced several torn screens—all in record time. The quality of their work was outstanding across the board.

From the start, communication was excellent. They kept us informed every step of the way and delivered exactly what they promised, right on schedule. It’s rare to find a company that combines speed, professionalism, and such high-quality craftsmanship.

Highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable, efficient, and top-notch service!

Easy to leave this review! Great experience with expectations explained, understood, and not only met but exceeded!! Andreas was in consistent communications throughout the project and they adapted to a couple of unexpected findings in stride and never missed a beat. This is 3rd roof we have replaced and this was the first time our expectations were exceeded!! Bravo SR1 Roofing!! Well done!!

Great company to work with! Trevor was knowledgeable and professional, and so easy to work with. His team was phenomenal - they arrived early, worked hard, and finished the roof replacement on my house and shed more quickly than I thought possible. They tarped everything, cleaned up after the work was completed, and were friendly. And the roof is beautiful.
I highly recommend SR1 Roofing.

We are very pleased with the roof, trim color, gutters and down spouts. Cody Miser was very thorough in explaining the process, His communication was great, letting us know dates of different installments, giving us tips along the way on how to prepare. He and his boss sat down with us and had a very honest and thorough conversation about our options. They were patient while we picked the colors and materials we wanted. They verified before the work was done those were our final choices. We will most definitely use them in the future. Before cream color after trim SW9175 Deep Forest Brown, gutters and down spouts Rustic Copper, Roof shingles Brownwood.

Cody Miser and SR1 Roofing did an amazing job on my roof replacement. They were the ultimate professionals from day one. They walked me through the insurance process, showed up on time, did a great job installing, and cleaned up like they were never there. Bonus points for not damaging any of my wife’s plants. Bravo! I hope we don’t get another hail storm like we did, but if we do, I’m calling Cody at SR1 Roofing.

Like many others in our area, I received damage to my home from a hail storm earlier this year. SR1 was very easy to work with, right from the beginning. Cody was super friendly, accommodating on my requests and fast at times answering all my questions. He sent me updates regularly, and made sure I was satisfied with the work once completed. They replaced the roof, gutters, garage doors, light fixtures, window screens, painted, and stained/painted the wood/metal fencing. It was so convenient for me to have SR1 coordinate all the jobs, and I am very happy with results. I highly recommend SR1!

Hired to build out a shop for our warehouse. Completed on time and fair price. Definitely use them again for future projects.

I’ve worked with Frank and the rest of his team at Shelton Construction on the design & construction of over 100 homes since 2017 and they’ve been great! I’ve referred several of my friends, family members and clients who have all had outstanding experiences.

We couldn’t be happier with Shelton Construction DFW! They recently completed a remodel on our home in East Texas, and the quality of their work was outstanding. We have used them for numerous projects on homes we’ve owned across the DFW area, and every single job has been superior.
Most recently, they finished a beautiful patio for us, and it turned out even better than we imagined. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism from start to finish were top-notch. They are dependable, communicate clearly, and always deliver exactly what they promise — often exceeding our expectations.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled construction company that truly cares about quality, we highly recommend Shelton Construction DFW

Shelton Construction has done a great job with a couple of projects for us in the last couple of years. While they normally do full home projects, Frank and the team organized a complete repaint of our home back in 2022. As part of the process, Frank suggested adding a wood topper to the front porch railing which added a classy look to the house. Little did we know we would have a pipe burst in the wall and flood our hardwood flooring downstairs during a Christmas Eve freeze just a few months later. Shelton Construction agreed to take on the process of taking up the warped wood and redoing the hand-scraped downstairs flooring that runs throughout the entirety of the first floor. Shelton worked with us as the insurance company was withholding funds due to an inaccurate initial assessment by the insurance adjuster. During the middle of that repair we noted some signs of a leak in the attic from an unrelated issue. Shelton helped us isolate an AC drain pipe that had been partially chewed through by a rodent leading to a slow leak in the attic that had gone unnoticed until the damage to the Sheetrock on the ceiling. Frank and his team helped us repair that apart from the flooring work. Shelton construction has been very easy to work with and has been responsive during each of the projects. The pictures attached are a warped floor pic followed by installed flooring prior to the application of stain and placement of baseboards. They worked hard to replace our wood floors to their prior level of beauty. We would highly recommend Shelton Construction for your DFW home projects.

When me and my wife wanted to build our forever home, we interviewed with six different construction companies and was about to give up and move forward on our own until we came across Shelton Construction. From day one their team was professional, meticulous, and showed a great deal of attention to detail. Frank Shelton was also very patient as we were very demanding on what we wanted with myself being handicapped and needing an ADA accessible home. There often were times when Frank went above and beyond to explain to us what they were doing as the project progressed. When you’re dealing with new construction, there are thousands of small decisions that have to be made. Frank’s team not only made them, but included and explained them to us along the way. They also made many recommendations for things that no one else thought of. For example, making a slight adjustment to the concrete forms to allow sloped thresholds on the large garage doors to make wheelchair access more accommodating. The whole process was seamless, within budget, and of the highest quality. With all of the self-proclaimed custom home builders out there… I’d recommend Shelton Construction over any of them for anyone who is planning on building a custom home and wants it done right the first time.
