We used the services of Mean Green Landscaping for river rock installation to help with rain water erosion, sprinkler repair & new sod installation. Their staff was responsive to all requests and they finished projects promptly and accurately. We recommend them highly!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mean Green on a backyard project that included a yard clean up and new shrub/tree install. I was pleased how it turned out and so are all of my guest. We had to veer off the original plan a little bit (my fault) but MG had the equipment and personnel skillset to make it seamless. I will be using them in the future.
The below is what really impressed me about this company:
*Showed up on time/detailed plan for work with pricing/communication from the start to finish.
* The office was responsive with any questions that I had.
* Showed up with new material to do the entire project. No waiting for anything.
* All of their equipment from the trucks to the shovels were clean and in good working order.
* The project manager stayed until the job was almost completed. This ensured everyone was on the same page. She was knowledgeable about all things landscape.

Hired to build out a shop for our warehouse. Completed on time and fair price. Definitely use them again for future projects.

Shelton Construction has done a great job with a couple of projects for us in the last couple of years. While they normally do full home projects, Frank and the team organized a complete repaint of our home back in 2022. As part of the process, Frank suggested adding a wood topper to the front porch railing which added a classy look to the house. Little did we know we would have a pipe burst in the wall and flood our hardwood flooring downstairs during a Christmas Eve freeze just a few months later. Shelton Construction agreed to take on the process of taking up the warped wood and redoing the hand-scraped downstairs flooring that runs throughout the entirety of the first floor. Shelton worked with us as the insurance company was withholding funds due to an inaccurate initial assessment by the insurance adjuster. During the middle of that repair we noted some signs of a leak in the attic from an unrelated issue. Shelton helped us isolate an AC drain pipe that had been partially chewed through by a rodent leading to a slow leak in the attic that had gone unnoticed until the damage to the Sheetrock on the ceiling. Frank and his team helped us repair that apart from the flooring work. Shelton construction has been very easy to work with and has been responsive during each of the projects. The pictures attached are a warped floor pic followed by installed flooring prior to the application of stain and placement of baseboards. They worked hard to replace our wood floors to their prior level of beauty. We would highly recommend Shelton Construction for your DFW home projects.

When me and my wife wanted to build our forever home, we interviewed with six different construction companies and was about to give up and move forward on our own until we came across Shelton Construction. From day one their team was professional, meticulous, and showed a great deal of attention to detail. Frank Shelton was also very patient as we were very demanding on what we wanted with myself being handicapped and needing an ADA accessible home. There often were times when Frank went above and beyond to explain to us what they were doing as the project progressed. When you’re dealing with new construction, there are thousands of small decisions that have to be made. Frank’s team not only made them, but included and explained them to us along the way. They also made many recommendations for things that no one else thought of. For example, making a slight adjustment to the concrete forms to allow sloped thresholds on the large garage doors to make wheelchair access more accommodating. The whole process was seamless, within budget, and of the highest quality. With all of the self-proclaimed custom home builders out there… I’d recommend Shelton Construction over any of them for anyone who is planning on building a custom home and wants it done right the first time.

Rockin J had done several jobs for me over the past decade or so from wiring my new builds, rewiring my demos (which takes patience and creativity), as well as, several agricultural projects. His team is always incredibly professional and patient with me and my progressive ideas lol. We use Plumb Shield for all of our plumbing needs. The service guys have all been prompt, honest and reasonable for each repair. Today Terry and Damien came out, and they did a phenomenal job. I had a stubborn leak issue with my outdoor faucet that was wasting water. Terry and Damien showed up right on time, took one look at the problem, and got straight to work.

They were incredibly professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. No guesswork — they explained everything clearly, fixed the root cause quickly and cleanly, and left the area looking spotless. The brass faucet they installed looks great against the dark siding and is working perfectly with zero drips.

What really stood out was how courteous and efficient they were. They treated my property with care and made sure I was completely happy before packing up. If you're dealing with any plumbing leak or outdoor spigot issues, these are the guys you want!

Nathan and Damian installed a brand new water heater for me. My water heater started having issues on the weekend, and I scheduled an appointment for Monday. Monday my problem was diagnosed and I was set up for a new water heater installation on Wednesday. Nathan and Damian were both extremely professional and knowledgeable and made the process seamless.
