I contacted P&L on a holiday weekend not expecting a reply. They responded the same day, provided an estimate and scheduled the work, air duct cleaning. The techs at P&L were wonderful! I will use them & refer them as well.

Sending my request to a sub-contractor and having him call me back a month after I called to place the initial request is not a great way to start earning my business. I guess they focus more on entire roof replacements rather than repairs since that's where most of the $$ is.

Had some minor damage after 70mph winds last week. Josh made some quick repairs. When I asked how much it was going to cost, he said NO Charge. You don't here that very often. Highly recommended.

Top shelf company. Did a through inspection(inside and out) and found the source of my leaks were related to other contracting trades, not roofing. So they did not make a "sale" but they have a customer for life in me for roof repair or new roof needs. I recommend them highly: Integrity to the max in Eddy at Pirate Roofing.

After attempting to climb onto my roof to fix a few loose shingles (which I failed BTW), I was referred to Pirate Roofing by a neighbor of mine. Joshua came out to my home and got me squared away without a hitch. Their demeanor, professionalism and approach has won me over for sure. Recently, I noticed some zippering on my shingles from recent storms. Jon came and evaluated if worth a claim, and it wasnt. Gave me a quote promptly, and worked our house in his schedule for the same week. Would not hesitate to use their company for any of my future needs.

This is very important to read and understand, I have known the owner for a while, he is full of integrity and honesty, this man is Texas old school hand shake i will do what i say kind of guy period...
I had 3 different roofing companies come out and tell me after inspection that my roof wasn't leaking and it's my AC inside the attic, how is this possible as I only get leaks from my roof when it rains really hard? Every single time hard rain and water coming in from ceiling.... so frustrating...
So anyway I call an AC company (licensed) and they tell me the AC isn't leaking but it's not running efficiently with the ducts so I have them all replaced $2200
Pirate roofing comes out, finds a roof vent, takes it out looks inside and sees where it was leaking, repairs and fixes and guess what? NO MORE LEAKING wow please use these guys they are thorough and honest... can't say enough good things about the company and the owners Jon and Tammy...

Great company, delivering great service. Storms from the past few years took a toll on my roof and I had missing shingles i needed repaired. I called Pirate Roofing to evaluate and give me an estimate, they advised me to call the insurance company and setup an inspection to see if there was enough damage to the roof for a total replacement. A Pirate Roofing representative met the insurance adjuster at the house and helped point out the damaged areas. Once the adjuster filed the report the insurance companies first response was it did not warrant a total loss coverage (not a surprise...they are in insurance company after-all). Pirate Roofing helped me argue with the insurance company which reversed its' decision to replace the entire roof.

The new roof was installed in 2-days (large 2-story) and the work area was cleaned after the job. Great job on the installation and they took care of filing for the depreciation recovery money from the insurance company for me. It was an awesome overall experience.

We just moved and needed gutters desparately! Josh from Pirate Roofing came out and gave us a super fair price for gutters on our home and even color matched the gutters to our house! Super friendly, very professional and the gutter guys did an amazing job! Nothing better than a one stop shop for gutters, roofing, etc... I will definitely be referring them to all my neighbors! Thanks guys!

Steve and his crew did an EXCELLENT job replacing our roof after it was damaged during a windstorm. They replaced the whole roof (3,000 sq. ft.) in one day and other than a beautiful new roof, there was no evidence they were ever here. No debris or trash to clean up or anything. I am proud to recommend Pirate Roofing!

Update review May 2020:

Another excellent experience with these guys. I had a leak where my patio meets my garage. They came out, reworked the area of concern and genuinely cared about making sure the leak was completely gone. For sale of a longer review, I will simply say you cannot find a better team to go with.

Jon was great to work with, showed up on time for appointment, installed my attic foil and insulation that day, and my 30 year old home now feels comfortable. My bills are lower and our upstairs is finally very pleasant on 90 degree plus days. Thank you.

I had a very great experience with Pirate Roofing after the Hail Storm of April 2016 hit Wylie, TX. Working with Brent G. of Pirate roofing, we were able to get all the repairs itemized and worked with my insurance company to get payments and repairs expedited to my complete satisfaction. I've already referred a coworker to Pirate Roofing and he is already getting great service as well. It is nice to work with company that is also located in your home city. I was fortunate to find a great Roofing company especially when hundreds ascended upon Wylie after the hail storms. Great job Brent of Pirate Roofing!!!
