Reviews of local pros in Wylie, Texas

Update review May 2020:

Another excellent experience with these guys. I had a leak where my patio meets my garage. They came out, reworked the area of concern and genuinely cared about making sure the leak was completely gone. For sale of a longer review, I will simply say you cannot find a better team to go with.

Original review 8 years ago: Excellent experience. Jon was great to work with, showed up on time for appointment, installed my attic foil and insulation that day, and my 30 year old home now feels comfortable. My bills are lower and our upstairs is finally very pleasant on 90 degree plus days. Thank you.

Pirates roofing did a wonderful job with our roof, clean up was excellent.Thank you John

I had a very great experience with Pirate Roofing after the Hail Storm of April 2016 hit Wylie, TX. Working with Brent G. of Pirate roofing, we were able to get all the repairs itemized and worked with my insurance company to get payments and repairs expedited to my complete satisfaction. I've already referred a coworker to Pirate Roofing and he is already getting great service as well. It is nice to work with company that is also located in your home city. I was fortunate to find a great Roofing company especially when hundreds ascended upon Wylie after the hail storms. Great job Brent of Pirate Roofing!!!

Stephen Boyd from Pirate Roofing was really great to work with! He is the definition of excellent customer service - he was punctual, polite, worked directly with my insurance adjuster, drove me to homes in my area so I could see how specific shingles appeared on homes with my brick shade, helped me select a great looking and great performing shingle for my home at a great value, emailed me photos of the roof as it was being installed, and much more. I am very pleased with my new roof and gutters and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend Stephen and Pirate Roofing to anyone!

They clean and finish in one day Excellent Job. Thank You for the work.....

If you are looking for a fantastic company to use from start to finish, look no further than Pirate Roofing. We needed help with some outside issues and had a great experience from the time I called to schedule until the job was complete. John was there when he said he would be there and did exactly what he said he would do and was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Pirate Roofing without reservation.

The staff at Pirate Roofing are fast and reliable. Highly recommend!

I recently sold a home and had Pirate Roofing repair and install a new roof. They were abundantly friendly and responsive,a and my contact Josh was especially helpful with making sure the repair could be done within the short time-frame we had to get the house sold and ready for inspection. I would recommend them to anyone seeking roofing services and will keep them in mind if I ever need a repair in the future.

Jon helped us so much on our roof repairs. He is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely the best roofer in DFW area. I will be his customer for life.

I never thought that I could love a roof but I absolutely love my new roof. The whole process was so easy and quick. There was little to no mess that I had to clean up afterwards, I was thoroughly impressed. 10/10 would recommend.

We have super high standards. Fantastic job! Roof replacement, re-stain fence, gutters, pergola roof replacement. Jon is a true professional. Highly recommend.

I had a leak from one of my vents on the roof. Jonathan came out and gave us a quick but thorough inspection, found the problem and sent us a quote within an hour. They even came out on a holiday to fix it. They were very responsive, their prices were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend them for your roofing needs.

Excellent service. Very much appreciate the skills and abilities. Also grateful for someone who can climb a ladder to do that. And the new vents look fantastic. Much nicer than having squirrels eating up the old ones

Three word- honest, helpful and speedy. Highly recommend this company. We have used them in three different homes needing roof repair. They are quick to respond, you get on the schedule in a timely manner, they help with all the insurance requirements.

Jon is quick, thorough, and fair. Highly recommend and will be using again in the future

I was able to get a detailed estimate very quickly. The work was done within a few days, extremely fast. Jon stayed in contact with me throughout the process and gave me advance notice on when they'd be coming. I'll definitely use them in the future.

Pirate Roofing was very fair, accommodating, efficient and timely. They are professionals who knows what is needed and does not try to "up-sale" to garner profits that are not needed for the job. Their honesty and character is an exemplary trait!

Pirate Roofing is absolutely the best roofing company ever. Jonathan keeps you informed every step of the way and takes awesome care of you. Thank you Jonathan, sincerely appreciate all of your hard work. It looks incredible.

As usual, absolutely excellent. Fast, very affordable, very pleasant. And they stand by their work!! They replaced four skylights (in the rain, no less!).

Due to the recent hail storm, we had a lot of damage to our roof. We contacted Jonathan Szilva at Pirate Roofing and he came the next day to do an inspection. He and his team just finished the roof and did a wonderful job. Every one was professional, polite, and trustworthy. I can totally recommend him for all your roofing needs!

Jon and his team are spectacular. They replaced our roof and window screens this week. Honest, nice folks, very responsive and communicative. Extremely easy to work with. The guys did a fantastic job on the roof and cleaned everything up when they were done. We liked them so much we used them on both my in-law's house and our house. Honestly couldn't ask for a better company.
