I recently moved into a new home and when the colder weather hit I turned on my furnace only to find it wasn't working. There was a magnet on the unit for Total Service so I called them as they either installed or have worked on the unit in the past. I was told a technician would be out at 11:00 the following morning and the appointment was confirmed by text where I received a reply stating "see you tomorrow." Three days, 4 text messages, and 8 phone calls later I have heard not a peep from anyone. It reeks of a scam in my opinion.

Being a woman I obviously did not know much about what a/c systems-except for the fact that mine was not working!... I spoke to Lucas-did my research and DID call other companies. Total service ended up giving me the best estimate at least 300$ cheaper than the bigger companies. Smaller companies is the way to go! their prices are significantly cheaper, they get you scheduled in asap, and make you feel at ease while in your home!

After calling various HVAC companies, I decided to choose this one based on the fact that Mr. Marcelo was very courteous and on time for the initial BID. Plus it seemed like he understood perfectly what we wanted. We had recently purchased a home that is a tri level and had a cooler with no duct work for the lower level. He got done in about a week's time. Upon completion the first thing I noticed was that the pipe from the furnace was no aligned with the pipe that went up, I told him about it and he said that it was not a problem. As I walked in the home the vents had a strong cold air coming out and felt nice. Ok, i thought everything was perfect so I paid him. Come to find out when my husband came home, the upper level of the home has very LITTLE air coming out, there fore it wont get cold or now that it is cold outside, it wont get hot! he goes into the attic only to find out that the system is leaking air from ALL the joints since they were NOT properly sealed. What is worse is that the issue I brought up when I first walked in... it IS a HUGE issue, that is a way for CARBON MONOXIDE to escape! he exposed my family to carbon monoxide and he knew it and yet happily took my money. PLEASE DO NOT USE this company, not worth it, I refuse to have them come back and do something about their crappy job, I Would rather hire someone else to fix his mistakes.

Just had them replace my furnace, could only be more pleased if I had called them last year when the rebates were higher. I called at least 3 other companies and most wouldn't even give me a quote over the phone, but wanted me to take time off of work so that they could come check it out and then quote. These guys quoted over the phone and the final costs were just what they promised. When I told the other places the price I had from these guys they all but hung up on me. Those that did quote were at least 40% higher. I ended up getting a 95% cheaper than the other places' 80%.

The equipment is not top of the line, but is a respectable brand (Goodman) with warranties as good or better than any of the other places I checked.

Would recommend this to anyone. Saved me $1000-2000! Furnace is very quiet, very efficient. Small family-owned business, but they did great work and got in scheduled in a reasonable time.

Worst workmanship ever. I have a system that is installed by this company and there is multiple issues. The coil drain is not done properly, ducting is extremely undersized and not allowing proper air flow we are constantly freezing up. The returns are laughable due to the way they were installed. Don’t walk away from this company run! My house is a year old I should not be having these type of issues. When I call other companies to fix this screwed up system all they can do is laugh due to poor workmanship.

We had Lucas install a new furnace and two split units in our home. He was very professional and courteous. We felt comfortable with him in our home every time he came. He even made additional trips to make sure the units were working well. We have 3600 sq feet and with temps reaching 95+ degrees, the system he installed has maintained a nice 71 degrees in our home. We could not be more pleased with the service and the product. The price was also lower than what we had been quoted from other companies. We highly recommend this company!

Kevin Curtis from Express Home Services was absolutely awesome!! He was on time and gave us a fantastic overview of the features and functionality of our new water heater. Most importantly he did amazing work. A beautiful install that makes sense now. No more chasing Pex lines that lead to nothing. We are customers for life because of Kevin. He’s passionate about his work and it shows.

Erin at Express Home Services was easy to work with and had our problem solved quickly. They were easy to communicate with and fairly priced.

Jose was very concerned about the condition of our furnace and he even went back downstairs to check the carbon monoxide alarm. He wants me to talk to his boss and see if there’s something we can do with American home warranty to have them buy us a new furnace because it is in pretty bad condition. Thanks Jose you are the best.

Aaron was courteous and prompt and very knowledgeable. The prices for adding a 30 amp outlet was a bit much but he did reduce it down! Will use this service again

Aaron is wonderful, he helped me to install a wall charger for the Tesla and he did a great job and he did good work. He really knows his stuff! I would hire him again

He came to evaluate my electrical system I my house. He was very courteous and e plained everything thoroughly so that I could understand . He did not offer services I did not need and helped me understand what should be a priority with out pressuring me at all. Probably the best and most honest contractor I have ever dealt with. He was a pleasure to work with

Express Home Service provided excellent electrical service at our rental house, from initial consultation to outlet repair. However, we were ultimately disappointed with the membership program. We signed up expecting a 15% discount on all projects as advertised but were charged regular prices because our home warranty was intended to cover the electrical work inside the house, with reimbursement to follow. This felt misleading.

Compounding the issue, our warranty company based their final approval on the original invoice, which included the promised 15% discount. This discrepancy and lack of clarity during the final invoice payment led to our disappointment and ultimately, the cancellation of our Express Home Service membership. While the initial service was excellent, the membership program's implementation fell short of expectations.

There was a little mix up regarding the scheduling but Express quickly resolved the issue. Jose was very professional, friendly and winterized my swamp cooler with efficiency. He went above and beyond to make sure the gutters were clear and wouldn’t cause any problems this winter. Very happy with my experience

Aaron is the epitome of a professional. He answered all of my questions to make sure I understood the work being performed and gave me options for what really needed to be fixed and what was optional. He was friendly, on time, and finished ahead of schedule. All work was professional quality.

Aaron came out to my house and was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and just great all around. He offered multiple ways to solve my problem and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Great guy. The company was great to work with, too!

I had 3 items I wanted reviewed. Aaron addressed the first item with a simple change of light bulbs because I had the wrong ones. It was incredibly appreciated. The other two items required a little more work. He walked through my home to see if an additional circuit was needed, per my request. The solution Aaron presented was a complete replacement of all electrical in my home. He used scare tactics. The “safe home” option was over $14K. He also presented three additional options; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. When going through the options it was identified that there was a negligence in testing all outlets in the bedroom to determine how many circuits were in the room, if an additional circuit was needed and what all options were. I would have appreciated a thorough review of the circuits in the room in question and make recommendations an expert in his field would offer. With my meager knowledge of electrical and the requests to hold off on the four tier options so I could get a second opinion, he presented a fifth option for $169. I’m disgusted that the scare tactic was presented verses here are ALL the options, as an expert I recommend we take care of the XYZ issue today. I noticed additional items which I have concerns with and want to recommend we consider due to codes and safety. I understand this large expense was not planned for so let’s talk it through and determine if you’d like to address it today or if we can schedule for the first of the year to revisit when you have time to save for the update to ensure your home meets the current code and you’ll then be confident you and your family are safe. Had the information been delivered with compassion an entirely different outcome would have occurred. We spent some time discussing the interaction and how I, as a business owner in a commercial construction field, would addresses similar issues with my clients which is, I first build trust by looking out for the clients financial, immediate need, future needs, and ideal solution to secure sells. It’s unfortunate due to Aaron and that the employees work on commission, I will not be reaching out to Express Home Services again. I was clearly only an immediate sale without interest in building a trusting relationship that would pay dividends for years to come as well as referrals to friends and family.
