Service was very prompt, much sooner than expected. No pressure to upsell. Competitive pricing but then again everything everywhere is expensive. Friendly and efficient. Glad for our choice of Utah heat Cable!.

1 week post install. All good. Zak and myles did a gr8 job on install. Only one concern. The kasa smart plugs are only rated to freezing. We shall see performance this winter. It is now late oct 2025

Utah Heat Cable installed our heat tape at our new construction as a sub-contractor that was hired by our builder. When they came for the installation, they asked for more money to install the heat tape as per the original plans (and did not coordinate the communication through our builder which would be standard operating procedure). They recommended an approach that puts the switches on the outside of the house as opposed to inside the house where the plans originally showed.

There was then further miscommunication on their part (not our builder) as to whether we would receive a credit for their approach due to some confusing communication from their estimator. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we certainly would not hire them ourselves to do any further work.

When given the opportunity to make it right, their owner David Tanner claimed it wasn’t their fault that it wasn’t installed per plans and never called us or emailed us back (my wife called and left a message with his office) with a simple apology, we did not even ask for the credit back in the end.

I will give them 1 extra star for the experience in the hope the system actually work and 1 star for their estimator Scott who even though we had some miscommunication was very nice.

Utah Heat Cable did a great job with our heat cable installation. It was a fast, one-day installation. I have worked with multiple heat cable contractors and electricians. None of them have been as knowledgeable with heat cable and ice dam prevention systems as Dave and his manager. The staff is exceptionally kind and intelligent. They are very fairly priced, on time, professional, and whenever I had questions they were able to explain things so well that even a 5th grader could understand it. I wish I had another project for them to do because it was such a pleasure working with them. Thank you Utah Heat Cable! I will be passing your name along and calling for any future projects.

I received several bids for installing heat cable on the north side of my home. Utah Heat Cable was quick to come out and provide an estimate, their estimate was more detailed and thorough, and their price was better than the other bids. The installation went smoothly and they did a professional job. There was a problem getting a part from a supplier for an option I requested and they kept me informed of the situation and worked with my schedule to get the work completed. Very professional and no hesitation at all in recommending them!

Todd -the tech- was professional and did a thorough job. He was respectful of my home and kept his workspace clean. He didn’t try to talk me into doing more than the services I asked for, which I very much appreciated.

Christian came up to my home to estimate two different approaches to Air Conditioning/ Heating in the front of my house. Rather complex set of circumstances, and I changed my mind a few times during the process, but Christian was always very knowledgeable of options, professional and responsive. Great to work with.

Service technician, Todd, was nice and respectful. I especially liked that he told me the more expensive filters I was using actually aren’t better for my system and recommended a less expensive filter. I received messages letting me know his estimated arrival time which was pretty spot on even on a snowy day. Thank you!

We have a large number of air ducts and vents in our home. Eric (the technician) was very professional. He arrived right on time. He walked me through the house with me explaining the process before he began. We are very happy with the work he did on our HVAC ducts and dryer vent.

We had three evaporator / swamp coolers that we needed to have started up , Brandon was our tech from TemperaturePro he was very professional and did a great job for us. We will definitely be using TemperaturePro again.
