Great company!! Very responsive, efficient and pleasant. I have used them for several property lighting needs. Very impressed with Keith (owner) and all his technicians. They are all very knowledgeable and professional in their work.
Recommend without reservation for anyone's lighting needs.

Landscape Lighting Design (LLD) did an excellent job of describing, planning, repairing existing lights, and installing new fixtures. The crew (JZ and Patrick) that came to fix and install were excellent. They were punctual, capable, and knowledgeable about the design and products. In fixing some of the fixtures in the back yard, they found a couple of fixtures on the steps that I had forgotten about and they fixes those too. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy by coming out the next day in the morning to adjust the lighting based on our observations from the night before. They would have come out again, but the lighting arrangement was now how we wanted it. We would definitely recommend LLD to anyone seeking to beautify their yard.

Did a wonderful job. I had piles of unwanted rocks at my home in Herriman. They used them to build two retaining walls, and a nice dry creek/flower area. Then they hauled off the rocks we couldn’t use. My back yard looks finished and clean. Fair price and no extra charges. On time and finished quickly. Perfect.

SHORT VERSION
This is the most unprofessional and poor-quality landscape company in Utah. Save yourself financial and emotional distress by choosing any other company. The only other Google review is by the owner, Chris Cummings, making it unreliable. See my full review with photos below and feel free to contact me directly if you are considering their services; I’d be happy to provide more details to help you avoid a potential catastrophe.

LONG VERSION
In summer 2022, we hired a different company, Model Landscape, to install a beautiful stone path on the north side of our house, lined with bushes and trees (see attached photo of their beautiful work and what the path used to look like). Their work was excellent, and we were thrilled with the results. Fast forward to April 2023: I answered the door to a stranger who informed me he was with Unique Landscaping Designs and that he had mistakenly demolished our expensive path, thinking he was working on a neighbor’s house. Instead of verifying the address or checking with us, they just started ripping up the path (see other images of ripped up path and poor repair work).

Despite my frustration, I gave Unique Landscaping Designs a chance to fix the mistake. Chris Cummings, the owner, assured me they’d repair it that day. They spent less than an hour on the job, leaving the path in terrible condition. The stones were haphazardly placed with some sand thrown on top and sprayed with water. When I reached out to Chris, he was belligerent and rude, claiming I was lucky they were even attempting to fix it. Quite frankly, Chris should have be thankful I didn’t pursue legal action for property damage and operating without a license or insurance (more on that later).

Chris promised to redo the repair the next day but failed to show up. After multiple unreturned calls, I confronted him at the neighbor’s house. My neighbor, also unhappy with their work on his own lot, joined me in pointing out the issues on the repair work. Chris reluctantly agreed to fix it but again did an extremely poor job, not even caring so much as to match the existing mulch color with what they had removed before catching themselves.

Chris was evasive when I asked about their license and insurance during the whole ordeal. He admitted (which I have on video) he had neither, which is highly concerning for a business handling such significant projects. My neighbor, who also has a lot of negative to say about Unique Landscaping Designs' work on his own property, had to pressure Chris to prioritize fixing our path before continuing work on his house. Even then, the work was rushed and poorly executed. They ended up having to "repair" their own repair work 3 more times before I was quite honestly ready to just be done with them and Chris' hot temper.

Chris told me to contact him if any issues arose, but now in 2024, the path is in terrible shape. My attempts to reach him last fall as issues arose and this spring have been ignored, and I believe he has blocked my number. Chris and his team destroyed approximately $7,000 worth of work done by another landscaping company and failed to provide a proper repair. Again, all on a house they shouldn't have been working on in the first place.

Avoid Unique Landscaping Designs at all costs. Their lack of professionalism, poor-quality work, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them a terrible choice. Chris Cummings’s behavior and his inability to correct his mistakes have caused us significant stress and financial loss. Save yourself the trouble and choose a reputable, licensed, and insured landscaping company. It's not worth whatever discount or cheap price they may offer if it's poorly done and has to be redone within a year by someone else anyway.

Lastly and to be frank, their website alone screams that this isn't an established contractor/company. The "Happy Customer" quote on the bottom of the screen isn't real (they haven't been in business long enough to do 100s of jobs). Most of their webpages aren't completed or are placeholder text/ChatGPT text.

I had Unique Landscaping remove about 105 feet of sod from my park strip and replace it with crushed rock and some large boulders. They hauled away all the dirt and sod and brought in about 8 yards of crushed rock and 7 1/2 tons of boulders. Chris moved the boulders around so I could see how they would look. He was very patient with me until the boulders were placed where I wanted them. When they were done they did a great job of cleaning up the work area. I would definitely recommend Unique Landscaping, they arrived when they said they would and the price was right. I am totally satisfied with the work they did for me.

Alpine Landscapes did an exceptional job with my residential landscape project. I first hired them in 2024 to renovate the irrigation system and backyard of my home. They did such a nice job that I recently had them back to complete a landscape installation in the front yard. Nate, the owner, is great to work with. He’s communicative, offers helpful suggestions, is transparent about pricing, and is onsite working with his crew each day. Alpine Landscape’s expertise in waterwise landscapes helped me to design a landscape that not only looks awesome but also qualified for the Utah Water Savers program. In addition to plants and irrigation, a highlight of our project is the front patio they built. They did a great job with a challenging and intricate wall design and creatively integrated it into our existing porch and pathways. It turned out perfect. It was a pleasure to work with Alpine Landscapes and I highly recommend them.

Nate and his team are the ultimate professionals. Attention to details, communication, elite work, we couldn’t be happier with our experience with them!!!

Nate and his team did a great job at our house!! They helped with grading an area with rock for our garden boxes and installing some turf around a basketball court. Nate was helpful with advice on some hard to visualize areas. They were timely, priced appropriately, excellent communicators and responsive with adjustments. They even cleaned up after themselves which I can’t say about other contractors!! What a nice surprise! We would definitely use Alpine Landscapes again in the future!

Aeroscape is a great company that pays attention to detail. They work quickly and efficiently without cutting any corners. I have used them for personal and professional work and would definitely recommend them.

I’ve honestly never had a landscaping company do such a poor job consistently. They have destroyed our fence posts, and torn up the bark on our tree. There hasn’t been one week of mowing our lawn where they have even done the bare minimum to make our lawn look good. Today I finally had to write a review after they used the weedwacker to “mow” the lawn. I luckily was at home, and was able to stop them when they were cleaning up and ask them why they didn’t use a lawn mower. They came back and went over it with the mower, but I shouldn’t have to baby sit.

I was sitting out my car getting ready for work and the landscape guys are blowing leaves everywhere and proceed to blow them right into my rolled down window without an apology or anything until I get out and start yelling at the guy. Is it common practice for these guys to blow leaves into other people's cars

Dean F. And Luciano have been very prompt at responding to landscaping issues. Either by s phone call or a text. They have came to the property on their own time just to make sure things are running smoothly. Our HOA grass is much greener this year than ever thanks to their fertilizers and maintenance. They are always dependable and reliable! 😊

Bryson Greenlaugh, who works for Aerospace as a project manager, is Excellent! When He first came out to our property , we were only able to finish the front yard. I had specific ideas and he listened to me closely and drew a pattern and came back to to give us a bid. I was sooo excited as he was well mannered, worked hard, his plant knowledge was Huge, and knew how to have them planted. He was a good supervisor with his crew. He understood what I wanted and my husband and I were NOT disappointed! We absolutely Love the professional design he drew.. We loved his work so much, that we asked him to come back and do our backyard this Year! We are looking forward to it being done!
