Reviews of local pros in Murray, Utah

We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Joshua Tree Experts! The communication was outstanding throughout the process. And the end result was amazing! I would recommend to anyone!

Pleasant crew, considerate of the property. Did what they promised. That is a pleasant surprise these days.

Over the last couple years, we have lost 5 lodge pole pines (we now have about 25 left); our neighbors also lost about 5. We heard about the arborist at Joshua tree and asked if he could help us find the cause. He inspected the trees and discovered we have beetles in them. He showed us the telltale signs and then offered a remedy. He was very knowledgeable and informative. We will be treating all the trees. (He will also trim many of the other trees for us.) We were impressed that he advised us to wait until later in the spring for the treatment as timing is important in ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Such a great experience. He was knowledgeable, helpful and honest and let me know what he could do to help out with treatments. He also let me know what I could do in addition to what they would do to help my trees. It was very helpful and now we just have to wait until fall to do his treatments when it is the best time. Highly recommend! This would be the only company I would trust to treat my trees.

Nick is very knowledgeable and his company’s service was excellent. I have been on the lookout for years for someone to take good care of a prized tree in my yard. Nick and Joshua Tree fit the bill.

Nick Cummings and his team (Andrew, Daniel, and Chad) did a professional, thorough and clean job pruning my huge honey locust of dead wood and clearing out some really old, thick pyracantha bushes (which are actually an extremely thorny plant that is also a major fire hazard). I recommend this crew to manage the trees and bushes on your property. They were very neat and respectful of the property and had a great attitude. The finished the job on time! Thanks!

Use Joshua Tree for your tree removal!!

Nick, the owner, gave us a good price to remove five enormous pinion pine trees. The job went just like Nick said it would when he talked me through it. He knows what he's talking about. We got on the schedule quickly. We were scheduled about a week out. The crew arrived at 7:30 a.m. and worked all day. They left around 7:30 p.m. It was a tricky job. The guys were flawless in removing the trees. They had to maneuver my house, my neighbor's house, power lines, and apple tree, a shed, and a fence. Not a single rogue branch. I was so impressed. They came back the next morning and cleaned up with rakes and blowers. My yard was totally clean when they left. The crew was friendly and let us watch and take videos.
A couple of notes...
The only bummer was that I told them several times that I wanted to keep the wood chips for mulch, everybody knew. We talked about it all day, and they hauled it away at the end of the day. Not my favorite, but the quality of work was perfect.
I was going to have them grind the stumps also, but at the end of the job, I was told the price would be double what I was quoted. I told him to wait on the stumps so we could negotiate the price. Nick told me he would talk to the guy he uses to contract out the stumps, but I never heard back from him. A couple of weeks later, I was not home and happened to glance at my phone and I had a text from Nick saying his stump guy was at my house and they would do the job for the original price. By that time, I had found another company to do the job for the same price, so we sent Nick's guy home. Again, the tree removal work was fantastic, so definitely 5 stars there.

Joshua Tree is awesome! Nick listened to our needs, was transparent and delivered. The whole process was easy and the communication was great!

Joshua Tree wins the prize for tree artistry! And tree preservation. They have a deep love of nature and preserving trees. I'm also taking their suggestion to play classical music outside for tree health. They are reasonably priced and have a very skilled team who work well together. They will also remove trees that you wish to be removed and they have pleasant personalities. They are also easy to work with and will accommodate any suggestions and concerns you have with trees.

Great crew, Nick was very knowledgeable, did a great job on shapeing our trees, we will use them again.

Nick, Joel and Andrew were wonderful! Friendly, attentive and skilled! Our trees look amazing!

Excellent knowledge and service. The best in the business. A real joy to work with.

I was very pleased with the service from Joshua Tree. They’re very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them for any of your service needs.

Nick and his crew are timely, clean up after themselves and do quality work. Highly recommend their services

Nick was great to work with - very knowledgable team. They were very prompt and did an excellent job. Nick and his team removed (3) trash trees and groomed (3) others. We are very happy with the professionalism they displayed.

Wow! What a team! Nick and his team tackled a large chestnut tree in a small space in an urban setting. The chestnut tree has so much more space and light. The burden of dead limbs has been removed and a path for the power lines cleared. The tree will have many more healthy years. Thanks Joshua Tree Experts!!

Have used Joshua Tree Experts twice now and the customer service is exceptional. Nick has been very attentive to my wants and he and his crew have worked hard to make it happen. They have also been reliable and punctual. Definitely recommend!

They did a great job. Had to come back because of a plethora of wasps. Got the wasp problem handled and they came back and finished the job. They were professional, informative, and timely. Highly recommend.

Nick and crew did a fabulous job with my trimming and tree removal project. They were polite, professional and did a very good job. I will definitely use them again.

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Joshua Tree Service. Nick and his team were fantastic. Super friendly, showed up on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. They made the whole process easy and the trees look great. Really appreciated the solid communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Nick and his crew did some awesome work for me! He taught me about the health of my trees and showed me exactly what needed pruning and why. I will hire them again as soon as I need it. Thanks Nick!
