TLDR: Whatever your backyard needs, hire Jaime - you will not regret it.

Project Summary: Our house was a new build and as such the backyard was in total disarray. Rocky, dusty and packed with weeds, we needed someone who could do it all - and do it quick since a new dog adoption meant we needed a yard, ASAP. Our project consisted of grading and rock removal, moving sprinkler lines, pouring a concrete patio, installing concrete curbing / lawn edging, delivering and laying fill dirt, delivering and laying mulch and delivering and laying sod.

Working with Jaime: I texted JS Landscaping Wednesday Aug 5th, 2020. That very day he was out at our place getting us an estimate of work. He was courteous and a good listener. After talking through the project he took some measurements and in less than a half hour we had our bid - which was lower than any previous bid we had received. We agreed - and he and his crew were working the very next day. Now obviously that will not always be the case depending on their schedule and workload, but I was amazed as how hard-working and eager the entire crew was. There was no down time - our yard was being transformed before our very eyes. Thanks to his professional eye and careful planning, we had our ENTIRE project completed in less than a week - and done very well I might add.

Communication: I have worked with many contractors over the years and communication is often the primary barrier. Whether it be language barriers, a lack of responses, or a generally unprofessional demeanor, I have often had to simply hope that my work was getting done and be a nervous wreck the entire time. NOT SO with Jaime. He always communicated clearly what he and his crew would be doing each day and at what time. Any time there was a problem that would require more effort (like an unforeseen boulder in our yard) he would contact us and let us know what it would cost additionally to fix (which was always fair) and give us options. He was pleasant to talk to with a good sense of humor. Overall one of most professional and communicative contractors i’ve yet worked with. (5/5)

Cost / Value: Jaime gave us an estimate with each and every line item broken out (which i very much appreciated and doesn’t often happen). We knew exactly what we were paying for and what options we had to minimize expenses. On top of all that clarity, the costs were very very fair. Jaime’s bid was lower than any other estimate we had yet received and we were happy to pay it. Considering the speed and quality of his work, his price tag was an absolute steal. (5/5)

Skill & Professionalism: A contractor is only as good as his crew, and Jaime’s crew was top notch. They brought heavy machinery in to do the grading and dumping and watching them maneuver tight spaces, avoiding our house / deck / hot tub showed true skill. Where they couldn’t get a machine in they worked by hand - and when I say work, I mean it. I’ve never seen a crew as motivated. Rarely did I see them resting and when I would offer water or food, they were already on top of it. Normally, to get a job done as quickly as this a contractor will cut corners - but not JS. These guys simply hauled butt and worked hard. (5/5)

Quality of Work: Again I cannot overstate - these guys went above and beyond and transformed our yard in less than a week. The concrete work was very well done, the sod was well laid, and everything turned out exactly according to plan. I am so happy with their work and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone with any type of landscaping job. These guys clearly go above and beyond simple lawn care or sprinkler repair and If more landscaping is needed, they will be the first guys we call. (5/5)

I was out of town when my concrete work was done, and they did an excellent job of communicating and sending progress update photos so that I could ensure the work was done correctly. They did an excellent job, at a fair price, on time. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the work that JS Landscaping did for me. I had them take out our park strip grass, level the remaining soil and haul it all away in preparation for putting in rock. They responded to my inquiry the same day and we scheduled them for the next day! Their crew showed up on time and the work was completed in just a few hours. Very professional! In fact, their work was so well done that two of my neighbors asked them to do that same work at their house that same day!
Their response was quick, the price was right, the work was done professionally, they were friendly and the work-site was cleaned up well afterwards. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend them!

JS Landscaping poured a lot of concrete around my shop and house. They did a lot of prep work and the final product looks great! What I like about JS Landscaping aside from the good work they do, is that they showed up when they said they would. In fact they were at my place working everyday in preparation for the concrete pour. I have had a lot of contractors tell me they are coming only to delay or not show up at all. I highly recommend JS Landscaping due to their professional work, and keeping their timeframe that they agreed to do.

JS Landscaping was outstanding to work with. They transformed our front yard into something beyond our expectations. The transformation was completed in just a few days. Jaime was easy to work with as he gave us total control of the design. But he made suggestions to make our design even better. I look forward to working with Jaime and JS Landscaping on future projects.

Great service and work. My wife called for a quote and Jaime was at our house within an hour to measure and to give us estimate. He got started on the sprinklers and leveling right away. Mulch came in second. Lastly, the sod was laid down. Our timeline was met and my wife is very happy with the outcome.

We are in a new build and we asked JS landscaping to finish our 1/2 acre yard and pour a big cement patio.
Initially we decided to go with them because their price was slightly better than the other quotes and he was very quick to respond. But unfortunately now we really regret it.
We have had nothing but problems with our grass and cement since he finished. We have a tremendous amount of weeds due to poor top soil he laid. We had spots that are dying because it is being over watered or not enough. But the zones he laid out are so weird there isn’t a way to fix it without digging it back up (we sought the opinion of a professional landscaper just today regarding these issues) and to top it ALL off, the cement he laid cracked after only a couple of weeks.
The worst thing about all of this is once we tried to reach out to him to talk about our problem we were having he completely ghosted us. Haven’t heard from him since..
I’m honestly not one to ever write a bad review especially because we got to know Jamie and really liked him. We found his company online, not by referral, and a big reason we decided to go with him was because of all the great reviews he had. But this project cost us $30,000 and now it looks like we are gonna have to spend so much more to get it fixed.

We had a very amazing experience with JS landscaping! They came out for our original quote very quickly and beat out another bid by at least $2000 or more. We were skeptical and read reviews, But nothing but great things on reviews.
Jamie started our big project earlier than expected by about 5 days. Him and his team were quick, showed up early every morning, and did great work. Jamie kept us updated for questions or problems and talked to us about options. We ended up adding some concrete after initial job quote as well and were very happy!

This was a stress free and enjoyable experience. Each stage of the process: french drain, rock retaining wall w/steps, leveling and grading, curbing, full sprinkler set up went off on time, as stated, and agreed upon and as quoted! for the past 2.5yrs building our dream home, and working with numerous contractors, Jamie was by far the best to work with. His communication was key. He was constantly updating us on what they were going to be working on each day. Same day bid, great prices, and super fast! Jamie and his guys knocked out a very large project, 1.1acrs of grading, landscaping, irrigation, curbing, sod, rock, all in under a month! Other companies were estimating double that time and for more $$$$. I highly recommend Jamie and will be using him for all my needs/projects in the future.

Jaime is extremely responsive and helpful. He and his crew do great work. They are super prompt and easy to work with. We are really happy with all the work they have completed for us. The prices are very competitive and the work is really well done.

JS Landscaping did a RV pad extension at my house and they did a great job! Jaime and his crew were professional and efficient. They had some tough twists and turns to work around including a Utopia and electrical box, but they did awesome! Jaime was very fair on his pricing, too. In fact, I had a friend (who went with a different business) that had about the same size pad extension (same amount of cement used) as I had and he spent almost twice as much, so I'm very happy about that. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and so glad that I got it done especially with winter coming, I won't have a muddy mess on the side of my house. Thank you JS Landscaping and Sprinkler Repair! I would recommend them to anyone.

We got on their schedule during a super busy time and he was excellent at managing expectations and communicating. I didn't get many before pictures but here are a couple to try and show the difference.

Such a great company to work with. Hired JS Landscaping for final grading, sprinklers, top soil and sod for our new construction home. I googled landscaping companies and noticed they had great reviews so I called for a quote. It was a Sunday and within a few hours he came over and we received a quote. Prices were the best we have seen plus he was ready to start immediately and other companies were making us wait months.

Our yard looks so great and Jaime is very professional and highly experienced. His customer service is great too. We have called him a few times after installing sod to help us and always has made time for us. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for landscaping work.

Jaime and his crew were amazing! They were fast and professional from the first call for an estimate to the project completion. They got us exactly what we wanted and never balked at any changes we requested. We signed the contract on a Friday and they started the next Monday. Our project turned out better and faster than we had expected. On top of that they beat the next best bid by several thousand dollars. The crew was friendly and responsive. I can’t say enough good things about JS.

Called and scheduled a bid which they subsequently "No call, No showed". Tried to reach out a few times during and after the scheduled appointment without any response.

I have done a few jobs with these guys and I can say first hand they are awesome!! They work hard and really know how to get the job done. I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times

Sal, the owner of Concord Construction, just installed a Murphy door for us. He was knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, and did a good job. He was on time, cleaned up, and did what he said he would. He always responded to me in a timely manner, and seems to be interested in pleasing the customer.
