Best lighting design team in town!

My house is under contract and the inspector found some old knob and tube, which powered more items than I originally thought. I received three bids for the work and chose Mr. Electric. The buyer also requested a quote for a Tesla Charging Station (car). And I needed this completed in less than a week. Zach came on time, was incredibly nice, respectful, completed the work and did a stellar job. Didn't complain one time about having to work in the dirt part of the shelf basement (house built in 1926, polygamous wife). Communicated about what he needed to do and cleaned up after he was done (so rare these days). The estimate for the Tesla charger needed to be broken down further and Chris (owner) helped me out and was incredibly nice considering dealing with me is like dealing with a horse running through a burning barn. I always like companies that don't overcharge through the roof or do half-ass job because I am a 70 year old woman! If I was staying in SLC, I would without a doubt, hire them for any electric work I needed.

Kacey was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. In a few hours he was able to ground our electrical box, install a ring flood light camera, and install outlets + lighting in an outdoor shed. All at a fair price.

If I’d have tried to do this on my own it’d have taken me all week, I’d have burned my house down, and I’d be in the hospital from electrocuting myself.

Great experience with Mr Electric. Very professional, diagnosed our issue and came up with several plan options to help us fix the issue. Our technician Austin provided tips to help us save money and provide best solutions for repairing our outdoor lighting issue. Will be working with them again in the future.

Austin of Mr. Electric installed lights dimmers, and switches and we love the brighter lights and the beautiful work he did. We are 6 out of 5 stars satisfied. He worked on correct placement, brightness and color, and did a fabulous job. He is wonderful to work with.

Dalton came out for some electrical work, and I couldn't be more impressed! He did an awesome job—everything was done efficiently, and the quality of work was top-notch. On top of that, he was super friendly and approachable, making the whole process stress-free. If you're looking for a skilled electrician who also provides excellent customer service, Dalton is your guy. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I had them upgrade the wiring in my house to support the sauna that they installed for me. The price was very reasonable and they scheduled us in a timely manner. They did minimal damage to my Sheetrock by carefully planning how to pull the new wires through my basement ceiling. Plus, you're not going to believe this...They cleaned up after themselves!

They are also just really cool human beings with the owners having learned the trade while serving the great United States of America in a submarine! Our main electrician, Kacey, was a great guy - so pleasant to work with. The kind of guy you could hang out with and that you would want your sons to be like.

This recommendation comes after Mr Electric experienced some unforeseen challenges related to inaccurate instructions provided for the sauna install. It took several weeks for us to get proper instructions and replacement parts and these guys didn't finger point or blame, they just made it right for me as the customer. They are honest and keep their word.

I don't know what else to say but that they are awesome electricians, running a company that lives its values perfectly. I would trust them with any electrical job. Heck, I'd trust them with the PIN on my bank account. They already have the garage code!

Excellent service from both Austin and Aaron in doing some upgrades around the house. I love the safety checklist to ensure nothing is missed. Austin is excellent skilled and confident electrician. This is a veteran owned company as well. Glad I found them.

Mr. Electric provided outstanding service! I initially called another company that told me I needed an entire repair on my electrical meter and quoted me $4,000. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion and called Mr. Electric. They came out the next morning, took the time to thoroughly check everything—not just the meter—and found that it wasn’t the issue at all. Their team, especially Kacey, was fantastic, explaining everything clearly and keeping us informed throughout. Chris was also incredibly helpful and genuinely cared about ensuring we got the best service at a fair price. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience overall with Mr. Electric. Kacey was fantastic - he came out to give a quote without a dispatch charge, had the most affordable quote out of the many that I received, and was prompt to come out and get the work done.

Dalton is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and courteous home technicians we have encountered. We appreciate both the various consultative options he offered with regards to installing an L2 EV charger as well as his workmanship, efficiency and final service. Ask for Dalton if you can in my honest opinion.

Austin was awesome. The problem wasn't fixed first try (no surprise - it was not a simple one), but he came back at no additional charge (as promised, but as most contractors don't really honor) and worked on it until he solved it, and it works great!

Austin went above and beyond to check on several different electrical issues in our new to us home. Appreciate the professionalism and kindness. He even helped us out with a small discount knowing it was my Husband’s birthday. Excellent customer service.

Austin came out on time, listened to my concerns, communicated well throughout the process, climbed in the attic midsummer only after determining it was absolutely necessary, and answered lots of unknowns about the state of our old house’s wiring. He completed the job in a timely manner as well. To top it off, he also cleaned up fingerprints on the attic door left by previous electricians. Will be coming back to them for future updating/troubleshooting.

Chris knows his stuff and was unbelievably helpful with a realm that I know very little about but had a lot riding on. He and Dalton came and installed a phase converter so I could run some industrial equiptment and they were super easy to work with and did a fantastic job!
