Very happy with the service on the washing machine. Max came the same day we needed help. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the problem. Will call this company again.

We had a great experience! Gints came on the same day we reached out for service. Diagnosed the issue and told us the cost of repair. Very personable and professional. Had to order a part, so it took a second trip. Came to replace a defective part as scheduled. I would definitely call the Utah Appliance Experts again. They are honest, knowledgeable and diligent. I highly recommend their repair services.

Horrible experience! Had them out in October 2022 to fix the dryer, and kept adding additional changes until I ended up paying nearly a grand due to hundreds of dollars in unexpected increases, new dryers cost less than that. The needed part was a week out and then was delayed a week on top of that, a $25 discount was offered for the delay - they’ll make it up it’s okay. When contesting the bill given with additional charges for new parts that I didn’t agree to nor were required the service man told me he was offended and hurt that I wasn't appreciative but rather upset when he was being so thoughtful by doing what was best for me by offering me an extra service. Really, I hurt your feelings by questioning that you jacked the price up hundreds of dollars? How about offering options, giving a choice, that is service! When expressing this to the service line they said the solution was to have him remove the parts that he unnecessarily replaced and put the old ones back in. He had already been at my house for half the day and now not in welcome conditions and I’m a mom home alone with her young children. I wanted him out ASAP. Plus I have confidence if this was asked labor charges would have been a topic.
Also, the final bill had charges on it that I had already paid as a down payment that they were trying to double collect. They did correct that but it took me calling it out.
Fast forward to January 2023 when my expensesive dry with all sorts of new parts that have a warranty offered on their work by this company isn't working. Called the company who was quick to exclude over the phone any warranty, but they can send someone. I advised I don’t want any work done by them unless it’s warranty, I won’t pay a cent more to this company. Advised they can send someone but if not warranty there is a fee even if no work is done. Ummm, no thank you! The woman on the phone was very quick to advise my issue isn’t covered without asking anything about the issue. I advised her it’s giving me the error code “call service” she said it’s a different issue because last time it was making a noise. Yep, okay. Certainly can tell nothing is possibly warranty work, even with all those “new” parts that were put in, with the little info offered on the phone. -
I wont ever call them again. They wanted about 5 times the cost of an OEM part and about 10 times the cost of an aftermarket part to make a simple 15 min range repair. I feel like they were drastically overpriced for the service they wanted to provide.

I called to have my dishwasher installed after Home Depot put me off for yet another 2 weeks. Their technician was very professional and polite. Gints was able to set up my new appliance with no trouble at all. I will definitely call this company if I need any future repairs on my home appliances.

We’ve had Utah Appliance Experts out twice, once for our washer and today for our oven. Both techs were prompt, efficient, and explained the issues and the fix clearly. The first tech also offered advice about future purchases (apparently our washing machine is known for problems and hard to work on).
Max (who fixed our oven) was friendly, personable, and professional. He made it 100% comfortable to leave a stranger on his own in the house, which meant I could go about my work and be called in only when he needed something. With both repairs, they had the parts and the fix within 24 hours; which feels astonishing. Both were also able to come out within a day of me calling.
I’d highly recommend Utah Appliance, and especially Max. We had a great experience with both repairs, which made an annoying and stressful situation (a key appliance breaking) much easier to navigate and super fast to resolve. -
Another repair company (A&E Factory Service) performed a repair of our washer and left before ensuring it worked. This resulted in the washer remaining non-functional for 3 weeks as, they rescheduled three times without coming back. We finally gave up and looked for a new company to resolve the issue.
Utah Appliance Experts saved the day, and came out within hours of calling them. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue all while charging a very fair price. He stayed to ensure everything worked and assured me if there were any further problems they would be right back out to help.
I would highly recommend Utah Appliance Experts to anyone needing fast (and friendly) service! End your search now and give them a call. I know I will the next time we need an appliance fixed. -
Another great experience!
When my refrigerator went out this week, I remembered the honest repair tech that serviced my dishwasher 18 months ago and returned to Utah Appliance Experts for help.
I’ve had a dependable LG fridge for 12 years and the cost of replacing it was $2000! For less than $300, they were able to get me running again.
Thank you! -
Avoid Utah Appliance Experts - Unprofessional Service and Incomplete Repair
We recently purchased a home with a malfunctioning Thor cooktop. Two burners weren't working, and the seller had Utah Appliance Experts repair them in October 2023 with a supposed 12-month warranty on parts and labor. We have a receipt for this work, which states everything was functional after their repair.
Upon moving in, we discovered the same two burners still malfunctioned. The ignitors, replaced by Utah Appliance Experts with parts listed as "from Thor" on the receipt, were actually too large for the cooktop model. This caused the ignitors to click constantly when those burners were turned on.
Due to the stress of an international move, new jobs, and other pressing home repairs, we waited a few months to contact Utah Appliance Experts again. In May 2024, technician Gints arrived to assess the problem.
Despite their website advertising free diagnostics, Gints insisted on a $95 fee to investigate further, even though the issue stemmed from their initial repair. He dismissed our concerns, stating that waiting six months meant the cooktop likely worked fine the whole time. This was demonstrably untrue.
Gints' demeanor was unprofessional and confrontational. He became defensive when we mentioned that our home warranty company's sent a technician who raised a potential fire hazard concern due to their "repair."
Gints refused to diagnose the issue without the extra fee and offered a dismissive solution of simply cleaning the cooktop, which we'd already done. He then made inappropriate comments about the previous homeowner and his personal desire to buy the house instead of us.
We never received a promised quote for repairs from Utah Appliance Experts. Given this experience, we strongly advise against using their service. -
Our refrigerator developed a problem so we called Appliance Experts, and their technician responded very well. He fixed the problem in about an hour and was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely reach out to this company again if we need help!

Had some issues with scheduling initially, but they were very good about apologizing and even offered a free diagnostic. Overall, the service was great and they were very good about communicating when they would be arriving. My only issue has to do with pricing. They don't list separate items on the invoice for the part and for the labor. It's all grouped into one item which seems a little shady to me (like they're trying to hide costs). Even with my free diagnostic, I felt like the price was quite high. I looked up the price of the part that needed to be replaced, and the total to replace the part was about 200 more than what the part costs. The part only took him about 30 minutes to fix, so either they're up-charging the cost of the part, or their cost for labor is out of control. Or maybe my free diagnostic wasn't so free after all and they added it to the price of the repair. I understand they have a business to run and have to make a profit, but as the customer, I want to know exactly what I'm paying for (how much for labor, and how much for parts). Only time will tell if what they did actually fixed the problem. If not, I'll be updating my review.
Update: Responding to the comment below: Thank you for the explanation. To clear things up, you have a few details wrong. First off, 240.35 + 127.10 is 367.45, not 376.45. And the tech was here from 10:36 to 11:36 and I have video evidence to prove it. The initial fix did take less than 30 minutes. So 127.10 for labor is ridiculous. That's over 250 dollars an hour. I agreed to the extra 50 dollar charge for another fix which took the other 30 minutes. Also, without trying to search for a discount, I found that same part for 200. So you're obviously making money on the parts, which I get. I think a lot of companies charge the customer full msrp, but I stand by my initial review in saying that there's shady stuff going on, and you're trying to hide the labor costs. Each of the things addressed on the fridge took 30 minutes, but 1 cost 127.10, and the other was 50. So in total I paid 177.10 for labor, and who in their right mind would pay that for an hour of work for appliance repair? -
The technician was quick to find the issue with our ice dispenser. And he was obviously well trained. I felt confident in his diagnosis and now we have ice again.

Max is the BEST!! He came to our house in August and fixed an issue with our dryer. He was wonderful and very reasonably priced. This week, we called Utah Appliance Experts again as we had another dryer issue that we assumed was unrelated to our issue in August. Turns out, the issue was related to the work he had done in August. As such, Max told us the work was covered by their warranty, and no cost to us. I cant recommend Max enough - not only b/c he and his team are incredibly professional and kind, but also because he stands behind his word. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

Fast, professional and friendly service. My dryer was making an annoying rattling noise. The technician (Gints) was able to diagnose and fix my dryer within one day. Would definitely recommend his service to anyone having issues with their appliances.

Super easy to schedule an appointment and they were able to come out within a few days (my repair wasn’t urgent). Max was very kind and professional and he was able to get our microwave fixed quickly. Arrived right in the middle of the time window given and gave me a heads up when he was en route. Thank you!

Out of 15 calls, this was the only company that could/ would come within 24 hours. Max was an awesome tech he knew the problem within 5 Min. He is so friendly and good at his job. Price seemed right inline with what I thought. Fantastic customer skills by the office! Highly recommended

So my expert barely spoke English. I told him that a fan or motor wouldn't stay on. He then got a copper pipe with some electrical tape and put it on the machine. I asked him what that was for and he wouldn't tell me. After that the condenser fan came on. After that he says we'll it needs to be cleaned professionally. I told him 3 months ago it was cleaned. As he was looking in the top I saw him change the depth of the ice screw. He didn't know I knew what that screw was for. He said 375 dollars to clean. We denied it. I then did a automatic clean and then restarted the machine. The use was so thick from him adjusting the screw it wouldn't drop and turned off. He wouldn't tell me what he was doing and why. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. The ice cube size was perfect before he turned it bigger. I know that much about the depth of the ice. He left before it would even drop ice to make sure the machine worked .

I was able to get my oven fixed within the same week that I called- YAY! They were also very prompt about responding to my online service request and text which I greatly appreciated. When trying to work with someone else to fix another appliance, they didn’t respond to my call or my online request for over a week. I would definitely recommend!

Service was amazing! We called and had an appointment the very next day. Our washing machine wasn't draining properly. Gints took apart our washing machine, fixed the problem, and cleaned up very nicely! (Polished our washing machine and it looked brand new!) So appreciative of their expertise and fast service. Very friendly and personable. Service was above and beyond and will be using them again for our appliances. Thank you!!
