Jordan arrived shortly after 9am to install a new dishwasher, he removed the old one and installed the new one with no issues. He tested the new dishwasher and found no issues with it and then cleaned up after himself. Truly an awesome employee.

I have been using Famous for about 5 years now and they have been great. Luke has come out before and he came out today to work on our refrigerator and did a great job.

Luke was an awesome technician. He was prompt and gave us all the info we needed on our fridge repair.

Poor customer service and poor techs.

Called them because my dishwasher just stopped working. I had checked my fuse box downstairs and knew it wasn't that.
Their guy came out and said we'd need a new computer board... $800.
I decided not to spend that much to fix it and paid the $70 service call.

A few weeks later, a plumber friend pulls the dishwasher out to look at it and give a second opinion.
The dishwasher was plugged into a GFCI outlet, and it had tripped. He pushed 'reset'.
That was it! Probably something a professional repair person should have caught for $70 per 30 min.
Big difference between a new computer and a reset button. 🙄

It's working now.
$70 for absolutely nothing, and they wouldn't even refund part of the service call.

I'll start out by saying we have used Famous for years with no issue. I called to have some appliances looked at for a small apartment building. I explained the issues in detail to the very kind woman on the phone highlighting the fact it was a small apartment building and would be two separate units needing assistance. She quoted me the price and we set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from the office letting me know the technician was there but asked for a few details that were already provided on the initial phone call. After giving the information she requested, she let me know that the price would be double the initial quote and explained it away as the first person I called was new and wasn't aware of the policy. As I had tenants taking off work to be on site while work was being performed during the specific time frame I was provided, I asked if there was anything we could do to honor what i was originally quoted (and followed up with via voicemail later that day) to which I received a very hasty NO!. I ended up agreeing to one unit to not waste the time of the tenant.
I can completely understand mistakes with new employees and think the initial point of contact was great, but the response received from a more established employee was deplorable and showed a clear lack of training from the company to their new employees. This will be the last time we use Famous Appliance Service for and personal or business service.

He came promptly and got the job done so I could get my Thanksgiving dinner prepared!

Luke did a great job fixing my fridge. It's been five months since he fixed it and we haven't had any issues. I would recommend.

Mark was a great technician and I thought he thoroughly checked our issue and fixed it.

Mark installed and uninstalled an undercounted panel ready ice maker with a drain pump from GE. This ice maker had notorious problems and he took the time to ensure it was done properly. I had other companies not give attention to detail and then would fail.

Ronnie was super helpful with answering all of my questions and helped me learn so much more about washers. Definitely will use Famous Appliance for future needs!

Mark was amazing. He came and located the problem, got the parts ordered, and came back and fixed it with ease. I plan to refer this company to others in need.

The technician was thorough and efficient. I will definitely call them again if I have an appliance repair.

Jake M was great! He was on time and assessed the problem quickly and ordered a factory part to fix my ice maker. When the part arrived he called right away to let me know it was in and scheduled a time to install it. He was on time to install and worked quickly and was very tidy. He was very personable and went the extra mile to check the other components in the ice maker and clean them up as well as replacing the part. I highly recommend him and his company, Famous Appliance Service for appliance repair work!

Total rip off by a non trained apprentice
Called his boss 5 times to help him figure out the issue. Told me the price of the part was 168.00 I found it for 30.00
It was the wrong part any ways called a real repair person ,fixed it for 250.00 instead of 433.00 they quoted. Stay away!!!

Josh was great! He worked fast, answered all my questions, was prompt and efficient. He even had the parts to fix it in his car so he was able to get it fixed right away. Thanks for being amazing! You should get a raise. :)

Famous appliances has been fantastic to work with over the years. Their technicians are extremely professional, and I trust their recommendations. Ronnie Haywood came today and was extremely fast, smart and courteous. Fixed sour dishwasher quickly and made great recommendations.

Ronnie was the best. He figured out my issue in no time. Explained what he was doing and why. Gave me tips to avoid problems again and then also waited to make sure my dishwasher was working right before he left. Highly recommend these guys for all your repair needs.

My refrigerator needed a new evaporator and compressor. We received excellent service completed in a timely manner. We are very pleased.

Replaced the drain pump on our Electrolux front-load washing machine. Showed up the day we called. Also gave the washer a thorough inspection and cleaning.
