I met Jon and Cathy at a home show in Sandy. I ended up hiring them to redo our bathroom. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. Great price and fast results.

John was great to work with. He helped us to stay within our budget while still providing excellent quality cabinets for our basement kitchen. We highly recommend this company.

Jon and Cathie are so easy to work with and knowledgeable I wouldn't even think of using anyone else. They always are on top of things and have the answers I need, which can be hard to find in the construction industry. They have one of the best showrooms in Utah, which is very helpful for customer making design choices.

Our 40-year-old kitchen was definitely in need of a remodel. Jon was recommended by a neighbor. He was great to work with and our new kitchen is fantastic.

Cathie has helped design our kitchen renovations in both of our homes, and recently supplied the perfect statement tile for a new business we are opening. She's been extremely communicative, responsive, and delivers a fantastic end product. I won't go with anyone else.

I have had the pleasure to work with Jon on multiple projects. He is a very detail oriented and a fantastic Designer. Everything turns out so beautiful. What sets Design N Mind apart is their deep understanding of both design and the practicalities of construction. FYI they also have a beautiful Design Center.

What a great company to work with. Our kitchen had to be totally gutted after a pipe leak. Jon came and talked to us at length as to what our needs were. He created a design based on our conversation. We met at the showroom and picked out cabinets, countertops, flooring along with backsplash and sink. Cabinets arrived quickly and were placed in the area. The countertops were measured by Jon's sub-contractor and arrived within 2 weeks. The completed kitchen is a dream come true. Every special cabinet, each added feature are things I never would have imagined. Jon made our kitchen so much more functional and pleasant to work in.
Thank you Jon ❤️. Jeannie and Carol

Cathy was amazing! One conversation about our style and she prepared a rendering exactly in line with what we were looking for. At the end of the day, everything came out perfect. All of the related contractors were extremely professional and the work was of the highest quality. Can't recommend enough.

Cathie Coleman from Design N Mind Interiors was a true gem during our kitchen renovation. She spent ample time with us, expertly guiding us in selecting new appliances, gorgeous countertops, a stunning backsplash, and perfect lighting. Cathie also helped us choose the ideal paint colors that brought everything together beautifully. Her talent and dedication transformed our space, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend her for any interior design project!

His experience, expertise, attention to detail, and promptness in handling my project ensured everything turned out exactly how I planned. If you are looking for someone you can trust in every element of design, pricing, and quality, Jon is at the top of the industry. Do yourself and your project a favor, and hire Jon. Five stars!!!

I can not say enough good about Jon @ Design N Mind. We woke up to every homeowner's nightmare, our house had flooded and ruined everything. The damage was so bad that it had to be demoed down to the studs.Luckily we found Jon, he really listened to what we wanted, and my husband and I have very different taste, and he designed us the most beautiful home we both love. I never thought I would have such a beautiful kitchen, and my husband loves his movie room with bar that he designed for him. Jon took us from our worst nightmare to our dream home, I would highly recommend Jon to everyone.
Thank you Jon

I did a complete kitchen remodel(appliances, cabinets, countertops, sink, flooring). I had zero experience and Jon McG,ill took my ideas and turned them into a beautifully designed kitchen.
From concept, to design, to ordering, and finally to install, Jon walked me through every step of the process. He had the right connections to finding great prices on materials and contractors to do the installs that I didn't do myself. What started as a very stressful process, with Jon's talent at design, his experience in the process of remodeling, and professionalism, it ended up making my experience an enjoyable one.
He was able to answer any questions I had, and if he couldn't answer, he steered me to someone who could give me great advice.
With his passion for design, professionalism, and knowledge, I highly recommend Design N Mind Interiors if you're looking to do a remodel. You will not be disappointed!

Jon did an amazing kitchen renovation, from perfect measurements with talking over the phone to picking out colors. The design was amazing. Delivery was perfect and he coordinated with our contractor who was installing. Even our contractors loved the kitchen. Who would have thought one would hire a designer out of state!

I highly recommend Design N Mind. After living in my new kitchen for several months, I can confidently say it is as functional as it is beautiful.
Jon McGill designed and completed our kitchen in September 2025 and also designed a stunning fireplace surround. Thanks to his thoughtful planning, we were able to enjoy our refreshed home throughout the holidays and beyond.
Every cabinet is purposeful and well-designed. Jon truly listened to my husband and me, creating a custom kitchen that maximizes space while maintaining a timeless look. He guided us through product selections with patience and generosity — and even helped us navigate the occasional difference of opinion with humor and grace.
From ceiling-height cabinets to a bright, functional corner cabinet and a cleverly designed pull-out pantry, every detail works perfectly for our needs. The trade professionals he works with were equally excellent — reliable, skilled, and respectful in our home.
We are grateful for the experience and thrilled with the results.
