We love Anchor!!! I am the Vendor Coordinator for Legacy Court Apartments and we exclusively use Anchor for carpet cleaning. They do an excellent job! We also call them if we have a flood. They arrive quickly and get right down to business. The entire staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Anchor Restoration!!

I had been nervous about having my carpets cleaned because I have parrots, who have sensitive respiratory systems. But the team at Anchor relieved my nerves throughout the process. Frank and Jake took terrific care of cleaning my carpets. They were professional, friendly and terrific. My pets are fine and the carpets look great!

I had Frank come out and clean my carpets, and he did a fabulous job in a great amount of time. He also cleaned my sofa and chairs. The carpets dried quickly, and he was careful to place guards on corners so as not to damage walls and furniture. He left a thank-you package (prepared by his wonderful wife for their clients), and they even followed up with me later to make sure that I was happy. Awesome job, and a wonderful company to do business with. Professional, friendly and honest. Love them!

Anchor did an excellent job on our carpets. Frank was thorough and very friendly. You won't find a better company to do your carpets, and the quality is outstanding! About a month ago, my wife pulled a white dress out of a seldom-used corner closet, only to notice that it was covered with black mold and that the closet walls and molding were covered too. Oh no, we thought, we've not only got a mold problem, but may have a seepage problem as well - and the last thing we need is another expensive restoration in our old house. We had just finished a year-long job for a sewage backup in our basement and felt so depressed to now have this problem. I began making calls.

Sure enough, the first two places I talked with essentially said "Yep, you've got a leak or a seepage problem. We'll do a mold test, then remediation, and then potentially significant reparations to that part of your house..."

Depressed and wanting a third opinion, I searched and searched to find someone with a great reputation for both expertise and honesty. I came up with Frank Rudarmel, at Anchor Restoration. One of the best decisions I've made.

First of all, Frank shocked me by returning my Saturday afternoon call that evening. I was sure I wouldn't hear back until "business hours" on Monday or Tuesday. He asked good questions, was a good listener, and didn't jump to conclusions or try to sell me on anything. Instead, he told me he'd try to squeeze me in for a visit as soon as he could on Monday or Tuesday and asked if I'd send him some pictures, in the meantime, so he could get a better feel for the situation - which I did.

The next day (yeah, Sunday), he called to ask a few more questions, if I didn't mind. Sure, I said, not believing how much he cared about helping me - even over the weekend. He asked: "Do you live in an old house, with concrete outer walls and lathe and plaster inner walls?

Wondering how he could tell that from my pictures, I answered "yes..." Frank then asked if we had packed the closet pretty full with clothing and possibly with other things leaning against the walls. I began to suspect where he was heading, but again said "yes..." Frank then said basically "I don't think you need me. Your problem is simple: when it's cold outside and warm inside, you get condensation on the inside, which is not evaporating, since you've packed stuff against the walls. Empty your closet, clean with Scrubbing Bubbles, let it dry, put your stuff back, but leave room for the walls to breathe and for air to circulate. That should do it, but if it doesn't, give me a call."

Shocked I asked if I owed him anything for his remote inspection and he said "no."

I'm still shocked. He could have taken us for thousands of dollars of unneeded repairs and we wouldn't have known the difference. He could have at least charged for the remote assessment. He didn't even want my surprised praise. That's just how he does business.
