Paul and his crew have been great to work with. Paul is very responsive to my texts and questions. I have been remodeling my new to me 60 year old house. He has remodeled my bathroom and another room in the house. He has had to use his expert problem solving skills to work with this old house. He has been very flexible to my changes and listens to my thoughts about the design. I am about to start another project with this company.

Paul was great to work with. He was on time everyday he was scheduled to come work in my kitchen. I had him put some Ikea cabinets in and he did great! He even made some custom pieces for the countertop and my kitchen looks great. He always asked for my opinion on certain parts where normally others would just do it the way they always do without asking for the owners opinion. I would definitely hire him and his crew

John and Paul did an excellent job on my basement remodel. Added a kitchen, bathroom, laundry closet, soundproofing, new flooring, and a whole lot more. Everything looks great!

Paul and his team did a great job remodeling our downstairs shower. Although it was a small job, they were understanding of what we wanted done, were flexible to work with, and kept us in the loop with what was going on during the process.

Paul and Carl replaced my water heater quick when it went out. And when the water heater was giving weird errors the next day, Carl came out and fixed it right away. His work was clean, thorough, and thoughtful. I’m definitely using them again

Paul and John are awesome! I needed a couple walls torn down, one being load bearing with new beams and posts installed. They followed engineering plans exactly and did solid work. They also relocated a basement staircase and rebuilt new stairs. Along with these major construction projects they were able to handle all the electrical and HVAC issues that came up once the walls and ceilings were opened up. They were priced very competitively and were able to get started quickly and stayed on schedule throughout. I'm very happy with the remodel work they did.

Overall, the work they provided was fantastic, they were very communicative every step of the way, and they were flexible in changing plans to meet my needs all while working to stay within my budget. I highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again for future projects!

Paul & John did a wonderful job on a custom built-in fireplace for our basement. From start to finish communicated well & worked with us on changes we wanted to make. Came in on budget & finished quicker than expected. Would recommend them to anyone.

Paul and his team removed the all of the flooring in my house in two days. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves each day. They were respectful of our space. Paul is knowledgeable and explained what it would take to refinish vs install new. Now I am having his team design a full new kitchen. The plans are looking so good. It’s nice working with a team the can do design work, construction, and finish carpentry.

I hired Paul and his team to complete a total basement remodel. Paul, Carl and John were always friendly and helpful if I had any questions. They turned an old 70’s basement into an absolute cozy mother in law apartment. They were so patient with me trying to make decision and adding additional projects. They ran into a mess of electrical work that was outdated and they completely brought everything up to code. They care about their clients and it shows in their work and quality. The job was completed on budget and above my expectations. Paul Rudd would be the best contractor for any of your projects, he gets back to you quickly and communicate throughout the whole thing. After my family saw my area they will be calling him for their projects they need completed in the future. They loved it!

Rudd was super quick and easy to work with. He is helping us convert our detached garage into an art studio. It’s a cinder block building and needs to become fully weather sealed. He came and gave us a free estimate and created a really detailed itemized proposal with material and labor costs broken down. There were lots of options and he has been very flexible with us for timing of breaking the project into parts. When we started he fit us in the schedule and he and his guys knocked out the first phase in two days! They left the place really clean so we could get to work. We’ll definitely be using him for the rest of the project. So glad we found him.

This was the first time I've hired a contractor to do construction work and I was somewhat nervous with how things would go. I did some research and went with Paul and his team based on the high ratings on Google.

I was not disappointed and they definitely lived up to their five star ratings. Firstly, Paul came out to my place for free to do some measurements and give me a quote. The quote was incredibly detailed and included all the material costs along with links to products at nearby stores that they would use for the project which really increased the transparency. Once the dates were set, Paul was super communicative and flexible throughout the whole process. I had to push one day back because I couldn't be home and they were able to accommodate that just fine. At the end of it all, billing was super easy too and was able to pay straight from my bank.

All the logistics aside, the work itself was awesome too. Carl and Paul both did fantastic work and I am very pleased with the results! It wasn't the most exciting project as it was ripping out some built in drywall shelves, patching the holes in the drywall, and installing a new outlet so I don't have before/after pictures sadly, but just know I am really pleased with how the basement looks now! I can highly recommend Salt Lake City Contractors/ Rudd Builders for your future projects!
