On May of this year, this company was hired by West Valley City Code Enforcement Division to do an abatement in my property for reasons which seemed fishy to me (I went to court against the city). They cleaned up the trash--which was for the greater part building material and remodeling trash...which my family was planning on throwing away at some point anyway. All of these things were on the yard inside the fence not visible to the general public. It is my property but my parents live there.

The city used this company to clean the property which is all fine and good. I understand why they did that. Except this company charged the city 4727.50$. They were in my house for 2 hours. There was not much to clean up. This is way overpriced! I called them to see why it was so expensive and they told me since their customer was the city, they couldn't tell me why (funny thing is, I am required to pay for the expense).

My family went to court against the city to see if they could void the amount. Unfortunately we lost. Since the city had already spent that amount on the abatement, they required us to pay for it. If I don't pay there is going to be a lien in my house and debt will increase with interest.

I have contacted other companies that do garbage pick-up and they cost substantially less. According to other companies I have spoken, the same job that Maddox construction did, they would have charged me around 350 - 500 dollars.

If you are a city employee, please pick another company to do abatements. There is no reason why you should ask families to pay 10 times as much unnecessarily. We do not all make that much money that fast.

I hate writing this and no doubt it will cause this discomfort to the people at Maddox...but I think it is necessary to avoid future others some financial pain.

Maddox Construction is run by a team of professionals who know construction, scheduling, and methods to get work done. As a subcontractor to them I was very impressed with their working relationship with us. Red Hendrickson.

Maddox is the best General conctractor Utah Curbing works for! They care about their clients and all of their subs. For over 8 years we have worked with them, from big projects ( Taco Bell’s and KFC’s) to large homes or small homes, they take care of everyone the same. Highly recommend this guys!!!

We have a commercial place built out with Maddox. Their group is nothing but professional since day 1 when they came out for a bid. The building process is on schedule and very easy to work with the superindent onsite to coordinate progress and questions. I enjoyed working with Kaden and Jeremy and this store build out is the smoothiest, on time and least stressful construction project I have ever done.

As an Electrical Contractor we had our first project with Kaden and his team in the NE Wyoming area. It was very well handled and organized from an admin side. They were friendly and efficient to work with. Maddox quick to share information and any issues that presented the schedule with a challenge so we could work together to remediate any conflicts to the schedule. Delta Wye looks forward to working with Maddox again soon!

I had a different experience with this company, they went above and beyond and helped us out when one of our motorcycles broke down on our trip heading to California from Wyoming. It says a lot about people when they stop everything to help someone out, just out of pure kindness and not asking anything in return. These folks are honest and #1 in my book. Great experience at this home depot

I generally love Home Depot for the products they carry. It is very convenient! My review is for a carpet purchase only. I spent $3000 on in stock carpet because they told me it would be "installed WITHIN 10 days" upon payment in full. Once I paid in full, they called to schedule the installation a few days later and the soonest date was 20 days out. It was the installers who called to schedule, so I called Home Depot to see why the mix up. I was told "Sorry, we used to install within 5 days." I'm wondering how that helps me exactly! They promised something they couldn't deliver and didn't offer any compensation for it. I was scheduled to put the home up for sale but had to sit around and wait 20 days which put me pretty far behind. Very disappointed for sure. I spent 2 hours after the installers left cleaning up carpet and staples they left all over my house.

So happy that I went with Tyler to do our flooring! He came and gave us an estimate right away and literally got to work on our floors the very next day! The pricing was great and I can’t believe how quick our floors were done! We are super happy with how they turned out and they look perfect! I would definitely recommend have Tyler stop by if you’re thinking of having any flooring work done!

Tyler and his team were very professional and installed nearly 3000 sq ft of engineered hardwood in our home. Trademark was fast and reliable, but most of all, honest. I had some concerns about different flooring heights but he assured me he would take care of the problem and did! Large renovations are nerve wracking, so we were happy to have found a professional that made us feel comfortable with our rather pricey investment of hardwood in his hands. I will be promoting his business to anyone that asks in the future.

Couldn't have been simpler...picked out the carpet I wanted, the color I wanted set up a install date and was installed the following week. Looks great and I'm happy.
