Melvin and his team are extremely professional and highly skilled in their work. The types of work I have hired them for include electrical, drywall repair, painting, and large tree removal. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction and I highly recommend their services!

Melvin came and helped install an oven hood and fan which turned out to be more complicated than we thought since the original hood was hard-wired and didn’t have an electrical outlet. But Melvin knew how to resolve the issue by installing an electrical outlet for the unit to plug into. He is very knowledgeable in all things “fix or repair” and was very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely use Melvin again for whatever future jobs come up. Highly recommend!

They did a great job painting the entire condo and kitchen cabinets. Everything looks great because they used quality materials and no cheap shortcuts.

They have great simple ideas for cost savings and did not up-charge for unnecessary work. Additionally they did a few minor things here and there free of cost.

Invoicing and contract was via email and walkthroughs before and after were great to ensure everything was done as agreed upon.

We used Freedom Plus to re-do our primary bathroom - new subfloor, new tiles, and new vanity. They also did some drywall repair. The entire team was very professional and did a great job for a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again for any future general contracting needs!

If you are looking for a qualified, dedicated, meticulous contractor, Freedom Plus will definitely fit your criteria. Arrived promptly everyday to begin work and cleaned up the work area before leaving for the evening. Everyday walked us through what was accomplished and what the next work day would entail. We had a basement bathroom renovated, dining room refreshed with picture molding and fresh paint to walls and ceiling. Even had cracks in the plaster wall repaired to where the cracks are no longer visible! The craftsmanship is remarkable with the framing work in the dining room. The bathroom entailed installing a new vanity, new shelving, new paint and rearranging the plumbing to accommodate the placement of the vanity and shelving. Again, perfect attention to detail! Also involved relocating the plumbing coming into the house to have a more centralized access to the house shutoff valve and pressure valve. Plumber was amazing, beautiful work!! Also a new bathroom window was installed. If you want quality work and craftsmanship, you can’t go wrong with Freedom Plus!

He went above and beyond with extra installations like a peg board and an in-the-wall cubby at no cost to my wife and I. Terrible company. Started project in February 2024 and still have not completed 8 months later. Ordered wrong cabinets then gave me the runaround to order the correct ones. They overbook then don’t have time to complete a phase of the project in a timely fashion. Please do not use them…not reliable at all. I am now ordering my own parts and will hire a new contractor because I cannot wait any longer for my project to be completed. I made every payment that they demanded for on time which I think was foolish. Lessons learned!

Unlike most contractors, FKBD was extremely organized and paid attention to ALL the details. Susan and Rafi were a pleasure to work with and made the project feel seamless from start to finish..... and the results speak for themselves. They completed two full bathroom remodels, top to bottom, and a kitchen backsplash in record time. I had my place completed and on the market a week sooner than I expected. Like any large job, there were a few hiccups, but Rafi was so on top of it, they were being fixed and corrected before I could even call to tell them about it.
