I am really satisfied with the quality of work William completed in my home. I had varied projects that needed to be taken care of, including replacing my kitchen sink, retiling my bathroom shower, and fixing closet shelving, and he was able to do it all within a few days. I’m so glad I found Expert Handyman and will definitely be using them again for whatever else inevitably needs repair in my home in future. They can do it all!

Expert Handyman said they had Master Technicians but they had better than master techs! I needed some tough small jobs done that three other companies could not complete and that includes a window company! Marcelo and Marco tackled them like it was a walk in the park. They are innovative, quick and work totally in synch with each other completing a multitude of tasks in a short time. I couldn't have asked for better service and value. Expert Handyman, Marcelo and Marco are my "go to" from now on.

From the begining Monica was very quick and responsive to my on-line request. We had sold our house and had a few items that needed to be addressed that came up on inspection. It is always a little scary to try a new home service, especially with the tighter turn around that we needed. Monica understood our situation and provided detailed invoices and was very responsive to all of our questions. Raul, our technician, was great! He was prompt, at the front door exactly at the agreed upon time and worked with me to come up with a plan for repairing the drywall work that had been damaged as part of some electrical repair we had done. He finished on time and was responsive throughout the day he was onsite. I would absolutely work with them again

Great Customer Service and quality of work. From the initial call Brittany made the estimate process very easy and quick. She quickly provided extra documents I needed for my association board. William and Marco showed up on time, quickly assessed the work, organized their plan and got started. William dealt with some very old plumbing to change out a vanity and facets and was a master at ensuring everything went well. Marco installed bathroom lights ensuring they were level and working before finalizing the job. During the work I decided to change what we were doing – a quick call to Brittany and within minutes the new work was quoted and authorized. Marco did great work filling a large hole in the wall after we took out the recessed medicine cabinet. It was in a sheetrock wall which is not easy to work with. He meticulously put in the drywall, taped, spackled and sanded. He did multiple iterations of the spackle and sanding taking no shortcuts. Same thorough work with the painting – primer and final coat. The wall looks great. I highly recommend Expert Handyman, everyone was professional and customer service focused, they did great work at a reasonable price

I am in the process of doing a DYI bathroom remodel and needed help installing a new vanity top and faucet to my existing vanity. I called Expert Handyman and was very impressed with their process. I received an estimate via email and was on their schedule a few days later. The two workers who did the job were very friendly and professional. They did a great job! Will definitely use this company again for future projects.

After providing ample video and information to get an accurate estimate on water damage due to flooding in DC; they gave me a bad quote (told me there was no water damage and they could give me a new drain system and replace some floors where there had been staining previously. Unfortunately there was water damage and because of how long they took it turned into mold. I had asked the estimators to check for water and mold damage but they said there was no need. I trusted them and it wasn’t until they came to do the repairs they found additional damage. They overcharged me in comparison to other contractors (by $3000). But I was stuck since they were already on site. They tried to say I was unresponsive and that’s why the damage got worst, although I have evidence to the contrary, especially knowing I wouldn’t want water damage in my house because of the ramifications. They aren’t worth the price or time. I never write reviews but I don’t want anyone to experience what I did. The quality of work was good; however, that doesn’t make up for the weeks and weeks of stress I dealt with, the fact that the estimator was awful and management isn’t supportive at all. Don’t waste your time or money. You can get the same quality at better prices with better people

We needed work done in between tenants, I was able to coordinate everything virtually with Brittany, she made everything so easy and was able to quickly get me on the schedule. Marcelo provided great quality work, and their pricing is reasonable! I will for sure call them for anything else we need done in the future!

Expert Handyman installed drywall to cover the popcorn ceilings in our 3 bedrooms and painted both the ceilings and the 3 bedrooms since the walls required painting after the ceiling work. Carlos and Omar did an excellent job. The ceilings and walls look great. While this was dirty work, they covered everything and did their best to manage the dust. They were professional and responsive. We would highly recommend Expert Handyman.

We've used Expert Handyman a few times now, for ceiling fan installation, minor plumbing fixes and some electrical work. Both William and Marcelo were courteous and friendly, and got to work quickly. Extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. Highly recommend.

Amazing handyman service. We had previously done a large job with this company-- entirely upgrading two bathrooms-- and they did a fantastic job. We decided to give them a try for some small odds and ends we needed help with (cabinet work, blinds, locks) and once again the Handyman team (and specifically James and Oscar) did a fantastic job. Professional, skilled, and quick. And the office support was perfect-- responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with when scheduling (and in our case, rescheduling). Would highly recommend this handyman service company to anyone needing help with projects small to large.
Make sure you understand the terms if you just have a small job-- there's a 2 hour minimum charge for their first visit. (Estimates, however, are free).

We could not be more pleased with the job done on our bathroom remodel project by Expert Handyman. Our main crew, William and Marco, are excellent craftsmen, very professional, and worked very hard. They started and finished the job on time. They were respectful of our property, and kept the work area clean. They kept us informed of any issues that arose, all of which were minor, and solicited our input to ensure we were happy with what they were doing.

The only minor---and very minor---hiccup with the project involved the final step, the installation of the shower doors (different crew than William and Marco). The crew did not show up on the day scheduled. After we inquired, the office manager followed up immediately and explained there had been a miscommunication with the crew. They came first thing the next morning and did a great job. They were also very apologetic. Again, a very minor issue and not a big deal at all, but we very much appreciate the responsiveness of the company and the immediate followup.

In sum, all our contacts with the company were quite positive, from folks in the office, to the work crews, to the president of the company (who personally checked on the project twice to ensure all was on track and we were happy). These folks are top notch! It was our first experience with them, but it won't be the last.

I needed some drywall patching and painting done and Marcelo did it perfectly! Was told they'd arrive between 11-11:30 and they showed up at 11:15 and immediately got to work. Extremely polite and professional and not to mention fast! The whole thing was done in no time. Will definitely use them again next time I need work done.

I called the company and told them a tree had fallen on my fence. Very promptly and the same day I was given an insurance estimate to perform the work. It was reasonable and very well done. I will utilize them to perform the work as they gave me a detailed explanation of the work that needed to be done to rectify the damage created by the tree. The professionalism and prompt response that I received made me feel that I was their top priority even though my job was small compared to many other customers that they may contract with for services. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of services related to your property.

Great experience with getting a handrail re-attached, along with other previous projects. They were efficient, helpful and professional. Got the job done, while I was working in my office. Marcelo was excellent and I hope to have him doing some work for me in the future. Will recommend!

They provided a reasonable estimate and stuck to it for the work (repairing a couple windows). William was great and made sure I understood what he had done and my options for repair. They were also easy to coordinate the job, providing an estimate from photos and setting up everything online. I worked with Brittany who was friendly and responsive.

Marcelo and Marco were professional and punctual. We were having issues with our sink leaking and also needed grout replacement; they did a thorough examination, the issue turned out not to be as serious as we thought it would be, and they completed excellent work, turning around much quicker than we had initially anticipated. Brittany in the office then worked with us to revise and reduce the original quote because the job turned out to be less involved. Highly recommend.

The carpenters from Expert Handyman & Remodeling, William and Marcelo, had a serious challenge. They needed to build a stair railing in my rental townhouse before a city inspection that afternoon. I had gotten good advice and picked everything up from TW Perry a few days before, so all the necessary materials (handrail, posts, balusters, rosettes, hardware) were on site. William & Marcelo set up their saw in the back patio, so most sawdust stayed outside. They set up drop cloths covering the whole first floor and whenever they did drill or cut inside, they frequently ran their shop vac beside the drill so there was no cleanup at the end for me or my tenants to deal with.

In other situations, I might have left the job and been available by phone in case questions arose, but this time I stayed so was able to decide right away on a few issues that came up, which was probably key.

With the inspection less than an hour away, William and Marcelo kindly agreed to postpone their lunch break to complete the last section of railing so it would be done before the inspection. Then they cleared everything out of the way and left and the inspector arrived for the moment of truth. The house passed inspection with flying colors.

Then the crew came back after lunch for a final hour of tightening, sanding & puttying, and quality checking. William and Marcel did a fantastic job, as did the folks I worked with in the Expert Handyman office estimating and scheduling the work and in addressing the time sensitivity in this case. Well done!

I had the pleasure of scheduling with Monica who got me an appointment nearly the next day to complete some brick and grout work around a new firebox and install a mantel. William and Marco showed up on time and completed the work perfectly and even tighten a loose faucet on the way out. I’m already planning out my next work for them. On-time, well priced, quality work completed quickly and with care. Can’t ask for more than that.

Marcelo did a great job. Service was easy and straightforward. I sent photos for an estimate contract. A week later, the tech called and asked if he could come early. He was professional, completed a site survey before hitting the store and returning. He completed the job in less time than I expected and went out of his way to cleanup afterward. He even made some recommendations for me to do a few other things myself that saved me some money. A+

Marcelo was on time, efficient, & knowledgeable. He patched some tricky drywall & created an access panel in our garage ceiling. Very helpful in the correct placement of it also. 3rd time we’ve used Expert Handyman and been more than happy with all of their work.

I have used Expert Handyman and Remodeling twice. Both times they were very professional. The technician Raul was on time and did a great job with the project. The office staff I dealt with was also very good. I corresponded with Monica in the office, both by phone and Email. Great customer service all the way around. No surprises with billing; it came in right at the estimate. I highly recommend them.
