This company gaslit us on so many occasions, it was unsettling. They did not start the project until nearly the proposed end date stated on the original contract. Our contractor did not adequately help us with measurements and materials as stated, underlined with italics , in the contract. Whenever we would bring up issues and concerns, they were never fully addressed. In one situation, they intended to leave our house fully exposed to the elements in winter so that any animal could come in, and they didn’t even notice when they left the job for the day. They weren’t planning to come back until after the weekend. I had to request that they come back and fix it. There are always unexpected issues that come up in renovations, and we understand that. This was not our first major renovation. We were very patient on many occasions, afraid to make any major complaints while working for fear that they may abandon the job or retaliate. A 3 month job got done in 6 months due to a lack of communication and lack of professionalism in this company. We have plenty of texts and photos for support. The job got done, but they should not be in the Best Pick Reports for Fairfax County 2025.

Your response is inaccurate as I have photos and texts of your lack of response. This has nothing to do with previous experiences. We all understand that issues come up, but our contractor literally would not schedule a time to meet. Again, your contractor is literally left our house exposed to the outside and plan to leave it that way until I called you. That in itself is a major issue. Also, the cabinet you installed are already crooked less than a few months later.

EDITED: While the renovation looked great and the bathroom appeared wonderful on the outside, there were problems with the plumbing. In less than six months (well within the year window of reporting issues) there was a major clog and a plumber had to come out to unclog and fix plumbing that was installed incorrectly. I reached out to Omar and he said everything was installed correctly, my plumber disagreed. $2,500 later (which is more than 10% of the project cost) I have to downgrade the previous review I gave.

All Renovations installed a new bathroom for me and added a closet to create a bedroom. I am pleased with the work and they were easy to communicate with. I would recommend them.

After reviewing several estimates from various remodeling companies to finish our basement, we selected All-Renovations and are very happy with the results. All-Renovations assigned Adrian to do the work and he did a great job! We really liked his daily communication with us on the progress of our project. He conferred with us if he had any questions as well as provided recommendations on another way of implementing our vision which was usually an improvement. Adrian is also a good listener to ideas/tweaks we had some of which were implemented and the ones which were not, he provided reasons as to why. As a result, we relied upon his judgement in most cases. He ensured we were happy with all phases of the installation. He also cleaned up the work site at the end of each day storing away his tools. The quality of his work is excellent. We recommend All-Renovations to anyone thinking of using them!

Finding an experienced and reliable company to renovate our entire home was a bit stressful. We recently had a sunroom addition built by All Renovations and were very pleased with the result. They worked with us as partners throughout the entire process and always respected our input and changes when requested. Plus they were able to easily overcome what seemed to be difficult obstacles. They offer quality at a very reasonable price and we would not hesitate to hire them again.

We hired this company to renovate and reconfigure our primary suite to have a full spacious bathroom and walk in closet. We were initially extremely excited to have saved up just enough to do the work. The end result is beautiful, but getting here was a challenge we are not sure we would take on again. In general, we just barely surpassed their minimum job value and we felt it in every turn. From day 1 my husband and I had to project manage while working full time, having two young girls and multiple pets. Communication was limited and fairly unprofessional from the project lead Tony. He never shared contact info with me, generally never let us know what time he was working, what days he would work (including a Saturday he showed up unannounced and another day he arrived at 5pm and was disgruntled when we asked him to stop working at 9pm), hardly ever told me what materials were needed unless I asked or it was “urgent” (and then often not used for days). From start to finish, we had to correct details, point out plumbing leaks (even after the final inspection) and deep dive into the fine print of the contract for a few disagreements. Furthermore they never brought a dumpster or a Porto John. They just piled all their trash in the corner of our yard and even dumped all the foundation dirt and rubble in our backyard along our fence line! When we when we insisted they remove it from our flower beds and fairly new privacy fence, it took days, multiple reminders and attitude, which basically killed any further working relationship. The funny thing is that if they had asked, I could had directed them to a huge hole in the yard to fill. In terms of restrooms, this is hard. You don’t want people to be uncomfortable and inconvenienced, but allowing them to use the only bathroom for my family, while keeping pets secured is extremely hard. I allowed the first worker or two to use the bathroom, after it, our Estimator, told me his team was responsible for taking breaks to go to nearby facilities, and after that it was a free for all whether we were home or not. This made me uncomfortable working primarily from home on my own, was disruptive for meetings and was not safe for my pets or from my pets. And many more biggish and little things that would just make this review too much.

Maybe this all sounds normal to you, maybe not. Just trying to give an honest and thorough review so that people can make true decision based on more than nice photos and a tag line. I will say however that Tony’s son Ank is a great worker, professional, polite and communicative and I would absolutely hire him for work again! However in summary, next time we have a project we will look elsewhere than All Renovations.

Top quality worksmanship and great value; theirs was the lowest and most reasonable bid by far. The All Renovations team was responsive to feedback, including quickly fixing all nits on our punch list at the end of the project. We really enjoyed working with Jim (our PM) and Tony (the on site manager) as well. Would recommend to anyone who is considering a home addition project.

All Ronovations fully renovated our basement. Their customer service was great, from the initial estimate to the final walk-through. The job was completed at a very reasonable price, on-time, and in a very professional manner without any surprises (price hikes). Clearly deserving of our 5-star rating.

They helped us finish our basement into a multipurpose room, bedroom, bathroom, and an unfinished storage area, about 800 square feet total. Their pricing was very competitive, and all of the work was completed by qualified technicians and properly inspected.

If you are looking for a large crew to be in your home every day and finish as quickly as possible, this may not be the right fit. However, if you have some flexibility in your schedule, the cost savings can be significant and well worth it.

It is important to clearly understand upfront which materials you will be responsible for purchasing, but once expectations are set, the process is straightforward.

We really appreciated the family business feel and enjoyed having their team in our home. Everyone was respectful, professional, and easy to work with throughout the project.
