I have hired these guys to add two door garage to my house and they did a magnificent job

Potts Brothers did an excellent job building custom built-ins and a fireplace mantle. The did tile work and painted too. They were very clean, timely, and did beautiful work!

After remodeling our (now stunning) kitchen over a year ago, we asked Potts Brothers to come back and help us with our deck project. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them because they work with the client to troubleshoot and solve challenges and make sure that the client is happy in the end. Before I start, let it be known I rarely post reviews I NEVER POST NEGATIVE. I hate to complain. But I just want to share my personal experience with Potts Brother LLC, I'm sure some people somewhere have had greats experience and may think the world of them, unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Potts Brothers, in my opinion, suffer some horrible communication and customer service skills and also not realizing its the year 2018

We were hiring them to take care of mold and repair drywall. The never tell us what time they were coming my wife has to call and ask what they will be there. They say 9:00- 9:30. Ok got it! The day comes I'm home waiting, I'm on the phone with my wife I tell her that I think I hear the doorbell, I go downstairs open the door nobody's there. I look out the back window see a gentleman in getting in his car, I lift up the window to try to get the guy's attention still not sure it's him or not. I go downstairs open the basement and the guy's gone.

At the time I'm still not sure if that's him, nobody called and said hey I'm at the front door or I'm at the back door or anything like that. So we called the only number we had which always goes to voicemail,"Hey not sure if that was you but, we're here" no response. I call back Monday get the expected voicemail, no response. So I call back Tuesday, someone picks up and HANGS UP THE PHONE, YES. So I said this cant be real I call right back, someone picks up, and proceeds to argue with me about how they're not coming back out because I should have been there. Their lack of communication is costing them money, we had some more work for them to do, my porch steps are jacked up, there are other things in the house we wanted to be fixed.

What I assume happen was, that he came knocked on my basement door, then came around front rang the front doorbell once and left. I was waiting for them, for some reason I did not hear him. All he had to do was call and say "hey Mr. Humphrey I'm outside". We had no contact information for him, he had ours. Communication and bad customer service got them this review, loss of work, loss future work, and loss of recommendations. Again I'm not to assuming that my experience is the same that everyone else will have. This is how my family and I were treated.

Let me say first that I certainly TRIED to use this business, but due to their complete lack of follow-up and responsiveness, I was unable to. I had them come out to give a quote. They were a half hour late, but they gave me a heads up with plenty of time to plan for that, so no problem. The guy came in, we discussed the job, he wrote down a few notes, and then quoted me an amount on the spot. I gave him my email address and he said he would send me the proposal to review later that day (Saturday) and I made it clear that I wanted to move quickly on scheduling and was eager to get the project going.

I received no email proposal Saturday. I received no proposal Sunday. On Monday, when I had still received nothing, I called them and received a voicemail and left a message. No proposal, no callback. I had found this company through the Anji app, so on Monday evening, I sent the company a message through the app. No response. Here we are on Wednesday, I have received no follow-up contact from this company who supposedly has such amazing reviews. Those must have been the lucky people who were actually able to get these guys to show up on time and respond to their inquiries. It is really a shame. They must be so busy that they don't need my money! This has been a setback for my project planning and overall a disappointing experience.

I had the entire glass windows broken from the storm. Those guys are very consistent and work hard. I’m extremely happy with the results.

Master bathroom remodel- and I would highly recommend them. Tile work by Jose was fabulous, as well as the custom window bench. A big thanks to Bob (and my neighbor for recommending them)! Already thinking of the next project- will definitely use them again.

Potts Bros have done several jobs for us over the years. We call them back every time we need painting done because we can count on the job being done very well for a fair price. And the crew and staff are always super friendly, polite, very helpful, and thorough. They’ve painted are front porch twice, to include replacing damaged or rotting wood as needed. Over the years, They’ve painted pretty much every square foot of the inside of our home - some rooms twice as the kids grew and moved out. They also do other work, for example the power washed the exterior gutters, siding and trim - which made a huge difference with the look of the house. We didn’t realize how dirty the outside of the house had gotten - yuck! Potts Bros is the best , and we’d never hire anyone but Potts Bros when we need our home painted and for other stuff.

Highly recommend them. I had issues in water leakage. They did the process very smoothly. Very professional team.

I have a townhouse with a full across front white porch with six sections of railing. Some of the bottom rails had rotted and needed replacement. I went on Angie's list and checked out three painters. First two could not handle carpentry. Called Potts who came out in very short order, surveyed job, quoted good price including carpentry. Crew came out early and did first rate job painting the TH (mainly trim except for big front porch). Key aspect was that Potts guys replacement of full bottom rail on sections between pillars. Previous painters had replaced rotted areas of a section, but over two years they rotted out again because of hair line joint between repair and old section.

Excellent and professional paint job with no drops or brush dribble on non paint surfaces. Good selection of paint and two coats plus on porch. Oh, and the guys took off six flower boxes from railing, painted them inside out and put back up after thoroughly painting entire railing well.
