We had a great experience working with Kitchen & Bath Factory. We had a new bathroom installed in late 2013. Our old bathroom was completely gutted to the concrete slab and studs. Kitchen & Bath staff helped with the design and guided us through the process. They helped us pick out fixtures and worked out the project timeline. The contractor (Waldemar) did a great job on the bathroom. Reasonable price and very easy to work with. Very high quality bathroom. We are very happy with our decision to hire Kitchen and Bath.

We recently redid our condo kitchen with Kitchen and Bath Factory. We worked with David on the design and Rafal was our contractor. We were absolutely delighted with how the kitchen turned out. It is perfect! These guys made a stressful project as easy as it could be with detailed schedules. For the project we did our due diligence and got estimates from a few places, and KB&B was right in line for the majority of the kitchen design companies, but we chose them because of the staff they have and that our contractor would handle everything. This included demolition, haul-away, handling the install of hardwood floors, patch and paint, install cabinets, new LED light fixtures, backsplash, and install new appliances. My favorite part of working with this group was that what we budgeted for before we started the project with the quotes for the work was exactly what we paid for the project including the cabinets and labor. I would highly recommend using Kitchen and Bath Factory to everyone.

David and Waldemar worked great together. David designed a bathroom which achieved most of our aims despite the limitations of our house. Other designers we had gone to had told us it couldn’t be done. Waldemar communicated well with us and supervised his team effectively. So far we still love our bathroom!

I designed and purchased a bathroom vanity and wall cabinet from Kitchen and Bathroom Factory. The quality of the materials is superb. I liked that I could pick out everything and design the bathroom vanity to the exact inch in width that I needed for my small DC row house. I went to 2 other bath design stores in the metro area first and found that the vanities came in set widths by 3 inch increments. That's why I chose K&B Factory. I also like the marble top that I chose. It matches my marble tile floors perfectly. The contractor that I employed through K&B factory was detail oriented and respectful. I showed the finished work to my neighbors with the exact same floor plan, and they asked for the information of the business to consider employing themselves.

My only suggestion for room of improvement: I had some issues getting through to staff to set up design appointments in the beginning. And, the gentleman that answered my calls could have been more flexible. I have a hectic work schedule and am rarely at my desk to receive personal calls.

We absolutely love our new kitchen! It is amazing and really changes the feel of the entire house. The process was very smooth and I appreciated the timeline schedule of the project ahead of time. When there were small issues David and Bob and Waldemar worked very hard to fix it and make it right. They were always available and approachable. The work crew was wonderful as well and a pleasure to have in our home. We could not be more pleased with the work and our choice of using Kitchen and Bath Factory.

KBF did a bathroom remodeling and partial kitchen remodel in my condo. I found their customer service to be lacking. When I brought issues to their attention, their response was anything but prompt, and I would characterize their attitude as aloof. The contractor they assigned the work to was disorganized and only showed up to collect a check, doing a fly-by inspecting any of the work done. The contractor lacked attention to detail, leaving me to get involved with tile suppliers to rectify a miscalculation on the part of the contractor. His lack of oversight resulted in towel holders being installed in place of toilet paper holders. I would not recommend them nor will not work with them again.

We are very pleased with our new bathroom. All of the work was done very professionally and on schedule. The materials are first-rate, and all of the people who came into the condo were very respectful and mindful of Covid protocols. We are especially appreciative of the general contractor's hands-on work as well his efforts in coordinating all of the "moving parts." It was a pleasure working with him.

The folks at Kitchen and Bath Factory were a pleasure to work with. They were not pushy and kept our budget in mind when designing our kitchen. Their prices were competitive as well! We absolutely LOVE the results- their products are high quality and the folks they recommended we work with for tile, granite, and appliances were wonderful. We did have a few issues with our contractor, but K&B Factory were very quick to help us resolve them.

Excellent customer service and follow up. K&B Factory designed and installed our new kitchen cabinets two years ago. Last month we noticed a small problem developing on one of the cabinets. David and his contractor came out right away and made the necessary adjustment at no cost to us, demonstrating K&B Factory's commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them, and plan to go back to K&B Factory for future renovations.

We had the pleasure of working with David and the team at Kitchen & Bath factory for our kitchen remodel earlier this year. David put together a beautiful design that really transformed the center of our home. His team was there to step us through the entire process from selecting materials and appliances through the remodel itself. We could not be happier with the result!

The whole process was simple and my wife and I appreciate that everything was completed on time (even a few days early) and at the agreed upon price. We love the design and appreciated David's help in accomplishing the goals we had for the new kitchen. We also appreciated the professionalism of Pawel and his team as they worked with us to complete the project. Considering all of the demolition and work required, our house remained clean and we were able to stay in our house for most of the renovation. KBF and contractor Rafal designed and installed our condo's new kitchen and we love it! We recently downsized from a single family house to condo and realized the new space couldn't accommodate our stuff. David at KBF miraculously created a new design which (more than) doubled our storage within the existing footprint! In addition the condo's worn (and cheap) cabinets, wallcoverings and countertop were upgraded to beautiful, top-quality, products which will last us many years. KBF and Rafal's team easily navigated the maze of regulations and procedures required in our large building. Their skill, craftsmanship and professionalism were exemplary. THANK YOU!

The complete renovation of our very small (6’x7’) main bathroom was completed 4 weeks ago and we are TOTALLY HAPPY, primarily thanks to 2 local companies, Kitchen and Bath Factory and MK Home Improvement!

Our primary goal was to replace a jetted tub with a Kohler LuxStone grout-free walk-in shower. For that part of the project we contracted with the only Kohler LuxStone contractor providing services in Virginia, as well as Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania, Home Smart Industries (HMI), out of Aston PA. While we love the LuxStone shower and Kohler products and the installation teams were terrific, the fact that HMI ONLY offered the tub-to-shower conversion meant we had to find another company to upgrade EVERYTHING ELSE in the bathroom.

For that very important part, we were fortunate to find Kitchen and Bath Factory(KBF), right here in Arlington, Va. KBF has been operating for 3+decades and we know why: THEY DO GREAT WORK at reasonable prices and are SUPER to work with! David Doughton, KBF owner and designer, and his staff and preferred contractor and vendors were SUPERB! Great design, thoughtful and professional advice, and a willingness to coordinate with HMI seamlessly were critical to our project. David and his teams came through for us on every level.

Our installation team for all but the shower was KBF’s preferred contractor, MK Home Improvement (MKHI). There are simply not enough good words to say about Marko Kristel, MKHI's owner and team supervisor, and his teams of craftsmen. They were on top of every piece of the project and worked closely with each other, with KBF, and my husband and I. They were attentive to every detail, thorough, fast, highly professional AND always kept us informed, welcoming our many questions. They even kept the areas they were working in clean as they went along.

In summary, we highly recommend BOTH Kitchen and Bath Factory and MK Home Improvement for home renovations!

We absolutely love our new kitchen! David listened to my ideas and worked his magic to transform a tired, dated and very small kitchen into a new modern space that we actually enjoy spending time in. The transformation is amazing and far exceeded my expectations.

I was recommended by someone in my Condo to visit Kitchen and Bath Factory for a renovation estimate for my small kitchen and bathroom. I feel that David was not interested in my renovation and gave me a greatly inflated price estimate for my work. When I left the office I realized he just did not want to do the project. It may have been too small. I would have appreciated his honesty in dealing with my project. I will not be sending any referrals to Kitchen and Bath Factory.

Issac , with Pacific Home supported with suggestions for appliances per my renovation information, submitted all information to K/B factory and coordinated the shipping and delivery. The contractor, Rafal and his team were efficient, thorough, careful and left my home clean each day. I am truly grateful for this team and my new kitchen !!!!!

We love our new kitchen!! Kitchen & Bath Factory was wonderful to work with. They came up with a great design, maximizing our small space for storage and day-to-day utility. Our cabinets are beautiful and very sturdy. Janet and David are very responsive anytime you have questions. Waldemar is an excellent contractor - he is a great problem solver and he is also extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests. The work was completed in a very efficient manner, yet Waldemar didn't miss a single detail. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience and we will definitely use Kitchen & Bath Factory for our next house.

Several years ago, Kitchen & Bath Factory renovated my kitchen, much to my satisfaction. When it was time to remodel by bathroom, K&B was the first place I considered. After meeting with other design centers, I made the wise decision to return to K&B. David is wonderful to work with. Not only is he a creative designer with thoughtful attention to detail, but he is a great listener which was so important in understanding my thoughts, ideas and needs. We used Kitchen and Bath Factory to remodel a bathroom and build a new closet in our master bedroom. The whole process was smooth, from the design to the construction. They matched us with a contractor who was responsive and always on time and working. They helped us with design drawings and material selection, and we're very pleased with the final result. David and entire team at K&BF in Arlington did an outstanding job on both of the remodeling projects at my condo: (1) my kitchen renovation in 2023 and (2) my bathroom renovation in 2025. They are very professional and knowledgeable about product, design and execution. They handled the entire project-management process, including obtaining permits and scheduling inspections by Arlington County for general construction, plumbing and electrical. The team provided me with a schedule for both projects and abided by both schedules. They handled all relationships with other vendors, including granite contractor, shower enclosure contractor, lighting wholesaler, custom-cabinet makers in Pennsylvania and structural engineer (required by my condo association in advance of removing a kitchen wall). They oversaw two other condo renovations in my community that I know of, and both owners were as pleased as I am. Basically the only thing I had to do was choose appliances for kitchen. The carpenters and workers who were assigned to my projects were professional and respectful of the community and my neighbors; they removed all debris to off-site disposal centers.

K&BF did an outstanding job they explained the procedures, the cost estimate and were patient with my questions I would use them again but this new kitchen will out live me! S couple of pics shows the old and new,
