Even though his website clearly states "no job is too small," he declined to even give me a quote on installing a ceiling fan in my apartment. After reading positive reviews beforehand, I was disappointed by the slow responses and quick dismissal of my inquiry.

Don't hire him if you have COVID concerns. He will hand you a piece of paper that says "don't be a sheep" if you ask him to wear a mask in your house. Completely unprofessional

Mark is professional, competent, and honest. He explained his work and was reasonably priced. I would continue to hire him and will recommend him to everyone I know who lives in the NoVa and DC area.

Mark was responsive, on time, professional, explained the problem to me and fixed it all within 45 minutes. I thought it was a bad breaker; in fact the problem was a short in a poorly installed light fixture. I would recommend him and will use him again next time I have an electrical issue.

I've used Mark Young a few times before, and it's always a great experience. He is flexible on time (and helped me out once on very short notice), does great work, and has very reasonable prices. He is honest and doesn't recommend unnecessary work. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Mark came to install a chandelier and dimmer for our living room recently. Very professional, reliable and reasonable. He is licensed and insured which is always critical when contracting for this kind of work.

Mark is great. He has done a multi-day job for us at a new house we are moving into. He is friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. He does wonderful work, and is also accommodating of other workers (we are moving, so we were having the house painted at the same time that Mark has been doing electrical work). His prices are incredibly reasonable, he shows up on time (or, usually, early) every single day, and works hard all day. And, his bills are very clearly itemized. It is so nice to have someone come do work without feeling like there are hidden charges. We really enjoyed working with Mark - he's very pleasant to deal with, and is very responsive via email. We would absolutely hire him again.
