We have hired Matt on several occasions to do a variety of projects around our house and could not have been more pleased. He has consistently provided high quality work at very reasonable pricing. He is the only electrician we will hire going forward and the only one we recommend to friends and family.

No one would dare work on our electrical components outside due to the age of the house. But Matt was able to solve our problems and even though it was a big task he did it so calmly and patiently. Matt is very professional and he has worked in our house alone, he always made sure the property was secure before leaving for the day!

Not only does he do electrical work, he is a man of all trades, when we have asked him for advice on non-electrical problems in the house, he always finds a solution for us! We hope his business continues to flourish because we will be using Matt for years to come!

I highly recommend Matt and his team at Higher Power. We wanted to have some work done on our house, but had to be away during the work. Matt was extremely professional, communicated well, and handled every part of the problem. We asked him to go above and beyond, redoing all my old ethernet wires running around the house, dealing with an upgrade to our pool pump circuit from 110 to 220, which included a new sub panel as well as trenching and multiple inspections and also included pulling an ethernet drop to our garden shed dependency and leaving a spare low voltage runner for a future Ham Radio antenna. He also installed a EV charger, which also required trenching and inspections. He did soffit and exterior lighting, fixed our doorbells, and upgraded light fixtures and took care of several other minor issues. He stayed within budget, was reasonably priced and sent pictures clearly showing issues so we could trust him remotely. He never left any mess and worked well with all of our other subs. I recommend him to anyone for any electrical issues.

Matt and his team at Higher Power Electric Services know what they're doing and are very responsive to your questions. I've had Matt connect ceiling fans and install video doorbells, and he is our go-to service professional for all our electrician needs. He and his team are also all very nice.

Matthew and his team are AMAZING! They have exceptional customer service - quick response times - and are very reasonably priced for the quality of work provided. They come prepared (I thought I had 4 outlets needing attention, which turned into 6 and some additional cover plates). They didn’t bat an eye at the additional work and graciously completed it all. This is my second time using Higher Power and I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else!!

Matt did a great job installing two ceiling fans in our house. He was fast, professional, and left the rooms clean. He even stayed and looked at some lights & provided a quote on another project we are thinking about doing! Highly recommend working with Matt and his team!

Absolutely a great experience with High Power Electric Service. The team was extremely courteous and professional. We discussed best course of action on how to install and wire two sconces in a finished room. The team was able to accomplish the work in the stated time with minimal repairs. The sconces were installed on one side of the room with the switch on the opposite wall. No repair was needed for the ceiling as the team was able to fish the wire between the joists. When finished with the work, the team cleaned up as of they were never in my house. They walked me through the completed work and ensured I was satisfied prior to their departure.

I highly recommend this company for any electrical work.

A million thank yous for Higher Power’s fast and responsive service today as the heat climbed to almost 100 degrees: the A/C circuit cut off due to an outlet wiring issue. Our regular electrician was out of town and we needed repairs done as soon as possible; we looked on-line for electricians in Arlington and found Higher Power. They were super responsive!!! Matt showed up within a half an hour of the request and diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than a half an hour. We are so pleased with this outcome and VERY grateful! Matt has an easy demeanor and explained what he was doing to troubleshoot and repair the issue. And a very reasonable charge for the work. Absolutely worth calling for all our electrical work in the future! Highly recommended!!!

I had a small electrical fire in my basement over Memorial Day weekend. Matt, the owner of Higher Power Electric responded to me immediately. He maintained communication with me and came out within a couple of hours (on a Saturday of a holiday weekend!). Matt replaced my entire electrical panel that evening, for a very good price. I have had other tradesmen in to do various work since then and they have all commented on how great his work was. Matt came back two more times to set my mind at ease concerning the cause of the fire. I simply cannot recommend him and his company more. They are honest, hard working, knowledgeable, and just all around good people. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I highly recommend Higher Power Electric! We recently needed a new 30 amp breaker installed, and they were fantastic. Matt has worked on numerous projects for us in our new home including an entire panel upgrade, receptacle replacements, adding additional outlets/lights in various places, installing fixtures, installing bathroom fan, and adding recessed lighting to a room.
